I'm a batch B15 (stream 1) corp member, posted to Taraba state on October 28th 2015. I opened an account with UBA on camp and the account details was sent to me day after leaving camp. (November 17th). I redeployed to Delta state and reported at the secretariat on November 18th, 2015.
Till now, I haven't received my December & January allowances. Majority of my friends whom we redeployed to various states together have been paid duly, which leaves me to wonder what i did that they didn't do. I've called & called., sent messages too; from the accountant to state coordinator (Taraba). Yes, I got across to them.
The officials here said there's nothing they can do to help. I've exhausted all avenues, even tweets to @nysc_ng aren't responded to. This plea goes to the authorities in charge to help facilitate my allowances. Moderators., I'll appreciate front page for wider audience & contributions. Thank you.

Madam, the issue could be in any of this two dimensions!
1. Your redeployment: Normally,I do think after redeployment, it's only 3months after that corpers are entitles to allawee(I stand to be corrected ooo). If that's not the case like you've said that some of your colleagues whom you redeployed with already got theirs, then I think the problem will be with the manner it was done!

2. The bank: Check if the bank is aware that you've redeployed and your account should now be credit red through the Delta NYSC and no longer Taraba. (since you opened the account at the taraba camp).

To be on a safer side,you take a day or two off from your ppa and go to taraba to settle this once and for all to avoid any further missup!

Note: Not experience in this,just thought of what it could be, prepping A'16....

If you really want to help PCMs out with their registration and you do not want them to have stories that touches to tell later in camp,I will advice you visit some of your colleagues that has been doing this registration long before now and learn how it is been carried out (because a lot of technicality is attached to the registration such as biometric finger capturing,specific size of passport not just filling of forms).
You can also read up on the modalities of registering on NYSC portal(this gives how the finger printing exercise should be carried out)....

Fellow PCMs,wish you all a stress free registration exercise....

It has come to our notice that almost all PCMs want to register on the first day,this announcement is supported by NYSC! mode of registration is as follows;

Day. PCMs school
1. Only OAU
2. Only UI
3. Only ABU
4. Unilag and UNN
5 till end. Others...




It has been warned that failure to adhere strictly to this will attract one week extra at the orientation camp without basic amenities....

I haven't comment on the update yet due to my schedule yesterday.

With this, I don't think they will be able to accommodate 3 batches this year again as earlier promised or stated by the DG.

1. The DG said they are going to have 3batches this year (December last year)

2. There was an unofficial TT in circulation (Late December last year)

3. The official TT was incomplete (January this year)

4. TT ammnended ( January)

5. TT dissapeared ( January)

6. Another amended TT,yet incomplete (January).

7. Another incomplete TT and still an amended version (February)

Now telll me why I should take any thing serious again about this NYSC rubbish!

Still hopeful something positive will change about this TT....

Good evening house,I've been reading various comments about the released TT and I must confess,personally am not happy with the timing(me don tire for house like kilode)....
I want to suggest that all of us should move enmass with out petitions to the right channel for NYSC to hear us,am talking about their twitter handle and their Facebook page, we can also send emails and text messages to those numbers released earlier! This will make dem to know that we(at least 80% of,PCMs) are not happy with the timing after the long wait for it to come out!

Just my opinion tho!!!
