Instead of the group to call out people to protest against corruption in the civil service, they should start the protest and people will join them. |
Only people that sit at home and don't go out to protest condemn Lagos protesters for sharing food and drinks amongst themselves. To them you are not supposed to take food and drink along with you as you go out to protest. They expect people who go out to protest to raise playcard and chants EndSARS from morning till evening with empty stomach and bloodshot eyes. |
I believe the image below is the reason Cossy joined the EndSARS protest.

With this, it is safe to conclude that DSS does not want insecurity in the north to end? #EndDSS loading... |

He is among the arrested protesters that we are brokering to be released by the Nigerian police. He currently don't have access to his phone or laptop. |
I love pinhole camera. I guess it's time to upgrade my little sister's phone. She is a big fan of infinix hot phone. |
Yes the #EndSARS protest should be immediately followed by #RestructureNow peaceful protest. I'm looking forward to see a playcard that would read: RestructureNow or We Die Here Jack500:Stop that let's be reasonable in our struggle for a better Nigeria. During the Arab spring, Bahrain citizens came out in thousands to call for an end to the monarchy, what they got was gun shot of rubber bullets. Many of them were rushed to the hospital. The protest ended in failure. Their government got away with forceful dispersal of the protesters because the protesters demand was unreasonable. If we repeat the same thing here in Nigeria, like Sowore did, we will give the government just cause to unleash security agents on the protesters. But as long as our demand are reasonable like a call to end police brutality or a call to restructure the country, the government will not be able to use violence on the protesters and will be forced to listen to our demands. |
The lesson we can learn from this EndSARS protest is that, if we the youth come out in mass and persistently make reasonable demand of the government via peaceful protest, the government will not be able to ignore us for several reasons. The reason EndSARS protest could succeed is because the demands were reasonable, it was one that the biggest foreign celebrities could identify with without being ashamed. The next reasonable thing we can demand from the government via peaceful protest is #RestructureNow |
All these state 1st son on Nairaland, no be only 1st son una be, na 2nd son. See them above. |
Davido that denied EndSARS protesters two times inside police headquarters. |
Femi Adesina na APC lying machine. Wetin Buhari no talk, he go say he talk am. |
But why Nigerians nor dey like do nude protest? If na oyibo people, you go see some of the protesters go just naked themselves. |
Good, as long as it is not made up of the former members of SARS. #RestructureNow or we die here loading... |
Buhari must hear word by fire by force. |
EndSARS goes beyond disbandment of SARS unit. EndSARS means end police brutality. Until measures have been put in place to ensure police brutality never happen again, then SARS have not truly end. |
Wicked man. |
MOLOTOVcockTAIL:If disrespecting and insulting an elder statesman is what it means to have sense & liver, then I sorry for the youth of today. |

Good, we die here. The real protest I want to see is #RestructureNow protest that would continue until the country is restructured. |
If they never slap that girl, she no go get sense. |
Wike is wicked. |
The EndSARS protest must continue until measures are put in place to ensure an end to police brutality. The real protest I want to see is #RestructureNow protest that would continue until the country is restructured. |
The reason SARS officers didn't harass and extort people in the North but did so in the South is because the system was set up to make it be so. In the North SARS officers dare not harass Northerners because if they did and are reported, they will be thoroughly dealt with by the Nigerian Police force. Meanwhile if you report SARS officers act of harassment or extortion in the south, nothing will be done to that SARS officer. The next day they will go back to their work like nothing occurred. If you happened to have overwhelming evidence, that SARS officer will simply be transferred to another location. I'm sure I don't need to spell out the reasons why the system of Nigerian Police force was made to favor Northerners and disfavor Southerners in this Buhari regime. |
Real armed robbers waded their way into SARS unit and started extorting and robbing people in the guise of searching for yahoo boys and criminals. It came to the point that 50% of SARS officials were real armed robbers in uniform. Now if they no longer have the opportunity to rob people with uniform because SARS is scrapped and police is reformed, most of them will go and join or form arm robbery gang and rob people. But we say that it is better for these armed robbers that made 50% of SARS to come rob us without SARS uniform or ID, that way we will have the right to subjugated and arrest them (with the aid of the police). |
Buhari is undemocratic. |
bjtinz:What happened was that real armed robbers waded their way into SARS unit and started extorting and robbing innocent people in the guise of searching for yahoo boys. Today over 50% of SARS officials are armed robbers in uniform. If SARS is scrapped most of them will go and join or form arm robbery gang because they no longer have the opportunity to rob people in uniform. |
bolaino:My friend keep quiet. It not the jurisdiction of SARS to go after fraudsters. And shooting at someone because you suspect they are criminal is not something a policeman should do. |
