Hello guys,
Please I am having a small issue with my WES Evaluation.
1. Making payment for the evaluation has been a hell of an issue. I have tried my GTBank USD Debit Card all to no avail.
2. I am confused as to when I should process my transcripts from my school (OAU) to send to WES. Is it after I have made the payment on WES or I can proceed to pay for the OAU transcript when I'm yet to make the WES Payment?
Please, I would appreciate your support if you have passed through this stage before.
I will be waiting for your response...
Thanks all |

Voda Paints Limited is not a Scam Company. I once worked there for more than a year and I must tell you that it is one of the best place to work in Lagos. The company located in a 3-Storey Building that houses other companies and Businesses and those doing Job Scam activities happened to be using the last floor of the same building Voda Paints Limited is using. They are the one using Voda Paints Limited name in their fake job invites to people. As at the time I worked there, these scammers have been evicted from the building. Other companies in the same building are; University Press, Paint Manufacturers Association of Nigeria office, Nigeria Small Scale Enterprenuers (not sure I got that right though) office, etc. Please let’s remove Voda Paints Limited from this list as this bad media reputation is affecting the business/brand identity/image. Hi Guys,
I just came across this thread and I have been able to read from the first page to this page. Please I have few questions to ask the gurus in the house.
I have been trying the study route but I just thought of doing this EE too just to spread the net and hope for the best.
Please these are my questions:
1. Which do you advice I do first? IELTS or WES? 2. Is it possible to be in the Federal Express Entry Pool and at the same time apply for a particular Province Nomination too? I heard it helps to boost the score. 3. Is it that once you are in the pool (I mean after submitting the EE application), you get to waits every draw time to get selected for ITA and if one is not selected for ITA, at what point can you re-submit the EE Application?
Please, I will be grateful for the gurus in the house to help me answers this questions.

Hello Bro, Please I would love to ask what the difference between Master Degree Program and Post Graduate Certificate is? I am about to submit my application Georgian College but I want to understand what the difference between this two mean! I will be waiting for your reply please. Thanks nnamdi346: Each program has its own requirements however, they look at your WAEC/NECO result more. Anyways, my spouse is going for a nursing program which is quite competitive. She only has one C in her WAEC and was admitted. Although she submitted her degree transcript (over 4.0 cgpa) and WES evaluation, I doubt if those were a key factors.
Check for your program requirement here https://www.georgiancollege.ca/international/programs/#postsecondary-program-availability

1. IHS will be for 2 years 2. Transcript or certificate at the point of application(most school) 3. Both - but student hard copy will do during application as well. 4. Personal opinion - you can apply on the school website yourself (no agent)unless the school direct you to use UCAS

Please I want to further my enquiries on this project because my people will always say "Person wey ask for road no dey miss road". Big thanks to Mimilyrics and the other wonderful lady (Please I can't remember your monicker now, but you have been wonderful so far on the thread).
Now these are my questions:
1. My wife (MA) will be applying for a 2 years Program (Full time), how many years IHS fee are we going to be paying? One year or 2 years?
2. At what point will transcript will be requested for? At the point of Applying to schools or after admission has been given?
3. Also, what type of transcripts is required? The student's copy or the official one directly from school. We made enquiry from the school and they said to send one transcript to a school will cost 30k.
4. Finally, what is the difference between applying to the school directly through their websites and applying through UCAS?
I will be so grateful to once again read all your comment - answer.
Thanks. |

Based on my research, the initial deposit is 3,500 (My wife’s course is 15k) and then the installmental payment is 34%, 33% and 33% of the total tuition fee on Arrival, January and April ending respectively for the September 2022 intake, I guess. Once again, I can't thank you enough for your well detailed answers and help. I will kick start the process now and keep up with the thread for further assistance at each stage of the application. Thanks so much mimilyrics once again, you are great! mimilyrics: You're welcome.
Yes. You will need to show school fees + maintenance. School fees will be on the course page + the offer letter. Maintenance is in the UKVI link in my comment. For your wife: School fees or balance + maintenance of £1,334 per month * 9 months for inside London OR School fees or balance + maintenance of £1,023 per month * 9 months for outside London. For you, the dependant: Maintenance of £845 a month * 9 months for inner London OR Maintenance of £680 a month * 9 months for outside London.
The dependant's application is hinged on the main applicant's. If you're applying at the same time, then get your documents and evidence at the same time. If not, get your documents (eg. TB test) like a month before you apply + the evidence your spouse's legal stay in the Uk (visa vignette/BRP/Student status letter. If applying within a few months of the main applicant, please ensure that the main applicant's POF or receipts (rent, tuition etc.) is available to show that the funds are truly available and not recycled, if requested at any point in time. https://www.gov.uk/student-visa |

