Guys, abeg I need ya advise.

My first trip this morning to Ojuelegba, rider hasn't paid my 1,700

I know we've all said to confirm transfer before moving. But where I was parked wasnt so much a good place. So, didnt wait so long before those angry uniform men come pick me up, na so I move plus I got another request. She said she has done the transfer but i loose guard unto say na bank she dey work. So I felt she wouldn't run me street. But apparently, bankers too dey scam.

How should I present the matter to Bolt support. Someone once said If we mention transfer, say Bolt will say we r on our own....how best can I tackle ?

GPS wahala today no be here. Anyone with GPS problem today

Whenever I have GPS problem and I'm on 4G LTE mode, what I do is switch to 3G mode and vice-versa. It happened today on my last trip to Bariga. Sometimes, the GPS stops directing and stations at one point even when I'm on motion. But once I changed my mode, it picks up again.

Also note that if you are already on 3G mode, switch back to 4G LTE mode.

I notice that some areas are not good with 4G mode...while some are good when on 3G mode...so I switch mode.

I use Glo and this has been working for me.

You can make the switch on your phone settings.

Hope this helps.

If u say u understand, then u can't say his anger is unnecessary. After doing rigmarole to the street, he turned back cos of road construction which she should have warned from the beginning. she then also didn't check d address she put on the App. The guy drove past the house and had to turn back again. Haba!!!
If it's an area where the streets are tarred it's a different thing but not in an area with terrible roads. I don't want to drive an inch further than I should in an area like Ago. Trust me, u also don't want that.

In any case the guy controlled himself and didn't burst out in anger to d client so thumbs up to him and every other person in d services Industry that has self control.

Thanks for this.

To even add to it sef, the street was even very tight that I was obstructing other cars from passing....so, I had to keep going front to stay at the gate of a house and driving backwards with apology for obstruction oh.

You guys always want it all perfect, she forgot and called when she remembered isn’t that enough to be calm? The way some of you driver behave is bad like real bad even when you ain’t all perfect.

Agreed, she forgot the first time.

But You missed the point sir....What about the time I passed another route to her street and called her to update her I've arrived? Why delay extra 10mins+? Knowing fully well your street is very tight and I have to keep driving front n back when cars wana pass coz I was basically obstructing other cars.

Mehn, today would have been the first time I walk a rider outta my car. But she behaved well.

Was at Ago palace after dropping off a rider. Got a request to Yaba left. As I was approaching her street, I noticed they were fixing the road. Immediately her call came in and she told me about the road repair. In my mind, I was like, why didnt you call me earlier to update me. Small vex enter me. She sha directed me to take another street which I did via map.

Meanwhile, I already swiped arriving now oh when I first entered her street coz I was already 2mins away from PU before seeing the road construction.

Fast forward to when I got Into her street, I was at no 72, called her that I'm outside...she said no oh, i have to turn back that she's at no 62. I don dey vex already but stayed calm. I sha had to turn back inside that tight street. Got to PU...waiting another 8-10mins inside hot sun AC. Meanwhile, waiting time don dey count oh.

After about 8-10mins , she came out, me I sha bone face. I nearly walked her outta my car but she was carrying her baby. She saw my countenance and started apologising for the delay. I just told her I was expecting you to had come out when I told you I was at no 72 and you told me to turn back to no 62. That it's not fair that I had to wait another 10mins but it's fine. But she still apologized n explained she was busy with something. Apparently, she was packing her baby stuffs. So, I became calm sha.

Supposing she had mistakenly said shebi shes the one paying n bullshit crap or she gave I dont care attitude. Omo, I would have activated 3mins madness and cancel at the front of her gate. The sun was too hot for someone to be doing anyhow.

I sha started the trip and after feeding her baby, sleep carry am go coz there was traffic n she seem tired. Got to yaba left n woke her up.

Ended the trip n She did transfer n thanked me... but I didnt bother to confirm coz where I was parked, I no sure of the place. So I drove off.

Few mins later I checked n still haven't gotten alert...omo!

