Eddee: Couple of units in stock actually and some other options including Schrader we can bring in. Search part numbers SE10004A and SE57773. Both in stock and both pre-programmed. To see other options, enter your car, go to Catalog and enter "tpms" search bar then select Sensor from the options that come up. |

radautoworks: No need to go throught that long route ma. Please tell me which one you’d recommend between the both, so that I can quickly mail your folks. They can even add it with the gas cap sef. Also I just noticed I missed their last mail confirming the availability of a certain weight i needed, initial mail suggested they’ve run out of stock. I’d love to confirm it is still “oiltober” - did I coin that well? |

Eddee: Do this one http://weblink.carquest.com/acl/?mfgName=TPS&partNumber=SE10004A If you need to exchange (which I doubt) not a problem. Yes, oil-tober extended till the 15th. |

New shipment of drive belts just arrived. When serpentine belts break they can also flap around and cause A LOT of damage to the engine. Stop buying poor quality belts when good ones with warranties are available for N5,000 up .

After about two years of trial and error with various Nigerian courier services including some of the "big boys"(some of which we talked about on NL), we figured out that it was best for us to go with one of the "BIG THREE". We have been doing this for about six months and we no longer need to use sea freight and experience the lowest air freight rates possible into Nigeria. We have had no missing shipments, can track our shipments 24/7 and experienced top notch customer service. As a result we have decided to offer our customers the same experience. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHIP BY AIR HASSLE-FREE INTO NIGERIA WE ARE HERE FOR YOU. As with everything we do, there will be full transparency. You will not have to wait for anyone else to ship, you will have your own tracking number to pull anytime you like, you won't have to deal with CLEARING (!!) and there will be no surprise charges. All prices listed are Door to Door unless you choose to save money by consolidating with one of our shipments. Which brings me to... If you want to get our cheapest possible rates even with a small package and are willing to wait longer, we can add it to one of our bulk freight shipments. Contact logistics@radautoworks with shipment dimesnions and details for more information. SOUNDS GREAT BUT HOW DO YOU DETERMINE WHAT YOU WILL CHARGE FOR MY SHIPMENT? Quite simple. It's based on the actual weight or "dimension weight" if the dimension weight is higher. Dimension weight is calculated by length times weight times height divided by 166 (shippers usually use 139 so we save you a LOT of money here). Example 1 I want to ship a package that weighs 9 lbs and is 15inches*10inches*10inches. Actual weight= 9 lbs Dimm weight =15*10*10/166= 9.04lbs You will be charged for 9 lbs. Example 2 I want to ship a package that weighs 9 lbs and is 20 inches*10inches*10inches Actual weight= 9 lbs Dimm weight =20*10*10/166= 12.05lbs You will be charged for 12 lbs. Moral of the story, if you have something light but large, CONSOLIDATE IT WITH ONE OF OUR SHIPMENTS. If you have something small and heavy, just ship it using our regular service. You will get the cheapest rate possible and not need to have a doctorate in mathematics OH, AND I SHOULD ADD THAT THE RATES ARE THE SAME TO MOST OF AFRICA 1 Like

Re: Where Do Rad Auto Works Parts Come From Anyway? by emmyN(m): 11:16pm On Jan 31, 2021 |
radautoworks: Hi ma'am. So I did my first scan and it returned with these malfunction codes on car. It's a toyota sienna, first gen without VVT-i: P0300 - Random/multiple misfire P0301 - Cylinder 1 misfire P0303 - Cylinder 3 misfire P0773 - Shift solenoid E electrical P1780 - Park/neutral position switch fault Seems a lot. But I'm trying to see if I can get these issues addressed myself, so I've been seeing a lot of YouTube videos. Resolving cylinder misfires, I'm banking on changing the spark plugs as the proper resolution. I get this continuous popping sound coming from engine when car runs, making it sound like one of those old diesel plants . Then there is poor acceleration and power for the car. Though the position of these plugs are hideous, but I'm looking to see if I can get them out without having to take off the intake manifold and all those gizmos. For P1780, I'm not really sure, but I only get it's symptom when shifting to reverse from N or P but not always. I would appreciate pointers here. I'm more concerned about the shift solenoid E electrical fault. Transmission slips, so I'm careful about changing the fluid. Though it still has that golden brown colour, so this may not be the case of dirty fluid. My problem now is locating the shift solenoid E for this car. It's supposed to be behind the park/neutral position switch, at least from a youtube video I saw with a Camry (couldn't find any for first gen sienna), but it's not there. Could it be inside the transmission itself? Sorry for the long post. I wanna become a mechanic . |
Re: Where Do Rad Auto Works Parts Come From Anyway? by radautoworks: 1:41pm On Feb 01, 2021 |
emmyN: You need to clean the fuel tank and filter on the fuel pump along with changing the plugs , as for the transmission it's electrical issues the shift selenoid E should be on the valve body. DM me for further help if necessary. I'm being stingy with the "gurus" |
Re: Where Do Rad Auto Works Parts Come From Anyway? by emmyN(m): 11:05pm On Feb 01, 2021 |
radautoworks: Wow wow wow . You pointed in the right direction. I do have electrical issues with this car, and it's plausible that the fuel tank as well as filter are dirty. Changed fuel pump in not too distant past. I'll check around the valve body if I can find the solenoid and revert inbox if I need further pointers. Thank you so much. 1 Like |

Good Morning Ma'am, Thinking about doing a thorough check on my car. This is my first time booking an appointment with your guys as i just got to know about them. Hopefully, they get to sort my car out. I'm currently trying to booking an appointment with your team to help do some checks on my Honda Accord. I currently have my D drive sign blinking. I understand this has to do with my transmission so I am hoping to do a scan to know the exact problem and from there switch to the recommended DW1. But the part where I am to fill in my number keep saying the number that I entered is invalid. The format that I am using is => +234-000-000-0000 Please, how do I resolve this to successfully make a booking? |
