Are there jobs one can do to survive and pay bills in China?
Everything I have seen on this thread so far has been about getting the visa, not about getting jobs etc

Can u please share one or two things?

please be aware that chances of you getting visa for just language classes alone are highly minimal...i mean people are refused visa for even undergraduate ... but good luck.

China Student Visa (X)

Chinese student visa, also known as the X visa, is issued to aliens who come to China for study, advanced studies, or fieldwork. It can be divided into two types:

X1 visa: For long-term study > 180 days

The validity of both is 90 days from the date of issue, while the stay duration for X1 visa is usually 000, which needs to be determined after the applicant enters China, and that for X2 visa is not more than 180 days.

For international students, it’s necessary to find an organization accredited for offering courses or internships to foreigners so that they will send a JW201 or JW202 form and an admission letter.

lol how would you not resume for the program you paid for?
its possible to apply for scholarship and transfer while youre at a uni in china, .. most schools give scholarships based on performance of seld sponsored students even, so you dont need to apply. but if you dont go to classes why should the school give you scholarship??
starpex:
Please guys is it possible for sm1 to enter China with a self funded admission and process scholarship oneself over there without resuming for the program he obtained visa with?
Education / Re: Nigerian Students In China by dste(m): 1:00pm On Aug 25, 2018
visa depends on you man, dont listen to agents, none of them can promise you visa, there are two embassys in nigeria,, abuja and lagos.
go to any closer to you. ask questions there, get all required documents and you are good. i left jianzhu last year.
starpex:
its so great to have something like this around... pls guys I just got Admission into Shenyang AU.. and at this junction I am literary confused about the visa process.
pls guy, is there any sort of WhatsApp group related to this thread
Education / Re: Nigerian Students In China by dste(m): 12:57pm On Aug 25, 2018
like i mentioned earlier, have some valid details before paying.
no reasonable agent charges up to 50% before admission is ready.
the reason why some (like me) charge 20-30% upfront is mainly to see how serious the applicant is and also to pay for the admission fees.
check agents facebook account and other social media channels like website, linkedin and so on.
i have my website where my linkedin , email and whatsapp number is on. some others have theirs too i guess.
list goes on.
cant blame most applicants getting scammed though.
oh, and before you pay anyone especially from this thread, check their profiles and search their names.
see how often they post and what they post about.
Sleezwizz:

Its not as if someone cant use agents but getting genuine ones is the issue... How do u expect someone to feel whereby u get swindled of your hard earned money by a scammer... I was sammed in June this year by someone on this platform recently so thinking of using an agent again will be kinda difficult for me...

not for anyone in particular , but at the same time its for all. please note that i am an agent, and i charge fees for scholarship admission. i know some of you would start shouting that it should be free and all. but once you get to China and realize what it takes to survive i am sure you would understand with me. for self sponsored admission asides the admission fee we charge very little and some times we dont charge at all for self sponsored because schools pay commission. But for scholarships for NIGERIANS especially we charge.
i try to help people that is why i created this thread here on nairaland, Funny how some people would beg you to help them get a full scholarship with stipend of about $500 monthly and after its successful , they refuse to pay up the agreed amount, and start stating different reasons why it should be free.
so please i am begging you, it is not compulsory you use me or any other agent, yes csc scholarship is free for all and you can apply online by yourself, if youre lucky you would be accepted. Those that use agents know how difficult it is fir Nigerians to get the scholarship.
again sha, if you are sure of yourself and your luck you can apply online by yourself. Don't come to me for help and after everything is done you start giving reasons why you cant pay me.
kind regards.

why not wait till september?
thats what i would do if i were you. March intake, even if you are successful, the best i can promise is partial scholarship.
but, i know september next year might seem far, its the viable choice .

Oh really? But it might be possible

I am ready to apply via you, if it is possible sir.