Called her n she said she would send me her debit alert. After few mins, she called back n said they haven't debit her that she would send it. I sha said okay. Few mins later when I was close to home, I got alert.....

I don close shop.

Tomorrow is another ginger day. Still waiting for the first rider I'll cancel n walk outta my car...lol.

What if u drop a rider inside and drive out of the lot then u get another request from inside the mall?

Any Rider that takes u in or out of any paid parking area or thorough fare should be the one paying. Irrespective of the previous transaction of either driver or Rider.
So if it's past 7pm weekdays, all-day weekends or public holidays, tell them if u have to drop or pick up inside d mall they will pay a N200 parking fee. Sometimes it's added to d fare, sometimes it's not, so wen u end ur trip and see it wasn't added, u collect your N200, it's easy to collect when they have already agreed from the beginning.

I guess it's better to just inform them ahead of time to avoid shalaye at the end of the trip.

Thanks for the input man.

Toll gates fee are automatically added to your fare but as for the shoprite, drop your rider by the entrance gate or ask them if they will pay for the parking, only then you can drive them inside.

Thanks for the input man.

When you end the trip, before confirming price...you will see the information that the price includes toll fee, probably you didn't pay attention to that (Airport toll fee o). After you confirm, unlike before the breakdown doesn't show the airport fee breakdown analysis....

When next you end a trip that involves the Airport toll, check the price info after your swipe end trip before you confirm price, you will see the info

Peace

Okay, no issues. I'll pay attention to it next time.

Thanks for the input.

The rider that you dropped at ICM pays the parking fee, or he/she drops by the gate. The person you're picking up at ICM isn't meant to pay, cos he/she might have paid for the 1st driver that dropped him/her.

At Airport toll, you pay. The app automatically adds it to the rider's fare.

But if on Indriver, you can beg the rider to pay, though it's not the rider's responsibility. Cos whenever a trips comes in on Indriver, it avoids toll gates. So if you chose to pass through the toll gate and not follow the route the app suggested, it becomes your duty to pay.

Thanks alot for the response.

About the ICM ride, this is noted.

I just checked the ride details that I took to the airport. There was no toll fee mehn. Wonder what went wrong.

Guys,

Please a quick question.

Just wana clarify, who's responsible for toll fee? Rider or Transporter?

I was at Ikeja Shoprite yesterday. I didnt realise that on Saturday n Sunday, a flat fee of 200naira is meant to be paid. Initially thought the first hour is always free.

Also, took a rider to local airport and passed through the toll via Ajao estate. Paid 200naira as well.

How do you guys handle please?

The truth is u can get trips to anywhere from anywhere. Ikoyi is faily okay but on working days, from d Island to Gbagada is more likely during closing hours around Victoria Island. Let me leak one of my favorite spots, hope I will not begin to see u guys crowd d place grin if I find myself in VI from 4.30 and I want to go to d mainland, one of the places I like to position is inside Sanusi Fafunwa, park before the second turn on ur left so u can easily access the area because of the one-ways. This street is central and u can access 3 of the 4 main zones of Victoria Island. I can get trip from Left (Oko Awo/Karimu Kotun) and Right (Ayemo Alakija/Idowu Tailor/Church Gate) of this street as it is packed with companies and offices. U can get a trip from Adeola Odeku/Akin Adesola/Kofo Abayomi/Idowu Martins Axis, u can easily go back to Eko hotel/Adetokunbo Ademola Axis to pick a Rider. The idea is to position where there is high density demand inother to increase the probability of getting a trip to ur prefered zone.
Hope this helps.

Thanks alot man for sharing. This is appreciated.

Your phone and or network must be d culprit because u r in a good area...starting and closing u will always get a trip.
Your phone should not be less than a 2GB 32 phone. And if it's filled up, delete pictures, videos and Apps to have minimum 2GB of free space out of the 32GB

Then positioning is key, observe ur environment if it's a place u can easily get trips. Target densely populated residential areas, commercial areas, corporate areas and mixed zones. Know d times and seasons and where to position. Residential areas in d morning, commercial and corporate from mid-day.

Toggle d car icon on your App (If on Bolt) intermittently to make sure u r online and not idle.

