It means that your email and some other details have been recognised by the system alredy. Try and clear cache from your browser and start all over again probably with a new email.

NIN is free, Driver's licence is not... NB. You would notice it's wasn't made compulsory during filling out the form online... There is still time... Do the needful now... Open the passport with Microsoft Office "photo Editor", keep increasing the pixel till you are able to get the size u want.

If at the end of the day, you didn't see the log in details, then you will have to also start afresh again.

FOR PASSPORT UPLOADING ISSUE: try and use a recent passport photograph. If possible, use a printer to scan it and let it be scanned in color and resolution at 600dpi.(this is a method that has never failed before). Let the size be not more than 50-100kb (preferably anything in the range of 51-59kb, that is what I do use) and saved in jpg(jpeg) format. Some person will be lucky to upload any form of image passport and it will go, while some will even upload correct format of image passport and they will still have issue (an aspect of life that is dicey), but the truth of the matter is that for the fact that you do something out of normal norms and it work for you does not mean everyone else will do it and it will work for them. We need to understand that and stop thinking we are super gig.

Just as Fabem has rightly said, the site is kinda down technically this moment, let's try and be a little patient with it. Once it is back, you guys can go on.

PS: and for that kid HNO3 talking thrash here, someone should please warn him to refrain from it else, he will ever regret joining this forum last month.

Thought some people say u can't do it with phone. I did my own application with phone, everything...

Nobody ever said you can't do it with phone, but every issue that people have been having are all from all those that started the registration with their phone or let's 90% of them. (At least most of the issue I have treated both online and offline) and that was why we were advised people against it so that it will reduce issues during the registration. And as you know it, there is always an exception to every rule, so let me say you were just lucky to get it done without stress.

Well, when the registration started, i discovered that the system only accept a duly scanned recent passport as anything aside that wont work. But as time goes on, the site has started accepting passport irrespective of whether it was snapped using a phone or it was scanned.
I think the first solution I will give you is to clear cache from your browser first. Try that, if it persist then try and used a scanned picture with 600 dpi resolution and resize it using "microsoft office Image sizer" to give you a very good image. Do that, and let me know the outcome.

Or was it because i snapped it using phone and then cropped it to suit their size? I am confused as it was thesame picture that i used for both FFS and NPS registration

If you continue like that sir, you might not get any headway...
so do this harmless little trick.
Open a fresh gmail address (If possible, dont let the mail has any content related to your name), then re start your application and then While filling your name, put only your Surname and Maybe your first name or Middle name only (Not the two at the same time). submit it and once you were able to get the log in details, Add the skipped name back before you proceed to next of kin stage. To avoid getting the access denied, try and use a PC for the registration from start to finish if you have been using a phone and if you have been using a PC before, clear off cache data from your browser and restart it before starting.
Kindly try that and let us know the outcome.

You must have made the mistake of tampering with the Surname while doing the pre registration. How is the name appearing? Is it only the First name and the middle name that is been misplaced or the surname is taken for another one? let me know.

The lower cadre site for fire service is always active in the midnight.
once it is midnight, go to their site, register first and once it finished loading, log in to the board. After that, Upload your passport first (it should not be more than 10kb, but I will suggest you make it less than that), After that go to "new Application" then start to fill the form, submit and after the submission has been done, you will see "preview", click it and make sure the preview page has your passport on it before you print it out.

For the Road Safety, the site is also very active in the midnight for those just starting to register.

Have you tried doing the registration on a PC? If no, try it first, if yes and you still keep getting the same error message, then do this:
Open your preferred Browser, go to the settings (advanced), clear the cache data maybe for the past one month or thereabout, close the browser, restart your system and once it is back, open the frsc portal again. This time around, try and create a new email that does not contain anything related to your name (i.e if your name sussy, you can a gmail that is susgen1234@gmail.com), after doing that, try to apply again. So that you wont have issue of "you have a pending application already, check your email for details" simply swap ONLY YOUR FIRST NAME AND YOUR OTHER NAME (and if possible, you can skip your other name for the pre registration stage). Do that and let me know how it goes. Incase you still have any issue, let me know.
