Penny dreadful city of Angels episode 4 is top notch.

I love how they are building up the story line and now that the dis is cast, it's call for war again and brutality and spirituality.

The great acting of the casts are top notch professionalism, they were born for the roles they have been given.

Not many people still get the concept of the series even after four episodes.

You need to really understand episodes one to know what the series is really all about (the spiritual side)

Without fully understanding episode one and grasping all the dialogues (I recommend you use a substitle)

Without episode one, you will be lost.

From the very first episode,I loved it,I've said it on this thread that Natalie dormers performance in different roles there is top notch.. I'm really enjoying it

True villanelle is the one carrying the show now..I've watched season 1 and 2..its 3 I'm waiting for to finish before I binge watch..series like killing eve is best enjoyed at once

Lmao I've downloaded killing eve,I'm just waiting for it to finish before I binge watch it,like a poster said above,penny dreadful city of angels is really really good..a quality show..I still opine that more than 50% of people who like game of thrones don't even appreciate the series well,its just the action that sways their mind,GOT is all about th[b]e plotting and " boring conversations".[/b].that's where the real quality lies

Is this a horror series or a historical drama?

This series cannot be compared with the original penny dreadful! The original penny dreadful was dark and haunting- it had atmosphere, so much that even during the romantic scenes, you felt something evil was coming next. The Victorian gothic setting and misery surrounding it gave the original penny dreadful a sombre aura.

This new penny dreadful seems disjointed. A whole episode and no horror, just drama and romance. However, the acting is top notch. Natalie Dormer and Kerry Bishe are doing well

I think this penny dreadful city of angels is deviating from your usual horror..you could say historical drama with a bit of the supernatural..Natalie dormer is really a gem..

I think Natalie former is a terrific actress from Anne boelyn to queen Margery to this role in pennd dreadful..she has brought the show to light

Besides the girl who played young Kerry Washington in little fires everywhere was widely praised for her performance in replicating that singular facial expression that seems to bug the lot of you.

My issue wasn't with her facial expressions,but her character was giving me that emotional scandal vibes again,I just had to drop it abeg..I'm sure it would be a good watch for some people but I didn't just want unnecessary drama

Sadly, this is so true. I checked it last night, twas bloodly about Kerry Washington and her singular emotional face used in Scandal and this new series.

I started the series,at the 2nd episode, she started giving off that scandal vibes again,I just dropped d show immediately

OZ is the better show by a stretch

The comparison was made in the context of prison themed shows..as oz is the best male prison show,Wentworth is the best female prison show .

It think i agree with you bro... already in season 2 ep 7 of breaking bad and it's still feels boring...always revolving around the same theme and all, they'll waste a whole episode on issues that could have been resolved in 15mins.. honestly..Ozark is more direct and thrilling, gets you glued to the chair quickly...

I really hate slow burners coz watching movies is stressful on it's own now watching something with no excitement... I'm not sure I'll be moving on with breaking bad o. .
