Just like you and others make baseless assumptions! Whenever, his team lose the ball he does not track back quick enough! You give your own analysis based on statistics, I give based on experience and observation. Many of you here do not watch football real time. Just heresay and fake stats. Facts! BannedLarge: This terem moffi goal drought could be a warning sign to Osimhen that it’s unnecessary transferring to another club so soon. It’s better his maximize his prime and become a Napoli legend before leaving instead of signing for another club and there’s no guarantee of performing What did you mean by moffi goal drought? After 3 games in a new environment? Every players aspire to move to bigger clubs, it is a risk what taking because this will double, triple or quadruple the player salary. Lorient is not club to stay for long if the player know his onion. Napoli is not in the class of Man U, chelsea, psg, Bayern, juve, Madrid, baca, man city. He should go there and play, earn money and become a legend. If the move did not work out, he will take a step backwards and try it again. Life is all about taking risk. People like you also advice him not not move to Napoli and spend more seasons in Lille because you are in doubt of is quality. |

TheSuperNerd: You are in the Zone My Top Man GoodJoe. Why do you think I highly rate and have talked about RDZ (Roberto De Zerbi) Football a couple times on this thread? It is partly because of what you are currently witnessing them exhibit vs Liverpool.
And the thing is with the right personnel, replicating it isn't that hard.
De Zerbi's Positional play system is kinda similar to Pep's but not entirely all the way down to tactics but the central ideas are similar.
In De Zerbi's system, he goes for Defenders who know their defensive duties but are also quite comfortable on the ball in the first phase of buildup plays and midfielders who are comfortable both in the first and second phases of buildup plays. He also plays with a "find the free man" concept. At each buildup phase, when the ball moves vertically, there is always that one player who takes up a position behind the opposition player who leads the press against the current ball holder.
This free man isn't paid attention to because he doesn't have the ball yet but why he is vital is because he is the guy who stays free to receive the ball after 2 passes from the current ball holder to his nearest teammate who then finds this "free man" in space who in turn transits the next phase of play Vertically. So much I can say on this. Been studying the man's system.
In the Super Eagles, we need bonafide 1st and 2nd phase midfielders but we mostly just have 1st phase midfielders with limited technical quality in the ball and in the vertical angle of buildups.
It is possible but we only have to pick the right personnel and Fortunately enough, we actually have them.
P.S: Brighton have signed another midfield talent that suits the RDZ system. Yasin Ayari from AIK, Sweden. Just 19. Keep an eye on him too. SNerd.. Just take up the SE coach already. You understand this game. No cap!!! It always a pleasure reading your submissions. |

komekn: First of all, if a player is not performing I STOP TALKING ABOUT them. That's football HERE and NOW.
The last time l talked about Onyedinma was over 5 seasons ago , so what's your point. With regards to Josh it's over season ago.
I don't start flogging a dead horse continuously over the past 8 years.
Please go and compare the career trajectory of Tega and Onyedinma to that of Nwakali please them tell me who you honestly think is better.
They say "Money talks, BS walks" Tega earns more than 10 a week what Nwakali earns and Onyedinma a mere 2/3 times.
Luton is in the playoffs in the Championship and although injury has plagued Onyedinma he is a key player for Luton.
Tega Onomah is a £30K+ a week bench warmer at Fulham and not playing and hardly making the bench. Simply better players than him now. He will no on loan to Rangers or Some other Championship team.
However, none of them have Ben relegated to youth football, or had thier contract terminated before the time or been publicly offloaded. There past accolades leave Nwakali in the darkness.
Here and now NWAKALI will not get on the bench of any of there current teams. None of them have the indignity of playing for a bankrupt team that pays peanuts in the relegation zone of a poor quality Segundo division bottom of the league team.
Nonetheless, I don't talk about them AT ALL fit years. Yet in REALITY they are both considerably better than Nwakali.
Who is the hypocrite here with blatant double standard ❓❓ The way you yarns sometimes ehn!! Please is player’s wages translate to how good a player is? If yes! Then most players playing their trade in Saudi Arabia are better than many players in Europe? Oga it is not only about how much you earn. |

Those of you that is not happy with continues invitation of Ahmad Musa should brace up. The governor is as important as a player like ndidi or oshimen, if not more. This man is doing very well in keeping these players together, the harmony between the players and the federation is handy work of Musa. The federation like his personality and the players love him. To keep Musa happy around the group, his best friend also getting opportunities. |

Don’t you know how it work? The best thing is not to invite players like ighalo to camp at all, even if they don’t do well in training the coach will still field them at the expense of a fit and better player in training. Unless you want to divide the team. |

I should have tip him for 30 goals but he only play one 90 min this season (due to a fierce competition for the striking role in his team) and the quality of his team relative to other big teams in there league. |

charlesemeka85: best bet for osimehn if he wants to leave napoli is juventus, bayern or psg
madrid already have red hot benzema and mbappe will be joining them by next summer
man city style of play won't suit osimehn and i foresee a crazy scenario where pep may drop him on the bench to play torres or silva as false 9 which will make many here go mad
united is a good option but with the presence of ageless cr7 osimehn should be ready to play back up to the portueguese goal machine
another good option which i strongly believe will suit osimehn's all action and explosive style of play is ATM but with suarez still banging the goals with no sign of leaving soon our boy may settle for a place in the bench
chelsea just spent big to bring lukaku back and i don't see them selling him off after a season just to spend huge again to bring in a replacement
liverpool like man city does not rely on a number 9 so going there will be a huge mistake
barca yes but i doubt they have the finance to lure osimehn currently
then epl new money bags newcastle? the posibility is very high and if they go all out to get him osimehn will become poster boy of the tynesiders. there is nothing money can't do so if the arabians wants him and offers napoli over 100m with a mouth watering contract offer to osihmen he will definitely jump ship asap
football na hustle Osimehn have the talent to play for any club. No club will splashed out 100k + for a player without having his spot available or will not give him a chance. In fact the couch is at risk of his job if he fail to field such a player even if he is not the one that buy the player. For me, If Oshimen will eventually leave Napoli he should study the playing style of the coach/club if it suits his. |

TheSuperNerd: Not trying to defend Musa's continuous call to the NT which is obviously to ensure he bags beyond 101 caps and set a new NT caps record but I only want to correct the fallacy below.
Ahmed Musa has started 6 league games for Fatih Karagümrük before today. Today, he is in action again from the start (7 starts in 7 league games) and have already bagged an assist with his side up 3-0 after 40mins+.
Musa is no bench warmer in Turkey and Fatih is not the worst side in Turkey.
With those said and corrected, yes, I understand we have better players than Musa going forward but as he is Captain, it is always gonna be hard sidelining him. The politics of the Glasshouse are in his favor. An almost every Skipper of the Super Eagles have been given special treatment in one or more forms from Keshi to Oliseh to Okocha, to Kanu, to Yobo, to Mikel and now to Musa.
But note this, Musa averages 86mins per game in Turkey. He is no benchwarmer. Nice one Boss. I just like the way you use to analyze situations with facts. Some dude here are more attached to some players more than the other. They are bias in the way they reasoned even if you explain to them they won’t be able to see or listen because that thing call BIAS don block their eye and ear. |