I am really grateful for your response Mimilyrics, you have done more than what google will even do cos, trust me, it can be so confusing especially when you don't have a clear direction, but what you've done is to make it so simple for me to relate with and run with. I am so grateful and God will keep blessing you. Furthermore, on the No 2; - Are you saying once we know the school fees/tuition, we can go ahead to start sourcing for funds to use as POF? How then do we know how much we need as POF? will this be included as information during application to the school or how do we get to know the exact POF needed? - Where do I come in as a dependent in the whole application process? Is it at the point after the CAS has been issued to my wife or when?. Cos I understand that there are some test both the MA and the dependent must do, example is the TB test. Will that be done together or differently. (I hope you understand my question). Once again, thanks so much. cc: ducchess90 daviddango mimilyrics: 1. Google is your best bet. Search for schools that have the course that your wife wants to study at. If you have particular locations, include that in your search. No one can do the basic research for you as people pick different schools for different reasons. You can try University of Kent, University of East London, Greenwich, Stirling Uni, Anglia Ruskin Uni, Northampton Uni, Oxford Uni, Cranfield Uni, Robert Gordon Uni etc.
2. Start prepping your POF the moment you decide on where you want to go and you know how much the tuition will be, in addition to your maintenance. Apply to school => Get offer => fulfill offer conditions => Undergo your TB test around this period => Show POF plus other required documents (TB test, BSC/educational qualifications as required) to the school for CAS issuance => Get CAS and start online application => Submit and pay for your application online, select biometrics date, and upload supporting documents via self-service => Go for your biometrics appt and use assisted service if you have documents not uploaded via self-service => await UKVI's response. |

Thanks so much for finding time to reply me. I have gone through the first 10 pages of this thread and even the previous ones through the links provided. Now these are the questions, confusion and worries I have as at now; 1. How do I get a school to apply to for my wife? I have tried google but most time, I get same response that do not help or not enough, so I will appreciate if you can direct me on some list of schools to check and apply to for my wife. I am also considering the tuition in this place, so I want moderate tuition schools. 2. After Application, are we to proceed to the Visa office for the Visa Application and when do we start getting our POF documents ready? I am anticipating your answer sir/ma as I want to start the school application process as soon as possible and see how far we can go in short time. Thanks so much sir. cc: duchess90 mimilyrics Davidandgo: Hello,

Thanks so much bro. I am really grateful for the response. Since Driver's License is safe to use and I think it takes lesser time to come out unlike International passport, I think I will process the DL first. Codedboy95: 1) International passport, driving license. Some people have also gotten their account verified with nimc, I think this depends on the upwork empoyee that reviews your application
2) In most cases yes
3) Implication is that your account get suspended, you won’t be able to apply to jobs and your current contracts might be put on hold. |

Good Afternoon Great Freelancers,
My Joy know no bound when I stumble on this thread.
I just joined the Upwork Family this March and I have submitted around 8-9 proposals already with 3 clients already in my message box discussing how best I can fit for their project.
Now, a lady (a new freelancer too) messaged me that she got blocked on Upwork. She has already gotten an offer and she has started working.
I asked her what could be wrong and she said the Means of Identification she used was rejected. At First, she used National ID Card which she said was rejected, then she used Voter’s Card and then it was also rejected. Then she got the message that she has been permanently blocked on Upwork.
Now my questions are these;
1. What exact means of ID can one use on Upwork that won’t pose any issue and get one’s account blocked.
2. Is it after one’s got an offer that Upwork request for verification of those ID?
3. What is the implication of not verifying if what you are having is only National ID card and Voter’s Card and they are not accepting that?
Please Gurus in the house, help me answer this questions cos I am really scared now that I am getting invites form clients and I am hoping I will be getting an offer soon.
Thanks
I will be waiting to read everyone’s contributions
