Why is this so? Times have changed. Women now work and earn as much as men. In some societies, market prices take this into consideration.

I think this is one area some of the Nigerian women I see need to improve. To them it is painful if they use their money to pay any bill in the house. I hate that mentality.

Mr Man, you must understand something. So far the student is 18+ and done with consent from both party, then I see no reason the boy should be castigated.
