On the above subject matter please do not ever think of buying HP Pavilion, I just got to HP office this morning and I was told they do not support it here in Nigeria. I am currently working on an animation project, it may take like 3 yrs to complete. And I am interested in your views. It is a super hero kind of story, not science fiction, a lil traditional , action pack and the guy is an anti cult. I totally agree with kobojunkie the real issue why Nigeria has never suceceded at anything but certificates!
Look if you want to be an animator, a 3d animator, go to places on the net like www.3dtotal.com, www.cgfocus.com, www.cgtalk.com. I would rather mail Brad Bird (director Incredibles) than pay my hard earned money to a firm that printed out help files to teach me. Animation is art not academics the more of it you practice the better you become. I have been doing that for the past 7 years and men it works.
