Hi all, cc: kelvin4jesu, I am a professional working in Lagos as a travel consultant. However due to the future forecast of the aviation industry in the country, I have a feeling that if there will be an advancement in the industry, it will only favor those who have not certified themselves but also those who have international experience as is the norm of our Nigerian Environment. This recent research analysis has forced me into thinking relocating to Dubai will be the best option for me to not only harness the soaring aviation industry in Dubai but to also grab some international experience. I have also noticed jobs are practically dwindling in Nigeria and only the informed forms who are versatile will know how to walk through it. I have a friend who recently traveled to Dubai on a 3 months visa with which she later got a job but I have a feeling she got a Labor visa as analyzed by kevin4jesu and she's been pestering me to crossover with the same process which I have no problem doing. My question however is what is the best type of residence permit to look out for when and if I come to Dubai in search of a job. what are the possibilities of getting a travel job with my current 5 years experience in the travel industry here in Nigeria. I have been following job posts on www.dubizzle.com which seems to be like their national ads site in dubai for jobs and they post jobs there everyday but based on the research I did on accommodation, I cant seem to find a balance. I am ready to relocate to dubai for the first 3months to look for a job but the cost of getting a suitable accommodation is tearing my brains apart. I will really appreciate the contribution of kevin4jesu on this and other dubai residents at this time because Im about to buy me a lovely Infinity FX35 and continue my hussle here in Nigeria but if the Dubai option is positive, Im willing to come and make more money for the future... @webmaster: there's nothing much to say, thanks for everything verdict line has been drawn Im going for it.... #for the records, im a musically inclined maggot. I cannot do without it in fact im a drummer in one of the big churches in Lagos and my car serves as my mini studio to score songs when im in traffic..... btw, please do u think I can get a clean superb looking 2006 for like 1.7 or 1.8 ![]() webmaster3: @drumma |
@webmaster you're such a God sent.... I really needed someone who actually is driving that piece of chocolate to help me through my decision.... Growing up, I have always envisioned driving a Nissan car but I don't know what changed along the line that Honda just overshadowed my thinking faculty. Now that im inching closer to the luxury model, I would like to enjoy this ride before I relocate to Dubai at least. 1. What would your analysis of its maintenance cost be like? my accord would swallow 11k oil, 500 filter & 1500 total servicing... that's pretty convenient for me 2. Since you said there are no mechanical issues as such, I can only pray I get a pretty well maintained piece & 3. What type of oil is recommended by manufacturer at service & what its availability in the Nigerian market ? that's about the most important thing to me. I will appreciate further advise from your stable of experience. webmaster3: Currently drive 05 FX35 and its extremely fast. |
@abatically.... to be sincere hen im not buying the car just because of the bad road terrain ooo... I have just looked through all lists of SUV/CUV's and I haven't seen any one as matured looking, explicitly beautiful and the feel of that sense of belonging owning a ride... biko the car is like a must buy for me. abatically: If u are buying it mainly because of bad road terrain then in my opinion u should look for another taller car. I have used an fx45 and its ground clearance is not higher than my 05 accord. The suspension is sports tuned, very low and gives a very harsh ride than my accord. I believe fx45 and fx35 share the same suspension. |
@bimbor I can't help but laugh... who would have thought I had a follower here.... chai I feel so bad i had no idea you were interested in my Accord ooo I swear the buyer didn't spend 20mins after test driving it, he even kept his wife in my office just to ensure i don't change my mind..... I guess i'll give myself kudos for the good maintenance culture but I miss that car chai.... thanks for the love bimbor: @Drumma I thought you just bought that 07 Accord less than 6 months ago, you want to sell it already? |
Hello Guys, I am in the process of buying an infinity FX35 SUV but as is custom, I thought it wise to seek general views and opinions about the car. I was using an 07 accord V6 and due to the road terrain in my neighborhood, i had to jack up my height. I have read alot of reviews about the infinity ride but would appreciate clarifications from people who have had hands on experience with the ride. My bone of contention would be the maintenance cost, durability, reliability, resale value and option of everyday usage! I just hope it will be worth the buy. Thanks |
