Understand this: these people are holding the Nigerian people hostage so that they can continue to make the money they were making from 'subsidy'. Dangote could have sold the petrol for a much better price and these people's lives will be over. So they decide to strongarm Dangote to sell to specific people so that they can continue to control the price. And now what they're telling you is that if you want the price to come down, government must continue to pay them the subsidy money they've been consuming all along. For some people to survive and thrive, NIGERIA MUST CONTINUE TO BE A FAILED STATE. GET IT? |
oloriooko:This has been my life message to Nigerians including the big men I've talked to. That's why you only hear of me on nairaland. This country is exactly where the society wants it to be. It is a tragedy for me to be a Nigerian. As I've coined it over a decade ago: "THE PROBLEM WITH NIGERIA IS THE NIGERIAN PEOPLE THEMSELVES, A FEW OF WHOM ARE IN GOVERNMENT FOR A BRIEF PERIOD. THEIR ATTITUDES, WORLDVIEW AND BELIEF SYSTEM ARE SUCH AS TO CREATE A FAILED STATE", and that's what we have. I'm hiding under a rock, trying my best not to interact with any Nigerian. It would be my dream to have an alternative country of residence, but every single country in the world hates Nigerians. But of course, according to Nigerians it is because we are too successful and they're jealousy. Yea, that can only come from a proud member of a failed state. I only laugh at our people now. I'm no longer interested in bettering the country. They've stolen my life already |

There is only one education, not "Western" education as people in the Muslim part of Northern Nigeria have become used to calling it. All the others are indoctrination. I don't know which verse in their religious book will teach you how to wire a house or how to read about space. Although I hear they said they split the moon into two and some prophet rode a horse in the sky. Indoctrination teaches you how to believe any trash you're told and education teaches you how to do real things. The difference is practical. The nations with proper education provided the modern world we are all enjoying today; those with indoctrination only are the ones blaming their abject failure on those who are progressing |
Nigeria -- a nation of middlemen whose only effect is to make things more expensive for the end buyer, estate agents, car sales agents, land purchase agents, now petrol selling agents. A middle man is an unproductive person who wants to feed off both producer and consumer |
UK na country again? The place that savages from Third World countries have destroyed. Waste of money for any mumu who tries |
tuoyo9729:I only sell my phones for money. 6 pro is 250k last because of screen imperfection (ink and flicker at low low brightness). The ink has become a little bigger than in that picture. Otherwise like new. I just needed the screen of the Note 10+ to replace mine. It is presently being replaced by S20+ for temporary use.

Buy a tablet. Peripherals like mouse and keyboard can be added. I really don't know why people still use laptops. My laptops have developed issues from lack of use/no sales. How will I use them when I can just lay on my bed and carry a phone with a processor faster than the laptops I have and memory 2x the one in the laptop; and I can easily get 6 or more hours nonstop using it and can recharge back in one hour. I really want to sell off the tablets and laptops I bought so I can be free from their stress |
tuoyo9729:I'm interested. What phones do you want to swap with? I have many lower phones and pixel 6 Pro with imperfect screen. I broke my screen of this Note 10+ with many pics and info in there and fingerprint lock that I can't see to unlock. I sell phones, so it's just one of the three I used permanently. Been redundant for a few months now |

In 2024! Lol. Kai, Nigeria. So we want to resurrect Buhari 1984 system. People will be angry about what I said because of their level, but the people running the country? With all their never ending paper they gave them after wasting their time in all manner of silly institutions? I thought at the very least they would know juuuuust a little better. But no -- they're all brutes together. Nigeria is a joke |
I also repeat: in sufficient numbers Nigerians will remake their failed country in any country they are allowed to stay in. The only difference with Islamists is that one is religious, the other is not. They will both destroy anywhere they're allowed in in sufficient numbers. |
I repeat: these clowns have no clue how nations develop or what constitute development. Just like their white elephant projects, they themselves are in government as the ultimate ego trip in Nigeria. Nigerians are the reason their country is a failed state. They are the ones who use natural selection to weed out the type of people who would help their society, and promote people like themselves -- from the earliest years. I KNOW! |
This Amazon Fire 5th generation Tablet has been on display here before. Now I want to clear it out for ₦20,000.

Nigeria is still a savage society of brutes. No amount of PhD will change that upbringing. The vast majority of Nigerians are either born in these bush towns and villages in these godforsaken states in the hinterland, or are first generation born in proper parts of Lagos, Abuja and maybe Port Harcourt and the few civilised patches in the North. I know what I'm talking about. It is when I started interacting as an adult with all these people that I understood my own upbringing placed me in a tiny minority as far as the whole Nigeria goes.

