How can one take currency position in Nigeria? No time man tell us!
Oh, Thats not so hard todo, all you need is get an account with a Forex broker that deals on currencies and the rest trading instruments, fund your accounts and decide which positions you can afford either day deals or weekly deals, PM for more details if interested in getting started.

$ to naira is never stable. If naira had appreciate in value and you both at say N160 to $, it means it ccould have been N150 to a $. You would have lost N10 on each dollar. Now $ is N199. It is not pernent. It can drop tomorrow. Currency biz is not one sided. It is 50/50. Hope I cleared it small.
are you really in Nigeria huh when has naira really appreciate in value in the trend of times ,it keeps losing value because of geopolitical activities and bleepup forex reserved. i choose and will still choose to always save my earnings in $$, it is always more in value when u change it to naira

ENTER a buy on AUDUSD now at 0.7790.
take profit 50pips, 78pips and 123pips for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd trade respectively.

move stoploss to breakeven when market moves 30pips in your favour
Risk/reward ratio is very important when trading over a long period of time. Many new traders coming into the forex market fall into the trap of refusing to let their winning trades run. Lets have a look of how that will affect them over
time.
Trader #1 Risks $100 and takes profit at $25 giving him a risk reward of 4-1 this means that in order for him to break even in the long run he must achieve 80% winning trades.
Trader #2 Risks $100 and takes profit at $100 giving him a risk reward of 1-1 this means that in order for him to break even in the long run he must achieve 50% winning trades.
Trader #3 Risks $100 and takes profit at $200 giving him a risk reward of 1-2 this means that in order for him to break even in the long run he must only achieve 33% winning trades.
Trader #4 Risks $100 and takes profit at $300 giving him a risk reward of 1-3 this means that in order for him to break even in the long run he must only achieve 25% winning trades.
Now who do you think is going to succeed in the long run? Surely it is far easier
for traders 3 & 4 as they have less pressure to achieve a high win % in order to make money. Are you beginning to see how important this is? I prefer to try and go for twice or three times the
amount I risk while always moving my stop to break even as soon as I can.

InvestmentHow You Lose Money Saving In Naira by drpips1(op): 10:05am On Feb 26, 2015
Its no longer news that the Naira has lost over 20% of its value against the major currencies of the world these last few months. Everyone agrees that on a macroeconomic view, that's bad for the Nigerian economy. What most Nigerians don't seem to realize however is that this isn't just an issue for the finance minister and international traders, but an issue for each and everyone person who has his savings in the Naira.

https://genxfinance.com/genesis/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/save-money-electric.jpg

Simply put, as the day goes by, your Naira in the bank can buy just a bit less than what it originally could. This may not look instantly obvious to you, but it becomes more so when you consider the fact that because of the sliding value of the Naira, your purchase costs a little bit more than it originally did. This is the way inflation works.

To bring this home, if you had saved your N1,600,000 million up in dollars, few months back when the the rate was 1:160 (USD:NGN) You would have had $10,000. Today if you were to convert it back to NGN, at the current rate of 1:199, you would be making about NGN400,000!

Are you caught up helplessly in this? The answer is pretty simple, and i know a few people who have positioned themselves to be 'immune', or at least better placed to deal with this. All you need to do is to look to save your money in the currency that the Naira is sliding the most against. The US Dollar is always a good bet, given the strength and relative stability of the US economy, but you could also do CHF(swiss frank), GBP(Great Britian Pound). I wouldn't do the Euro right now, given the uncertainty in europe, caused by inflation concerns, Greek debt, and the Ukraine crises.

I like to keep my posts simple. If you would like to know more about taking currency positions, please send me a PM
FamilyRe: Stimulating Creativity And Critical Thinking In Kids. by drpips1(m): 10:19pm On Feb 24, 2015
naijababe:
Folks I need some suggestions as regards the above for my two kids are aged 8 and 5.

I already have a routine nailed on reading and mental maths but I feel like I need to be doing something on the above. I just need ideas, I plan on buying a chessboard and teaching them both to play, other ideas welcome.
Reading(general knowledge and novels) , music, games, questioning, and meditation are the fuel for creativity. every kid is creative and an artist with unique abilities so we should not teach them what to think but rather how to think.

instead of taking for granted the way you view things, think for a moment from a different perspective, do not assume you are the ultimate reference frame, put yourself in their shoes, how are they viewing what you are also watching, what contradicts and whats similar in the two views, this will help in relating with them much more with emotional intelligence and also help them identify the invariant of their unique identity

emotional intelligence is an essential factor when relating with them, ability to recognize their emotions and feelings and never to repressed them(also note that the opposite of negativity is creativity) ,this way they can freely see the objectivity of the truth, not how they are told to generally believe, but how the imagination of the thought present it to their reality for creativity lies in the imagination

take this for example in the world of physical science, in order for Johannes Kepler to determine the laws governing all the planet, he had to get of from earth to view what was moving it, he mentally put himself on mars to view himself back on planet earth, which was his key to figuring out the earth motion and hence the invariant which move all the planets

a creative mind can therefore be said to be a mind that can boldly pierce to the domain of the unknown where sense perception break down and answers cannot be gathered by simply adding things together but through dealing with the complex relations of thoughts

i am still so much inspired by this quote from Albert Einstein till this present moment

"i believe in intuition and imagination, i sometimes feel that i am right, i do not know i am, i am enough of the artist to draw freely from my imagination. imagination is more important than knowledge, for knowledge is limited but imagination encircles the world"

BROKER ANALYSIS:

Dear all, I am really interested in analyzing brokers.
Apart from skill, I believe that ones success as trader also depends on the broker.
Out there, we have the good, the bad and the ugly!
Some brokers trade against there clients, some will prevent you from closing a losing trade, some will frustrate you when you want to withdraw your money. others will pursue you left, right and center asking you to commit money and promise you all the dollars in the whole world but it ends once they get their greedy hands on your money. Some will even stop communicating with you once they 've got your money.
Some have support that is near zero.