HALLOS TO ALL! been a while, I just sold my 2007 Honda DC and in the quest to upgrade to maybe an 08 or 09 of the same accord, I have been unlucky with getting a lovely ride. Hence I have been thinking of moving to the Infinity models and I do love that FX35 beast because of its mature look and the sense of driving something worthwhile. My question however is this, coming from the parent company(Nissan), is it really a ride that will be worth the buy, maintenance and rest of mind like my Honda DC gave me? cos for a moment I think I kinda regret selling my accord. I will appreciate any advise on the FX35 infinity model. Regards cc:luvinhubby |

@adanny01.... thanks for the tips, will consider the left to right change options as the two front tires are just 1 months old.. bought them in June. adanny01: Get proper wheel balance and swap front tires to back and back to front while also crossing them from left to right and right to left. |
Nice one... but for all you people dropping american drum licks for amateurs to learn biko try and understand they are not learning to become a drum percussionist...... Groove is what most Nigerian drummers lack from my little experience and that is attributed to the people they listen to or better still try to emulate..... Creativity defines your style. |
Dear Luvinhubby, I need to inquire about my 2007 honda engine seats.... I complained to you that my car vibrates when Im on 120/140 K/MPH gave me mech the key to drive to the express and give me a list of whatever needs to be done to restore the sanity of the car as its too sweet to be driving below the stated speed and it cripples my love for the car too.... my mech on the other has gradually turned me into an ATM taking the car in the morning and bringing it at 5:00pm with no substantial result yet he gets paid. On one of his return last week, i told him i still experienced the vibration and this was when he discovered another engine seat on the lower end that needs to be changed. Im frustrated but I need to get a professional who can fix this once and for all.... plus my car will be due for service so kindly send your boy to deliver my usual at my allen office. Thanks for your anticipated response. |
Sweet 2007 Honda accord (v6) for sale or swap looking to upgrade to a 2009/2010 Accord (v6) preferably. I would appreciate any one that can offer me a good deal... I would love to have an American spec if possible. Pictures available. |
Hello.... please can anyone supply me a new battery for my 2007 Honda accord V6....I need it like right now my battery just parked up.... |
Hello Guys... cc: @luvinhubby.... I think my 2007 honda accord is having some issues, I recently noticed that when Im on full speed at 100/120MPH my car sort of vibrates and I complained to my mech who advised i change the two steering socket which I did but the problem still persists. I later went to total service station where they hinted that the engine might be sitting on the body or so... not sure what that is... my left front tire has also began to swing slightly not sure what caused that too cos i just bought two new tires last month and wheel balancing and alignment were done simultaneously. Kindly advise what could be the possible challenge my sweet first wife is experiencing cos driving below 120MPH makes me a nervous wreck abi why drive a V6 if i wanna maintain 80/100MPH. Please house over to you. BR |
elari: @ o.p, i tend to disagree with you. ever heard of the term code mixing and switching. pls ,go back and study these terms well then come back and lets have a discourse.Code mixing too much nah kilode... Take him back to the grassroots at least he's learned as he claims? What was he doing when his literature teacher was tutoring abt poetic license... Next thing u see one of his brother go talk say that one dey only applicable to poets... Mscheeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwww |
Afam4eva: Whoever this Daniel is, he's out of his mind. Why are Nigerians so worried about the English language, which is a foreign language being bastardized but have no qualms with the face that our children don't even understand our local languages let alone speaking it. I'm not even sure those that own the language are this overbearing. Someone should inform this Daniel that Funke is an entertainer and like other entertainers, they're there to make believe and whatever they say or do shouldn't be taken as gospel. It shouldn't be the fault of superman that some kids somewhere decides to jump off a storey building because he saw superman do it.Help me ask this idle frustrated mofos oooo**** oversabi scumbag*** |
@OP sorry to say but i think you're sick nd u need attention! Arrant nonsense. Even americans commit grammatical blunders and its termed right cos every neighborhood have its own unique compisition.... Thanks for wasting our precious time with ur sick ass thread.... Oniranu |
