Instead of finishing off the Russian army that is apparently lost 112,500 soldiers this year while Ukraine is only lost around 8,000 he's calling for a ceasefire.
Maybe the Ukrainian army is not recapturing territory for the same reason because they feel sorry for the Russian army that is already getting beat up with 14:1 casualty ratio.