Yet, in all these, their reliable, efficient, honest and supporting brokers out there, whose pride is in your success story!

I am hoping that this will help all Newbies.

Which Broker are you using?
How is there execution time?
Rate their support.
What is your experience with withdrawals?

What rough experience have you had with this broker.

On a scale of 1 to 10, rate this broker in overall performance.
Will you recommend this broker?

Have you heard any experience with any broker?
If yes, which.

In which aspect was this experience?

Thanks to you all.
Bros You are still in calabar grin when you suppose don reach ikoyi by now, e be like you never ready yet. anyway if you need brokers try this guys IRONFX

the trend of this thread has been shakyhuh ,its hard to deduce the fake from real when life itself is like a mirror reflecting the true self and emotions of the soul in it. majority ranting rashly with destructive, negative and pessimistic spirit.... Forex is hard , hey you cant do it? in search of the almighty holygrail only to find out that a great scammer was once here smiley, but here is the simple question for the gullible and confused, if you dont have a holygrail{ state of Mind(Money)}what is the essence of investing your hard-earned funds in the market chaos despite you are taking orders within the chaos here and there, does it make sense or it doesn't have to make sense. or could it be greed and fear has blinded you from the only thing that matters which is the energy and life in all you put your consciousness into.when did we stop realising, all the allusions, illusions and delusion are all state of mind, it means you conform to the chaos neglecting the reality of the fact that you have paid a price in exchange for value at a particular time.......but hey all you could rant about to encourage your fellow man is "forex is f**king damn hard"
well that is a story for another time if called for, my advise for those lost and still struggling , trying to make a living with their effort in this industry is "to Free from desire, you realize the mystery. but only get Caught in desire, you see only the manifestations." smiley. at this point, i wish everyone goodluck in this forex business smiley

Do you know what I understand from this your post??

"Stay away from news trading"
exactly, even some brokers will tell u to be careful during that period. speaking from my own experiences when i use to trade henry liu those dayz, its not all majors news that have spike even when one is anticipating fr a major move, i encounter unnecessary slippages, and even when i try adjusting my R:R , so i can have a tangible yield cos my portfolio was just going up and down randomly until i found out the news was all noise as the moves are in price actions and pattern formation, since then i have decided to be technical analyst which am still glad i did. But dont also forget what works for Mr A maynt work for Mr B

I understand your explanation. Thanks,'
How ever, my main challenge is how to get the data released early enough an the point of making a trade.
I ve discovered that before i will see the data and place my trade, its almost over.
you straddle your trades for breakouts with a stop order but on some(0r most) occasion like major news release like NFP, it could be fatal or dangerous without stoploss and MM due to potential slippage, widened spread and whipsaws

@ 12ema

why quoting me with many words, many lies when i wasnt even referring to anyone specifically huh, could that be conscience at work?, well let me tell u my reality of the past , i have succeeded in blowing up accounts worth thousands of dollars, even when i tested my method on a demo account, yet i didnt give up the trading of forex cause i knew i was the enemy of my account along the line, you dont truly believe in something until you can risk even yourself at it.at this moment , you are making me questioning my reason for being here, which if you knew me, you will see i write to free minds cos my only intention is to take my readers as high as possible ( nature of the mind). this thread is meant to post information and equally educate as well and i so much appreciate your contribution with that, not a hustling ground to decieve and make your fellow man unhappy. but point of correction am not saying anyone cannot sell methods or signals over here, all am saying is if you cant proof your method with a live account, you are just playing a mere computer game which makes your comment infantile grin, when you post in here

NB: For me ,i really don't roll with fake arse ppll cos it nauseate me , if i wanna buy signals in here or any method, Thank God for technology and the information age, who will argue with anyone if signals are presented like this guy on mql5 ,if we still dont get the joke in this industry, Forex is designed to cure human stupidity

at the last expo i attended in Lag, Mr Daniel Ademola of GKFX said if you have a live account history of 6 months good performance that he will give you a big account to trade.

in this biz capital is never a problem if you have tangible proof. a corper friend of my got about 200,000$ to trade late last year, just because he had something to show. with good proof a trader will be turning down offers
That is the skin in the game broh cool

@parasitic what are the signs of early kidney disease or problem?
puffiness of the face or moon face, swollen feet and hands due to fluid retention, frequent and clear urination or infrequent and dark urination, high creatinine level, anaemia, pains at the lower abdomen of both side or one side, nausea, feverish feelings/malaise and headache.

but the major indicator is the high creatinine level in the plasma as most renal failure may be temporarily caused by streptococcal toxins that is injurious to the glomerulus tubes or by urinary tract infections caused by e-coli, proteus and the rest.while other causes maybe due to the genetics, nephrotoxic chemicals(or drugs), or cause unknown
