@dwayne111 This is a wide area can you narrow it down to a specific say Music production as in DAW, MIXING, SINGING, COMPOSING INSTRUMENTATION etc, I hope i got ur message right if not discard the options.

I love music too like playing aspect, i wish you well in your endeavour and Lagos really should be your destination, hang out with the industry makers even if it means erant boy but bear in mind your ultimate goal in 3 to 5 years to come and let your talent pave way for the right connection

Car mechanic ke? Like some musicians, some car mechanics too are a menace to car engines.

If he likes music production, let him try his hand there. After all, there too many trades out there, someone must fill the space.. (even if they're useless like some so-called handworker men. Example is a tailor that almost made this ancestor shed tears, even laundryman made me fuming like an angry bull for mumu work)

the funniest part is that, I'm not jobless, cos i can make anything out of dough(flour) This is just me trying to pursue my dream in the world of showbiz even if i don't end up as a popular musician(which is my secondary target) at least, i'll have some thing i can fall back to and will make me relevant in the entertainment world.

Plan to satisfy yourself & your God. Be patient to get all the info you need, correctly & accurately before leaving to Lagos else you may regret your decision moving to Lagos for career pursuit.

Well, I'm not jobless, and i'm going into the mussic industry cos of my passion for it,
Btw, I'm a multi talented person, I'm a song writter, singer, dancer( i once had a group of dancers), stunter, very good in acting, can also double as a comedian, a fitness model and very good in presenting...see, i don't think i can do anything aside showbiz.. so kick starting my career as a music producer i believe will catapult me into that lime light.

First, you should be able to play the Piano already. If you are yet to, go and learn that first before you ask this question. The piano or keyboard is the main instrument you must understand before you can learn production. If you have that skill, the other things you need to learn will be easy for you.

Honestly, piano and guitar is are the instruments I've been looking to learn since childhood, but you know, hustling and bustling never gave me the chance yet, but I'm a very fast learner( In everything).

Just get a PC and install Fruity Loops and any other plugins you can find. Fiddle with them until you master it. After you can make basic beats that's the time to start looking for a bigger studio to attach yourself to and upgrade your production, mixing & mastering skills.


PS: If you cannot master it on your own then you cannot learn it under paid internship and you will just waste your money.

Music production is an innate gift just like singing or playing football or musical instruments. You either have it or you don't.
