As the battle for the final clear out of Boko Haram remnants continues in the North East, the local security volunteer group, known as Civilian JTF, in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State, yesterday, claimed it had arrested a notorious Boko Haram kingpin, named Bashir. The Civilian JTF noted that the Boko Haram kingpin, popularly called Bashir Sarkin Yanka, which in Hausa means “Bashir the King of Slaughter” had been the terrorist acting as Abubakar Shekau in some videos on the social media. Meanwhile, the Nigerian military, yesterday, said it was yet to confirm the speculation over the arrest of the Boko Haram kingpin. A statement signed by Air Commodore Dele Alonge from the Information Office of Operation Lafiya Dole also disclosed that two suspected Boko haram members, who infiltrated an IDPs camp, have been arrested. The statement read: “The Nigerian military has arrested two suspects, Audu Umar and Hassan Umar, for smuggling themselves among the Internally Displaced People (IDPs) brought from Pulka to Gwoza IDPs camp in Borno State. “The male suspects, who gave their names as Audu Umar and Hassan Umar are undergoing interrogation by the military and intelligence operatives. “Meanwhile, the Nigerian military is yet to confirm the speculation over an arrest of Boko Haram kingpin, popularly known as Bashir Sarkin Yanka, which in Hausa means “Bashir the King of Slaughter.” The spokesperson of Operation Lafiya Dole in the North-East, Air Commodore Dele Alonge, said the military cannot confirm the arrest of Shekau’s actor even as the military has sustained its counter-insurgency operations where some terrorists have been eliminated and others apprehended in the North-East. The arrested suspect was reported to have confessed to the Civilian JTF that he had acted as Boko Haram Leader, “Shekau” in some videos and was responsible for the death of his (Bashir’s) mother, two sisters and brother, apart from engaging in mass slaughtering. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/02/boko-haram-civilian-jtf-arrests-shekaus-suspected-impostor/ Cc: Lalasticlala, Mynd44, Dominique |
Now I understand why PMB said the Judiciary is his greatest headache ![]() |
Nice one |
Its obvious, cos for the past 3days our light hasn't gone off, even thou we are on 33kva line which makes the power supply in my area stable, but we have never had uninterupted power supply for three straight days before..Thumbs up to the FG and the Power stakeholders.. Its still a pity that we are celebrating a meagre 5000mw power supply as a Nation, but we will get there.I believe Fashola and this present Govt will really bring smiles to the faces of Nigerians with steady Power supply before the end of this Govt's tenure. |
iyimiolami:I can't disclose such online, you can inbox me. Thanks |

iyimiolami:Good day! Since your fiance was diagnosed of having myopia, the best treatment options are Spectacle lenses or Contact lens. Surgery is also an option. Please I will like to know how your fiance came about using atropine, and why it was prescribed..cos the drug is not a drug to be used without doctor's prescription and monitoring.. Atropine narrows or close the anterior chamber angle, blocking aqueous outflow which can lead to Angle Closure Glaucoma, which in turn leads to blindness. Hence, extreme care must be taken when using Atropine expecially on Patients with narrow angle. I will like to know why he is using Atropine. |
The economy will definitely bounce back..massive looting under previous govt really compounded our woes..God bless PMB |

Greycious:Happy new year..Sorry,I have been so busy. From your explanation,it showed that the redness often experienced may not be pathological( diseased condition).Stress, lack of Sleep are some of the major causes of conjuctival congestion( redness of the eyes),this is because there is usually extremem pressure on the walls of the blood vessels leading to vasodilatation which brings about increase blood flow to the conjuctival vessels thereby causing vessels congestion which manifest as red eyes. I will advice you always make out time to rest when needed and avoid murdering sleep during the night.you can also create time to visit an Eye Clinic for a comprehensive Eye Check just to know the status of your Eye health. Thanks |