All of una wey neva receive biro from America or Europe are the ones blowing hot and cold here. After you shakara finish, show document till daikindonkon (aka thy kingdom come), receiver will still pay that moni. Unless he uses man-know-man to reduce it (if possible). Dem neva even hint him of NDLEA o. They will still do their own. I drag this matter 2 months, even the residency status of sender in America they ask and we provided. I was blowing hot and cold, attacking here and from USA. I use my social warrior status on twitter to fight the "injustice". All na story. Send it back? Ok, you will kukuma lose the whole thing in the labyrinth of Nigerian bureaucracy. So, if you have no experience, keep your opinion to yourself. One musician said in Yoruba "the people wey do pass you plenty gaan; wan yapa oo, aiye po gan". Lol. Abeg, please remember that anything you dey buy from abroad, people have gone through the stress to bring same in to sell in Nigeria. Patronize local and save everybody from ruin. Meanwhile, OP go pay that moni o |
FreeStuffsNG:And people are here in Nigeria, their businesses of selling these same items are failing because of no patronage. What do you think they would think of this person? The ones I also suffered customs/ndlea/courier wahala from in 2022, most of them are still unsold. |
Lol. Another rat don enter their trap. My dya, you will pay o. Check nairaland for those of us that have come before you. I think the last one was a few months ago. Mine was 2 years ago. The next one is loading right now as we speak. They will arrive on nairaland in a few months to make their own complaints. Na so life be… |
6 pages on, I've learnt very little from this thread. Hopefully some of the few sensible people left in this country who have experience will chime in. Honourable mention to 360Command and one or two others. Our people have no clue how they really are that other nations see and despise us as a result. It's all "jealously" that we're "successful". If you're all so successful, how come you're all a worldwide nuisance that can't stay in your country and make it a little better? Don't forget there are statistics that tell how the people of a country measure up against others, and it's not the country's GDP |
emmyluizzz:It is people who have never had the money to invest that always tell people to invest in this Nigeria. The country favours salary earners by default. I'm presently confused how to free myself from "investment" in this country of well well over that 4m. The only way out is to make the business international and that's why I'm here. As someone has said, no one likes Nigerians, but not for the so-called jealousy he espoused, but by the Nigerian attitude I always point out and for which I am hated |
As I've tried to tell nairaland members, there are no saints in this country. The politicians only get the bad rap. When I was trying to be involved in doing things for this country, I met him Utomi. He was a pleasant man, but I was not there to see who was nice to me. I ultimately concluded, along with all the others in the who-know-whos in Nigeria that its all hustling. No one is in there for the betterment of Nigeria and the reputation of the black man in the world. I withdrew, to come on nairaland here to be taking insults from the nondescript ordinary people, rather than join in on the rape of Nigeria under false pretenses. This is why I listen to politicians also, even though they are crooks. Almost all Nigerians are potential crooks if given the chance, so why should I believe the one that presents themselves as saints against those who have accepted the toga of being crooks? They're far more honest. Nigeria is a joke. Who no go no know |
francisisking:Wong guy to tell. I'm a seller. I have at least 10 Samsung phones your people want for next to free, just like on this thread; so I'm keeping them forever if necessary. At least one is over 3 years old. A battery swells for who no know road. Been there too though, but I'm not one of them again. My batteries can't swell. People, check out my own thread for phones and tablets (in case una think say I dey lie)https://www.nairaland.com/7255494/american-phones-tablets-sale-varying/5#131213710 |
The day your charging port will spoil The day your motherboard will kaput That is the day you will know that phone is not only about perfect display. Seller, keep ya tin or find someone to disassemble the thing for you and sell parts one-by-one. You might one day need one of the parts or you will easily sell one of the parts for the 10k and still have the rest. 10k! Kai, Nigeria. 10k = $6.30 which is not enough for transport for one day over there |
Keeping up with the Joneses don put this wretched fool into problem. That status he wants to enhance, even with no shit in his yansh, don backfire. You think a wealthy man will be making a fool of himself on the street because he lost a phone? I can bet you most wealthy people don't carry the latest phones unless they are specifically technophiles -- not all these brutes who will only make calls, take pictures in auto mode, and play games on them. The objective remains the *status* |
It's all a fight for resources. That is what politics in Nigeria is all about. That's why its a do-or-die affair. Nobody cares about anything in this failed state |
As I've often said, these people have no clue how nations make progress. They're just there because that's where the "big boys" are supposed to be on Nigeria -- in furtherance of their unique Nigerian penchant for megalomania. Having gotten in, they have to look for something to do, and so they come about all the farce because they're course in solving the actual problems their society faces |
