Tell yourself the truth, if you were a coach, would you pick Ndidi ahead of Partey?. Ndidi is just a tough-tackling CB masquerading as a DM. Please check Ndidi's performances for the SE and see what I mean. He can't create, can hardly hit accurate passes whether long or short, can't take good set pieces, and let's not even talk about his finishing/ shot accuracy.

Partey on the other hand is everything Ndidi is and everything Ndidi is not. A true midfielder, he passes with vision, tackles, dribbles, takes brilliant set pieces and can score goals too. Add to that the fact that Partey can play various positions from AM, CM to DM and has even featured on the wings while Ndidi can only play CB and DM.

So, tell me again why you would pick Ndidi ahead of Partey?.
I didn't agree that partey is better than ndidi. partey is just a cheaper option in term of fee and wages

What do you call talent?

For me talent is potential yet to be realised that needs to be nurtured and developed to become exceptional.

I have talked about the training regime in a lot of the top academies. Kick and rush has been buried and cremated in Englands top football academies it's now about the technical ability merged with athleticism.

Most indeed the larger majority of Nigerian youth players will seem very good in Nigeria. But on arrival in Europe will find huge gaps in their football education. As a consequence they will be lacking in technical ability, game strategy and management as well as decision making.

This is why after doing so well at youth level they just seem to fade away not attaining the higher levels in football.

In addition they end up playing youth football in the academy just to get up to the standard required.

With your proposition in the bold. How do you explain Ademola, Oviemuno, among others scouted at U17 but dropped as not being good enough. Within months they were playing first team football.

You could add Eze to that scouted but dropped.

Then all are remembered when they blow.

We can not get away from our DNA corruption it touches every facet of life in Nigeria. If there is a way to manipulate a situation for pecuniary benefits we will definitely take it. The NFF is not exempt.
They just didn't measure up to the rest that time(or other factors like that of ejaria that took excuse himself because of his education)just like some other 9ja born that later work hard and now doing better than those ones picked e.g ejuke, awaziem, terrim, etc.

More so, if the like of yakubu Alfa, osikel, Raphael ademola, etc had the same platform like ovie, ademola lookman and others, l believe they will be balling well than them.

Uzoho - APOEL (Cyprus Protathlima)

Okoye - Sparta Rotterdam (Dutch Eredivisie)

Alampasu - Ventspils (Latvian Virsliga)

My wish is all are starters and the rest will follow. Uzoho is expected to start. Alampasu is growing into a starter for his team. Hopefully Okoye fights his way to the #1 role at Sparta. Mad competition for the Super Eagles Gloves will resume where it left off. grin
In addition to these guys and Mathew yakubu, we also have a goalkeeper in Israel 2nd tier by name Adebayo Adeleye (former national u20 player). He made 33 league appearance this past season.

Also LASK's Tobias okiki lawal who has already shown interest in playing for Nigeria. He had been promoted to their senior team, he featured 19 times for LASK feeder team, junior oo(injuries and involvement with LASK in cup competitions limits his appearance). With these guys I thing we are good to go. In few years time we can even have up to 5 goalkeepers in top leagues. Only time will tell.

Yes. Already mentioned him here many pages back. Plays for Nordsjaelland. Same club Ajax bought Ghanaian forward, Mohammed Kudus from.

I used his pic as a meme not quite long ago on this thread... This particular one below. wink
Yea.... he is a talent. I think he is present captain of Danish u18. Him(17) and emeka nnamani (18) are doing well for nordsjaelland u19. Emeka is their highest goal scorer

I think this guy will go place. I watch highlight of some of his training matches (because he has being with them since he was 16yrs), he got the talent. The good news is that... they rate him very very highly.

Plz elders.... where is this promising guy(xavi, iniesta roll in one) by name Suleiman lawal ayomide, nation u15/u17 player?

A new professional Football league to rival NPFL is set to debut in the country, Complete Sports has exclusively gathered.

Baring any last minute hitch, the league will be unveiled in Abuja, on Saturday with a press conference to announce the birth of the first privately owned professional football clubs league in the country.

Complete Sports checks reveal that a maximum of 10 clubs will pioneer the league which is said to have tacitly received the backing of the Youth and Sports Development Minister, Sunday Dare.
If and when eventually started, the League has as N20m star prize for the winner.

Findings revealed that a Chief Executive Officer, CEO, (names withheld) has already been slated for the league with a pool of private football heavyweights in the country said to be involved in the venture.
The league has equally been registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, Abuja.
Already, those who have been working from behind the scene since late last year to midwife the venture are understood to have sealed a TV sponsorship deal which will ensure that the matches are beamed live on the tubes to the sitting homes of the football loving World.

“They have also pulled a N400m take off grant”, an insider hinted Orient Sports on condition of anonymity. “When we start, clubs will get their due share of the funds and the league will be a reference point to others,” he added.

It was also learnt that even though all the participating clubs will be affiliated to the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, just as the matches will also be officiated by the NFF accredited referees.

Ironically, winners of the league will have no stake in flying Nigeria’s flag in the CAF inter club competitions. That (Nigerian representation in CAF inter club competitions) is for the winners of the NPFL and the domestic cup.

One of the major requirements for participation in the Private Clubs League, Complete Sports was told, was that all the clubs must own a private stadium.
Those these clubs have their own standard stadia? Or are they going to be using government owned stadia? Hope the league will be transparent enough to win fans over.

Please I think you mistake Felix Agu For Chima Okoroji.

Felix is still on 6 assists and will play again Sunday.

Okoroji's two assists today just got him up to Five assists for the league season in addition to his 1 goal.

As for Zaidu Sanusi being an upgrade on Collins, I don't know. Lad is fast and good going forward but has problems defending. He is a good ball crosser and create chances but his primary duty which is defending, he's not so great at it. Perhaps he will improve with time.
Okoroji looks decent and a little more balanced to me than Zaidu and can grow into that upgrade but time will tell.

As for Felix Agu, he is the versatile one.
oooh my bad. I truly mistake him for Felix who is on 6 assists. Thanks 4 the correction senior man.

C. Okoroji with 2 assists for Jahn Regensburg today making it 8 assists so far. Very good for a wing back. I think okoroji and sanusi are an upgrade on Collins

Italian league is not bad for young players bro

The Epl is even more harder for younger players than the Italian league

Reason I don’t want osimhen there is because he won’t bench akradiuz Milik
No sane club will bench 55M euro player, however osimhen is not a player akradiuz milik can bench. Least I remind you some folks also said the same thing with this former Chelsea player(I can't recall is name) when he was about to move to lille
