shey you expect Ole to enter the brains of Fred, AWB and Maguire to enable them release the ball on time or to stop them from dancing on the field. AWB will need to improve alot for him to fit the system we are playing. Yes, he is a good defender. but he is a liability during build up as he is susceptible to pressing and his ball progression is very poor. When he gets the ball he usually passes it to Pogba or Baily instead of the forward option to Bruno or Greenwood.

In as much as the players are bang average,there are things like attacking drills,off the ball movements,stuff that you can see was practiced on the training ground..we should stop giving excuses for this manager..

It's very obvious that when we attack Fred drops between the two CBs to form a back 3, the two fullbacks push forward while the LW and RW move inside to occupy the middle to enable us break the low block.

We are having issues with moving the ball fast and the final pass to the attackers. Martial have miscontrolled couple of good passes and Bruno misplaced some passes. Hope you guys know that it is very hot in Germany at the moment which is why I suspect we are not pressing effectively.

City was always going to dominate this match, that was expected. City were better throughout the match, and Pep was probably tactically superior. However, at the end of the day, what decided the match wasn't those things but the very avoidable errors Varane made[b]. Maybe Varane was targeted, we will never know[/b]

That's true tho..really liked the high press of city..if there's one thing that's certain,slow midfield is fading out..midfielder need to be mobile..that's why I feel we would suffer with a pogba matic combo against tactically mobile midfielders
