True my brother but the Love mentioned here isn't the kinda Love mentioned in Ecclesiastes 3. That kinda Love is a condition based love not the one mentioned in 1 Corinthians 13:1-8. The God kind of Love mentioned here is an Unconditional one and isn't predicated on time otherwise God who love us unconditionally would have had to hate us at one point. The only instance where God will leave a person alone is when He tries to reach the person to make him or her
His vessel is when the person refuse to embrace the Gospel. That's where God leaves the person alone aside this instance God's unconditional love is constant always

I Corinthians 13 does not say that love is unconditional. Infact it is even laying down the conditions of love if you examine it

The place you experience this kinda Love is in the place of Forgiveness
When you really forgive someone, you're expressing real Love.
It ain't easy
It's strange but it's possible.
Even me writing this struggle with expressing it but I'm relying on God's Grace to help me walk in this kinda Love daily.

Love and forgiveness are not the same thing. For if there is love there no forgiveness because the parties in the love relationship do not do anything that would require forgiveness.

And no where did 1 Corinthians 13 say that love is unconditional. So you are also promoting the same doctrine the world teaches

I'm writing this post because we've been mislead and misguided on what Love - Real Love - is.

We've bought into the notion that Love has to be a give and take affair so when the other party ain't doing any of these, we forget the person.

I wanna share with you a passage of Scripture from the book of 1 Corinthians the 13th Chapter..

If you noticed Apostle Paul first of all listed righteous acts that are meaningless if Love isn't the motive behind it and these are listed in the first three verses before defining what real love is.

Truth is the kinda Love defined here isn't the give and take kind e pressed by fellow humans today. A love that is Self driven instead of Others driven.

Real Love is hard to express because Man by nature is Selfish. So fir a man to express this kinda Love quoted here, He or she has to have a new nature at work in him or her. This nature is Righteousness which is the nature Jesus exemplified that made Him lay down His Royalty to grovel in the dirt of Sin so that He can reconcile us to God and so that we can enjoy once again the fellowship we had before the Fall.

Lemme stop here for now and leave room for the input of others.

Paul is just showing you how God's Love is and has been and if the conditions are right, then I add how it can be.

However humans love ranges from selfish to the other extreme of overloving a person or thing that does not want your love.

However, every reasonable person can see that if and when love is not reciprocated, it will die, turn cold or even move to hate.