Select trips...some trips are time wasters, avoid heavy traffic zones except it's a long distance trip on surge. Some short trips are worth it some are not. U should be able to determine the ones that aren't worth it. One good long trip is better than 3 average trips.

If I were u, in d morning I will be looking for a trip to d mainland or at least VI from Sangotedo. Surge or no surge, that will set you up for high earnings and ginger u to make more throughout the day.

All d best

@Pearl1910

Abeg, what's the best place to position to get trips going towards Gbagada or Ajao Estate from the Island around 4-5PM? . I've tried position at Awolowo Ikoyi, but I mostly get trips to Surulere. Yesterday, I suffer for inside traffic. I no sure say I won near Surulere for now.

Any idea biko?

My experience yesterday

Picked rider (glasses, stud, gold chain) in-front of petrol station festac/ago palace way going to ikeja. He jumped in and started lamenting

R: I for don dey on my way home now but VIO arrested my bolt car, I was begging and the office was calm but did bolt driver was just shouting and insulting them
Me: what was is offense
R: small crack on his windscreen
Me: is it obvious from outside
R: yes but d driver didn’t try at all he messed everything up, las las they are taking him to their office.
... bros Abeg dis traffic long ?
Me: 1hr 7mins ( I no get strength again but Na surge.
R: okay I for don beat dis traffic ooh, msheeeww
Silence for like 20mins ***
R: Bros dis traffic no move
Me: it’s now 1hr 12mins to destination, maybe you should end trip and go tomorrow it’s getting late (me wan close too traffic thick)
R: hmmm but my money go dey increase ?
Me: yes very well, we can end it here and you go early tomorrow (was echoing go home)

Fast forward to police post
Gbam police stopped us, checked his phone ...
Police: driver, driver to d station
Rider: Oga Abeg make we settle for here
Police : I will settle with u but Na road be dis, lets go to station
Me: (deaf n dumb)
Police: Oga u no wan move dis car ?
Me: Abeg Oga make him settle u here make we dey go
Rider: make I transfer to u here
Police: u are very stupid, I don’t have account number.
Driver move dis car from here
... other officers joined move dis car bla bla , started car and was about to park dem so nooo
Long and short we got to station gate
1st officer (back seat with rider) drive inside station
Rider: oga please sir, I say I go withdraw from Atm give you
Me: ( I just did u-turn back to Road, officer got mad)
2nd officer (infront with me): driver u no wan cooperate with us.
Me: Oga, d guy dey beg u why u want make we enter station. ( for my mind Na my car u arrest ?)
Last last dem carry d guy enter station with leg. I dey outside and realized guy man dropped his bag and one phone at the back seat.
Went to meet dem inside dem put d guy for back of counter.
Me enter dey press phone Na so dem pursue me.
Police: Uber dem no dey press phone for here, end u trip collect ur money.
Rider: chairman pls no end trip help me beg dem.

Long story short rider went to withdraw money at POS e no do, I borrowed him 5k cash from my hand (as a millionaire driver)

Story long but morale of the story
1. Police are being careful to collect money or misbehave publicly. No allow dem carry u go corner
2. As driver don’t shake or go into any station with them before story go change.
3. Lastly follow ur mind... my mind tell me not to go ikeja by dt time, I do strong head.
Rider told me after dem release am dt I said it 3times “go home and go early tomorrow “ say I be spirit man
Follow ur inner spirit

Supposing the policemen had asked you about LASDRI or hackney permit, how would you have tackled it?

Good Morning Ma'am,

Thinking about doing a thorough check on my car. This is my first time booking an appointment with your guys as i just got to know about them. Hopefully, they get to sort my car out.

I'm currently trying to booking an appointment with your team to help do some checks on my Honda Accord. I currently have my D drive sign blinking. I understand this has to do with my transmission so I am hoping to do a scan to know the exact problem and from there switch to the recommended DW1.

But the part where I am to fill in my number keep saying the number that I entered is invalid.

The format that I am using is => +234-000-000-0000

Please, how do I resolve this to successfully make a booking?
