Love800: You speak in parables man. I can't really notice the points you trying to make!
Okay. Just do it like a list. List your points on how clubs generate income or money? Same answer to both posts by you. Go look for posts by a chap called Swiss Ramble. I believe he posts on Twitter. He will break club finances down for you. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Real Madrid & Man Utd Are The Most Valuable Clubs in the World - Forbes by Druss(m): 11:58am On Jun 01, 2025 |
danietohbadt: I made reference to the stadium majorly because Spurs' home ground is valued at about £1B making them miles ahead of what Chelsea currently own. This, coupled with a bigger fan base on match day earns the club more revenue.
In the last two to three years, Chelsea has been without a front shirt sponsor and without European football as well, as well as the club currently undergoing a major restructuring.
These factors contribute massively to the fall in valuation of a club like Chelsea, hence my reply to the guy who wondered how a club like Spurs has more value than Chelsea. Understood. My comment was targeted at the same fellow. Unfortunately I keep forgetting that NL doesn't have nested comments. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Real Madrid & Man Utd Are The Most Valuable Clubs in the World - Forbes by Druss(m): 8:55am On Jun 01, 2025 |
danietohbadt: They have a bigger stadium. Bigger stadium is nothing without the commercial deals. Levy and his staff have been geniuses when it comes to that part. It has been a while I read Swiss Ramble's analysis but I suggest you do so. Spurs are a very well run club. In terms of wages as a percentage of revenue, they are solid. Some of these clubs battling for Champions League are overextended. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Real Madrid & Man Utd Are The Most Valuable Clubs in the World - Forbes by Druss(m): 8:52am On Jun 01, 2025 |
CaptainGo: No one becomes rich by being frugal, but from earnings from investment. Tottenham's worth is largely due to their stadium. Tottenham has been top 15 wealthiest club even before the stadium build. You can't compare the financial nous of Levy to whoever is at Chelsea. If you have the opportunity to have access to Levy to learn from him, grab that chance. Dude has steadily built Spurs post the Sugar era to what it is now. The stadium is the 2nd part of the plan. The academy and facilities was the first part. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Real Madrid & Man Utd Are The Most Valuable Clubs in the World - Forbes by Druss(m): 8:50am On Jun 01, 2025 |
dominique: Tottenham Hotspur is more valuable than Chelsea? We need to know which parameters Forbes used to come up with this list Tottenham is a bigger club than Chelsea. Don't let the recent money enhanced performance of the club fool you. Facilities wise and financial strength wise, Spurs is bigger. The man behind Levy is Joe Lewis who is also a billionaire. The club is also commercially and financially stronger than Chelsea and doesn't need to utilise underhanded tactics such as trading female clubs to other companies. |

AntiChristian: The new tax bill should fix this so no more complaints.
Is it only breweries that pays CIT or its a pool for all industrial CITs?
How are you so sure what gets due to Kano from the CIT is from Nigerian breweries? New tax bill will only tax people who are paying their taxes. In fact it will increase the tax on the elite. It doesn't solve the question of inadequate taxation if that is indeed the problem. One question though - do our legislature and executives pay their tax? |

You lot are impossible to understand...shebi you heard her say copies of the communications she had with Akpoti were sent to security agencies both at the US and Nigeria for authentication and verification...why would she do that if the stories were fabricated, wouldn't that amount to shooting herself on the foot.
Akpabio and Natasha's anticidents might put them in precarious conditions when it comes to trust but fact is fact. You trust Sandra and yet don't trust Natasha. Aren't both of their cases based on 'dem say'. All these noise is unnecessary. They should sort it out in court instead of distracting us from the mess in Nigeria. |
