Christianity Etc › Re: What If Certainty Is The Biggest Barrier To Truth? by Dtruthspeaker: 5:46am On Aug 26
LordReed:
In principle I agree but what I find is some seize these words to validate their positions which are demonstrably untrue.

I just wish there was a better way to express this.
If he had stuck to this point and Truth of "There are levels to truth
But not all levels cancel each other out." he would have been right for they are True.

But he made the mistake of trying to say that "Certainty Is a Barrier To Truth" and that is a Big Lie.

So, someone should come and explain how you say Real Madrid (Job) is the best football team yet, you won't let them play football to prove it?
Christianity Etc › Re: Job: When Did Being Proud & Boastful Of Of A Person Become A Bad Thing? by Dtruthspeaker(op): 5:33am On Aug 26
And since God was very confident on job and about job is He not supposed to answer Satan's challenge?

If He did not answer the challenge, even you people will join satan to call God, "fear, fear!". So God had to answer the challenge
, which He did

And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.

And what was Satan's power?
We see the disasters that fell on job's farms, servants, sheeps and children, according to the rules of the competition.

Yet job did not cross into evil.
Christianity Etc › Re: Job: When Did Being Proud & Boastful Of Of A Person Become A Bad Thing? by Dtruthspeaker(op):
And then after that, satan replies exactly how opponents do "Rubbish you could say that since you haven't..."

Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side?.. meaning satan has tried several times to hit Job's house, himself and everything, yet he failed .

In case you don't have dictionary
Hedge - a means of protection.

So, how can anyone misunderstand this? Even satan did not misunderstand it, he just used it to raise a challenge and a competition.

And since when did challenge and competition become a bad thing?
Is it not by them that we know that a person is Truly the best?

Everyday, someone is always boasting about somebody they know who they esteem very highly that they brag about them happily.

For example someone says "have you seen Messi that he is the greatest footballer?"

Rubbish he could say that since he hasn't played against Ronaldo.

For me Ronaldo is the greatest footballer of all time
Quote Report 116 Likes Like 10 Shares Share

Same thing for Tupac vs Biggie, Davido bs Whiz kid, etc

Everyday, boasting takes place yet people find it difficult understanding Job. How is this even possible?

Are these not the same thing people say everyday?

And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

In case you don't have a dictionary eschew
/ɪsˈtʃuː/ -Eschew is a formal verb that means to deliberately avoid, abstain from, or shun something

If job eschews evil as God's servant does it not mean that God also eschews evil too?

And does this statement not prove that God is very proud of Job for eschewing evil?

I am an atheist and I still care that people are deceived for the selfish gain of a few previleged spiritual leaders..When you get liberated you must fight to liberate others...we exist not for ourselves but for others.
If you Truly cared for people then you would have seen the Truth that people never do something for free. That is like satan told job, "is it for nought?". So, those people going to those places losing their monies know what they are getting in return.

But you people are only complaining about those pastoprenuers because you are jealous of them that they are getting rich whilst you guys are still poor. And that is just the first reason. So, it is not that you care for them.

Travel › Asaba/warri Gridlock: Can They Not Clear The Grasses And Bush To Make Road? by Dtruthspeaker(op): 9:03pm On Aug 25
Glowry to God, i just finished passing that Agbor Benin Road a few days before it got blocked. And, truly i saw the beginning of this issue as the holes were too deep for even trailers and tankers, not to talk of we small SUVs. So everybody including trailers were struggling for the narrow places one could put tyres on.

So, now I am sure those places have collapsed such that no one can pass again. Or a trailer has gotten hooked on it.

And on that stretch there are even 2 bad gridlockable spots. One before the goodbye/welcome to delta State from Asaba (i think) and the second one near Benin bypass

But the question i kept pondering is why don't the villages there clear a path for at least small vehicles to bypass the damaged area? They can even take a token from the drivers.

If they do this, at least the grid may begin to unlock.

E kon be like say i go put cutlass and shovel for moto when I dey travel

Guy,
What the fukk are you trying to do. I am a student of the fukking bible. I know that shitt in and out. In fact I am sure I know that bible more than you!

