It is people who have never had the money to invest that always tell people to invest in this Nigeria. The country favours salary earners by default. I'm presently confused how to free myself from "investment" in this country of well well over that 4m. The only way out is to make the business international and that's why I'm here.

As I've tried to tell nairaland members, there are no saints in this country. The politicians only get the bad rap.

When I was trying to be involved in doing things for this country, I met him Utomi. He was a pleasant man, but I was not there to see who was nice to me. I ultimately concluded, along with all the others in the who-know-whos in Nigeria that its all hustling. No one is in there for the betterment of Nigeria and the reputation of the black man in the world. I withdrew, to come on nairaland here to be taking insults from the nondescript ordinary people, rather than join in on the rape of Nigeria under false pretenses.

This is why I listen to politicians also, even though they are crooks. Almost all Nigerians are potential crooks if given the chance, so why should I believe the one that presents themselves as saints against those who have accepted the toga of being crooks? They're far more honest.

Tinubu's bad policies implementions aside, at least for the first time since 1960, we have a brave president who has the political will, muscle, and clout to repurpose our economy. And if he and the APC had allowed GEJ the weakling remove the subsidy in 2011, we would have moved past this pain - Tinubu has a share of this blame too.

There's no going back from here, inshallah. The economy must be rejigged, no matter how pain and strenuous the process may be. History will remember Tinubu for not taking the easy route of padding our economy.

The country using 96% of our revenue to service loan; shouldn't that be a concern for any right thinking citizen? He should have been the person to lay our economic blueprint and like I've said, he took the easy route and avoided the hard work.

What happens to your business when 100% of the money you make per month is used to repay loans and the situation is even worse that you are still sourcing for more loans to make your business stay afloat? If you can't answer that, keep shut whenever the Nigeria economy is being discussed.
