Because the displays plays its own roles too when it comes to battery consumption(read about amoled), and its beauty(display) too. See, Samsung devices are cool, you get a better resale value(to people who know much or little about phones).

iheartellah: Battery wise, I'll go for the 12pro although a friend of mine who uses the s7 edge said the battery is OK. The 12 pro might also have an edge in the camera department. But as for performance the s7 edge is your best bet. The review I watched of the 12 pro showed that it is not really good for gaming. Even the phantom 9 isn't good for gaming. You can consider going for one of the galaxy A series phones(i recommend the a20 or a30) or a xaiomi device(I recommend the note 5 pro or note 7).
