when a claim is falsified in science it is discarded as bogus and thrown into the trash can of nonsenses, but when a claim is falsified in religion they reinterpret it as a metaphor or allegory..

This is how it works, when science makes a discovery that directly or indirectly debunks a religious claim.

-They reject it as false
-Accuse it as work of the devil
-they say it's biased
-they fight as much as they can to discredit it
-then they go back to the contradicted verse
-reinterpret it
-come out and say it was exactly what their holy book meant
