As per the bolded, it was Ole that recommended that VDB be signed not me so what did he see in VDB to have ask the board to sign him?

This is my main issue..ole allegedly called him personally to convince him of joining,that we knows his strengths and would utilize it.I had my doubts about his signing cos I didn't feel ole had the system to help him flourish.

I watched VDB playing with De Jong, Ziyech, Blind and others at Ajax and he did not look timid. That Ajax team was renowned for their crisp passing and movement, something we collectively lack as a team.

It was very frustrating to watch,at least Fred has the idea of The pass, just that he lacks the ability to give it..if we had a carrick type of player in that matic role,vdb would be eating good,those vertical passes easily takes out 2 or more midfieders out of the game.

One thing people should know about vdb is that he is a proper product of TOTAL FOOTBALL, that ajax academy teaches their players basically all key positions and roles in football, especially for midfielders,they are above average in finding and giving passes.

Now anytime vdb plays and either of Fred/matic holds the ball,vdb ALWAYS positions himself in between passing lanes,he puts himself in a position where the passer of the ball should be forced to make a vertical splitting pass,the basic problem of that our midfield is that its not really drilled well tactically..its basically individual brilliance that helps us..our players are too immobile that's why its also affecting vdb.now ogs supposedly called vdb and convinced him to join knowing his strengths, he's not a player to always hold on to the ball and dribble,he's the player that needs players around him with a similar level of football intelligence.. Now whether we like it or not,ogs doesn't really have a sound tactical setup to help players like this..
An average Spanish coach would do better with him..I'm just saying that he shouldn't be written off immediately, hopefully once we get a better manager,his qualities would show.

Mehn.. Underrated is an understatement I believe.

There has to be a reason this show isn't making waves.

The first time I saw the trailer, I wasn't interested, to be honest.

It looked too American and I hate shows that look too American.

Secondly, I wasn't seeing gods blast out energy and fireballs in the trailer.

And I was like, what the hell am I going to watch?

Well, I started watching the show two days ago and I got hooked.

I'm already done with season 2, onto season 3 lol.

The show is a conscious show about what humans of nowadays dedicate their time to.thereby making thselves selves servants of..the show is so so deep and good

This FPL is really a game of skill and guts,salah was always going to be the most capped player this gw,then Bruno goes on to do a madness, for those trying to make up on lost ground,this was a perfect gw for upside chasing but we fumbled it.

Sometimes herd mentality isn't good.just hoping that salah at least doesn't blank today,or maybe he could have stomach upset today and miss out totally,Bruno is my VC

I also didn't like that ms world,she just didn't cut it for me,maybe its because we are already used to Mr world.
And as for the old gods being weak,its only logical.they draw their strength from worshippers ,so the fact that their worshippers are reducing,their influence and power too has to diminish..this last episode tried on the expose of yourba gods and culture

This season has been really testing for managers who often play the long game,one just has to adapt to this season,seems like its the season for casuals, I notice they are doing really well..was around 4m OR as at gw 16,but have moved up to 800k,right now is where the seasoned players would be separated from the rest,like ibime would always say,its a marathon not sprint..

There's a fan theory that Neil is actually max besides Nolan gave an interview about the character Neil that it might not be his real name.

The Undoing is better abeg. Defending Jacob was dry, the court sessions(I have never seen that kind of court sessions before) was bland, no excitement, lifeless.

But then,even before the reveal in this undoing episode,I was having a feeling that the son was guilt of commuting the crime,maybe because I just finished watching defending Jacob.its very possible that the dad would find out and would want to accept he commited the crime to save his son..that's my guess tho

Dexter really should have ended at season 4. It was honestly never the same after season 4.

The Season 4 finale had what I consider to be one of the greatest and shocking television episodes of all time. It would have been the perfect ending but they just had to milk more from the series. I loved dexter's actor and his narration. Season 1, 2 and 4 were just incredible.

Season 8 of dexter is up there with season 8 of GOT as one the worst last seasons of a previously great show.


Hannibal how ever is a different beast. It was a whole other experience. I remember the first time i watched it. I used to have visions/nightmares of each episode in season 1.

The classical music was exceptional, I loved will Graham's 'this is my design' phrase. I loved will graham's visions of murder, that was actually my favourite part of the show. Mads mikkelson really killed it as hannibal in that series. Imagine another actor outshining a role that a GOAT like Anthony hopkins made his bitch.

I loved mads mikkelson accent and witty replies. There was a lot of dark humor in the series. The food that hannibal cooked were so beautiful even tho it was human meat. That's why I said hannibal is a completely different kind of beast to dexter(I can't say which one had a better prime). It's an aesthetic/artistic masterpiece. Unfortunately season 3 wasn't as great as 1 and 2.

Hannibal was as good as anything close to perfect could be,the dialogues,the music like you said was just divine,I especially loved those sessions with Dr Alana bloom..omo its bringing back memories,watched it like 7 years ago..might even go and rewatch it again..
The way it ended self couldn't have been better,literally a cliffhanger

Do you think I should continue with Hannibal? I have watched it until the 7th episode. I really don't fancy one episode one villain kinda series. Although Hannibal seems to have one ultimate villain but this doesn't even help my feelings cause the guy himself is confusing, first he is a mimic of Hobbs now he is the reaper?. Maybe I should manage and watch season 1 to the end. But I don't agree it's one of a kind yet.

I will check mind hunter..hope it isn't one episode one villain kinda series though? I like my series to tell a story just like Bates motel and You.

I would advise you try to finish at least the first season of Hannibal, since you fancy psychological thrillers like you and bates motel, Hannibal is in that range also,if not better self with a very perfect ending.

Mindhunter deals with different villains sort of,but it still has that general premise of delving into the minds of serial killers..if youre interested in the psyche on how they think,then its perfect

I miss You and Bates Motel. I searched google for any similar series until I came across Hannibal with some good reviews unfortunately, It feels like dropping drastically to a 2 from a 10. The whole season 1 is crappy (my feel)

Hannibal is one of a kind,pity you didn't vibe with it,definitely my best in that particular genre,watch mindhunter..its equally very very good..a slow burner though,but its quality
