good morning doc,

i have been treating ulcer for a while now..infact this is more like the 4th time ill treat it this year. ive used triple therapy twice...last weekend i started feeling pains at the pit of my stomach coupled with body pains, fatigue and nausea. i went to the hospital on tuesday and the doctor gave me omeprazole again and artherget( athemeter lumefantrin) ive been feeling extremely weak and short of breath and feverish too..and im beginning to think if it is really ulcer.
so sorry about ur predicament you have met the criteria for an endoscopy u should actually avoid drugs which can worsen ur ulcer such as NSAIDS( declofenac felvin) i would advise u to see a gastroenterologist not all epigastic pains that radiate to the back is ulcer thanks

Hello people, my name is chris am 21 years old and i live in lagos nigeria.pls i have this problem but i doubt if it could be scoliosis because i dont experience normal pain except after carrying load or doing exercise.I noticed i can't put on certain clothes like long sleeve cause it wont fit my body and i look so awkward.i am slim but my shoulder looks round amd bulky not slim.I just went to igbobi recently to consult a doctor and he wrote adolescent scoliosis on the paper he gave me to take to the xray,i have been given appointment date to come, and the amount is 10k.The problem i have now is i dont know how to tell my mum (single parent) or any other because when i told her through whatsapp because i grew up with my grandma, she thought i was insane, and she was disappointed in me and telling me i should love myself and stuffs like that she even took me for deliverance.Apart from the shoulder i told her that i always see my nose so big on my face when am staring at things or people, even when i lie down or read, and i cant remember my past events, probably maybe because of depression, so this are all i am experiencing right now, pls i will be glad if anyone can advice me on what to do now,i love myself and i want to live happily,my mum said i shouldnt even mention it to her again.

And who said powder is not good for babies? since it is the face ensure u bath ur baby with lukewarm water keep proper hygiene and apply any Good TALC power available. Even at 6months ideally I should introduce ur baby to family diet!

Nobody is preventing u from getting pregnant look inward either complications from previous abortion or pelvic surgeries or late marriages fertility depreciates as from 25 years or inadequate coitus or the fault could be from ur man. most infertility we know were the problem came from but we choose to pretend we don't know!

So much quacks here any small thing they claim its staph staph is a natural human microbiotal which is found on the skin vagina etc it poise no danger at all except when immunity is down and it present as boils called carbuncles as for the pus discharge from the anus it could most times be pilonidal cyst which if not treated well may result to fistula in another what u need is incision and drainage and please dont ever take this herbal drugs it has killed so many Nigerians.
Health / Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by drlayla(m): 3:45pm On Feb 23, 2016
Lol sorry to burst ur bubble I dont do private chats Imagine those who dont know the pathophysiology of PCOS argue. u need hormones to ovulate which are disorganised of these hormones are not balanced sorry to make u sad no miracles will make u ovulate until it is corrected lols how will u ovulate when hormones like FSH progesterone and leutinizing hormones are spiking? if anybody tells u ure ovulating but the eggs are not enof thatz y ure not pregnant that is the biggest lie ever told one egg or 2 can be release monthly for fertilization to take place. those who release more eggs most times have taken drugs like Clomid bromo and even placed on HCG......
Health / Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by drlayla(m): 3:04pm On Feb 23, 2016
ofcoz u should be bothered PCOS goes with infertility ur doctor will definately managed u with the standard regimen and am sure he must have adviced u on ur insulin level ur BMI majority of PCOS will not ovulate until they treat them with clomophine citrate or bromocriptine depends on the centre ure visiting. PCOS is not as bad as those having complications from PID( salpingitis) or those with ashernan syndrome
Health / Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by drlayla(m): 2:58pm On Feb 23, 2016
All I said are facts only those who aren't in the field of medicine will argue well recorded in all gynaecological text like 10teacherz agboola and okpere these are books which all medical student used so pls if ure not a medical doctor u are not in any position to call facts which u have no knowledge as falacy. If ovulation cycle goes with cervical mucus if ure dry all through it means ure not fertile .
Health / Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by drlayla(m): 2:47pm On Feb 23, 2016
and I can bet u those with polycystic ovarian syndrome will not ovulate and will not have cervical mucus all things been equal if a lady do not have adequate cervical mucus during ovulation ( which is even one way of determining ovulation) she will never I say never ovulate the cervical mucus largely depends on hormones especially follicle stimulating hormones leutinizing hormones and progesterone. No cervical mucus see a doctor and treat the underlying disorder.

Ayaayo I agree with u ky jelly can actually inhibit sperm mortility by 60 percent but I can tell u a woman who has no cervical mucus is not ovulating. Hence if actually she is experiencing ovulation there will be increase urge to have sex and there will obviously be enof cervical discharge which will actually facilitate penetration as far as she is not ovulating no mucus and pregnancy can't occur.TTC best actualized when ladies experience ovulation as for clomophine citrate the side effect u pointed out is not recorded in any medical literature.

Want to get pregnant? first thing first Reduce ur weight! treat any underlying infections Dont take any foul smelling vagina discharge likely ensure u see a doctor when u notice lower abdominal pains could actually be PID ovarian cyst appendicitis or even Red degeneration of fibroid. Rule out post abortion complications most times scan won't tell u if ure experiencing Ashermans syndrome. Ur nipples most not have discharge( if it does see a doctor who will place u on drugs ) check for abnormal hair growth and abnormal craving for food. And lastly infertility is actually confirmed when couples have penetrating vagina intercouse for six to 1year without conception lastly ur husband should do seminal fluid analysis. Some women actually cause problem for them selves they douche the vagina with soaps and other chemicals which actually Re sperm killers.

pls be careful what advice u take on Nairaland cervical mucus is usually optimum during ur ovulation or 36hours prior to ur ovulation as far as ure having a regular menstrual cycle ure OK however sexual stimulation pre-intimacy will definitely make u wet pls dont risk any of this advice here ur bartholins are enof to help u lubricate and if I can't get well lubricated u can get ky jelly from a reputable pharmacy. Even some vagina discharge are due to infections such as candida and its cohorts. Any further challenge see ur Gynaecologist.