How do you reconcile your crazeed god leaving satan alone as his friend and killing all Job's gaddem family? How does a rational human being justify such insanity?

Now I got that off my chest. The mod is free to weild his stick and ban me.
Naa you go tired!!!😄😄

Just imagine a god seeing satan and instead of destroying him he is playing betnaija with innocent Job's life with the same satan. Make that shiit make any rational sense??!!
So, first you have shifted post from you wrongly accusing God to you asking for justification/explanation of His action on Job. Which means that you know that you just spoke very phu kilishi.

Secondly, by your statements, you yourself agree and have conceded that that satan is the bad and evil person who does only evil. Point 1 for God.

Therefore, anyone including God who has done any good thing big or small is already better than Satan. That is point 2 for God.

Now to your unintelligent question.
Which parent or boss who is proud of their children or worker does not say Hast thou considered my servant/son Job,Okey,Tunde that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, (good and hardworking) one that feareth God, and escheweth (drunkenness, womanising, wasteful)/, evil?

Though I don't believe a single word in the Christian Bible, it is apparent that the devil is being unfairly accused because the god of the bible is a more evil, egotistic, narcissistic, misogynistic and murderous, bloodthirsty being than the devil.
And to top it up Satan and the god of the bible are good pals playing kalokalo and cashie with people's life's. (JOB chapter 2 verses 1-7)
This is the definition of concentrated bias for you to see job 2 and not see what God Said to Satan in Job 1.

If job eschews evil as God's servant does it not mean that God eschews evil too?

Then satan answers
Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side?.. meaning satan has tried several times to hit Job's house, himself and everything?

Hedge - a means of protection

And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.

And what was Satan's power?
We see the disasters that fell on job's farms, servants, sheeps and children. Yet job did not cross into evil.

Then job 2 you see the words of God Saying
and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

And what was the movement satan caused God to do?
"But put forth thine hand now" - meaning for God to remove His Hand and hedge from Job. And that was all God did and then satan did the evil he desired to do.

So for calling God evil wrongly, everything that happened to Job in Job 1 and 2 shall happen to you all your life in Jesus Name.

Obogidi:
What If the Devil Is Not Completely Wrong?

We have been taught from childhood that the Devil is the ultimate villain and that God represents everything good. But what if we paused for a moment and asked a different question: What if we have never heard the Devil's side of the story?

Imagine the Devil as someone who believes that the system governing the world is unjust. He looks at poverty, war, disease, corruption, hunger, and innocent people suffering for circumstances they never chose. Perhaps he asks, “If this world is governed by an all-powerful and all-good God, why is there so much suffering?”

From that perspective, the Devil might believe that he is fighting against a system he considers unfair. Humanity, however, only knows him through the traditional story in which he is the rebel, tempter, and villain.

This is somewhat similar to Thanos in Avengers. Thanos genuinely believed that the universe had a serious problem: limited resources and unlimited growth. His diagnosis had some logic, but his solution was horrifying. He wanted to eliminate half of all life.

That raises an important moral question: Can someone identify a real problem while still being completely wrong about how to solve it?

Perhaps that is how we should approach the idea of the Devil.

Maybe the question isn't simply, “Is the Devil evil?” Maybe we should also ask, “What exactly was he fighting against?”

Of course, this doesn't prove that the Devil is morally right. We don't actually possess independent evidence that his traditional story is incomplete. But as a philosophical thought experiment, it challenges us to examine the assumptions behind the stories we inherit.

After all, history is often written from the perspective of the victorious.

So what if the Devil's greatest argument isn't that evil is good?

What if his argument is that the world itself contains contradictions that deserve to be questioned?

And perhaps the most uncomfortable question of all is this:

What if the Devil was wrong about the solution—but right that something was wrong with the system?
Don't be a nzuzu.
Was there poorverty, corruption, war, hunger etc when God finished creating the world before Satan came?
No

If someone comes in to your house and things start getting missing and destroyed is it not the person you suspect?
