Abuja people locked up?? U shd atleast get ur facts straight b4 saying hateful things. If u read up d thread, u'll find dat abt 3 of us shared our experiences with d house.

Dragnet's tests are computer-based tests. It's questions are usually GSE questions and it usually comprises three sections: Numerical reasoning, Verbal reasoning and Abstract reasoning. As with most aptitude tests, speed and accuracy are crucial and you can master it by practicing with the right material.

Guy, sorry abt ur ish. I guess u were omitted just like I was. Dis is d experience I had: I called d helpdesk, some guy picked and promised I'd b scheduled 4 lag (my 1st sms sed abj) dat I shd expect their sms and email d nxt day whc was friday. As at 12noon on friday, I called bak and a different person picked. He sed I shd ensure I was available at d venue d nxt day by 1.00pm. I was at uyo at d tym. I explained 2 him dat getting 2 abj wud b near impossible and implored dat I be rescheduled 4 lag, but he sed if I cudnt make it, I shd 4get it. Seconds after I dropped d call, my sms came in. I neva received d email. Long story short; I found my way to abj and dats is dat.

Lessons to b learnt 4rm dis r:
1.) U may want to call d helpdesk agn; chances r dat a better informed person wud pick d call and put u thru.
2.) U shd get to lag and b ready, u neva knw wn ure listed for.

Or better still, dress all up and b there by 2mao. U just myt b merged with d sets 4 2mao. All da best...

Hey guys, there's actully nothing more I can say in additn to wat d enugu people and abuja people hv sed without standing d risk of repeating wat has already bn sed.

Trust me, u don't need to read a thing. All u need do is rest properly as u'll hav lots of materials to read, analyse, discuss, make recommendatns and answer questns on. U don't want to go there with tired eyes.

Also, type directly unto ur slides while preparing ur PP. 20mins is such a short tym wn ure on dat seat.

What more can I say? Just b urself!! Seriously, u shd avoid trying to wear a new personality cos u'll tire out and d charade will likely b spotted b4 d end of d AC.

Well, dis is what I'd do if I were u; I WOULD CRASH THE NEXT ASSESSMENT CENTRE!!! My reasons r;

1.)From my experience with interviews, as long as u show up whilst dey r still at it, u get a chance.
2.)Physical interactn almost always yields more positive results dan e-interactn.
3.)Some guy here said a candidate who came in late in Enugu was rescheduled 4 Abj.

So, I say dress corporately and visit d nxt AC (dat shd b abj). Tell d guys at d gate u hv an interview if ure askd. They mostly don't chk d invitan SMSes, but if dey do, show dem d one u gat. Wn ure in, u'll sure knw wat to do. All da best!!

ABJ peeps dat hvnt received d 2nd text, shd we b worried? I mean, AC will hold in abj 2mao and nxt and dos who had earlier bn notified r yet to b scheduled. Wats up nw?? I'm definitely getting concerned...

Alazeen, truth b told, I cudnt care less if mainstr bank calls me 2day or neva. I'm just negatively fascinated (wateva dat means) with their methods. Esp considering their status in d naijan banking industry.

One wud think dat a bank dat failed and got nationalized wud do its utmost to not only re-penetrate a very competetive mkt, but also build trust and confidence. One veritable way being harnessing a formidable workforce, but here's wat we get. I bet most sound minds who'd scaled d process thus far had since moved to better offers, and d few left will (sooner or later).

I don't knw why I bother to bother sparing MBL a thot. Maybe I'm just a lil too jobless. #smiles

Well, opting to do d documentation on behalf of d team, may be likened to u being open and ready to take responsibility. Another plus 4 u tho, but its nt a guarantee 4 u oo if u no contribute in d discussion, u might loose points and not be selected. I can remember during my AC d bloke that volunteered to write on behalf of d team didn't make it. We were 6 in d team and twas only two persons in my group that made it thru. So u cld opt to assist d team, but bring in ur A game and contribute in d discussion.

Secondly, d Personality test will be administered to U in ur own comfort zone(ur home or office). A link will be sent to u and twill be timed.

This is subject to confirmation though, I may have forgotten. Its been more than a year since I wrote that test (and till today mainstreet is unable to decide).

Lemme share with U my experience @ d FBN AC.

First of all, congrats to all who got the sms invite to the assessment centre, don't rejoice yet cus there is more shreading to b done, they r still gonna slect d best of d best. So listen carefully and follow my precept line by line. FBN might not tk more dan 100-250 new trainees nationwide. So b guided

Once U get to d AC,U'll go thru d accreditation stage. After accreditation, U will take another aptitude test, but more likened to an ability test where u'll have to think thru the scenario and choose answers from the options provided.

After which u will be divided into groups and then u'll be given a scenario to discuss with ur group. Don't argue or shout any1 down, nor interrupt, make sure U give points and make reasonable sense, don't repeat ur suggestions or findings. Smile while responding and if its possible, be the one to take down points and be concise about it, as the supervisor will ask that u submit ur findings on behalf of ur group.

Then an "addendum" will be given which u'll have to read thru to prepare ur slide. U shouldn't have more than 6-10slides, bur make it detailed if u can use animations to drive ur points from the addendum given, good one also. Pls note that u will be given 15mins to prepare ur slide and 5mins 2 present it. Remember while u r discussing with ur team, read ur addendum n note ur points. Then u'll butteress on ur point in ur slide presentation. Don't write stories, just give bullet points then explain thats why its called a powerpoint presentation. Be confident and bold, smile and focused, be sure of whatever point u make, even when they counter U and say u r wrong,always reinsist that to d best of ur own knowledge and how its obtainable(relating to ur addendum) that's wat u think. And remember to intoduce urself and what u r presenting and den thank d panel @ d end of ur presentation. Then remember don't stutter or sound unsure, twill count against U. Remember its 5mins 4 presentation and 20mins 4 preparing ur PPslide. Pls be confident ooooooo. Its germaine. And pls be calm and breatheeeeee, hold ur breathe and control ur pulse, anxiety and over excitement.

After d presentation, u'll go thru d interview stage, ds u'll b asked ur strenght, weakness, whr uv held a leadership role, wat process improvement idea do u have, ur level of creativity, alwaz remember to say u r a good team player, and u most prove and explain whr and how u were active as a team member and a team player. If u fit lie, lie ooo, nobody go ask U if na true or na lie, what is ur passion, why firstbank, why do u think we shld hire U, then know stuffs about FBN generally and read different interview questions.

Then after u r done for dat day. A week later u'll get an sms and email inviting u for a personality test. Then after answering it,u'll be sent an sms to update ur location, that whr u choose whr u wanna work, after which u'll wait as the whole process will be computed u must have a certain percentage score b4 u'll be invited to training sch, dats getting the almighty sms from FBN inviting U 4 medicals and training sch. So now yam and knife dey una hand.

I was at the assessment centre last year, made it to the training sch and FBN. Training sch was another interesting place. Quite Intensivvvvvvvvvvvvvve but fun. But above all prepare, prepare and prepare and pray pray pray as much as U can. Commit all to God and ask 4 favour. No overdo, remember overskill dey kill monkey.

In addition, pls note that U shld try and prepare for essay writing also, garnish urself with the trends happening in d Nigerian Banking system and financial sector. Its the new trend in assessment centres, nt sure if workforce/FBN will adopt dat style. Bur its rather u prepare 4 d worse dan taken unaware.

Do the group members get to pick the person saddled with the task of taking notes during the discussion or is it a volunteer thing? If its a volunteer thingy and more than one person opt for the task, who handles the situation (Pls dont tell me dat letting another volunteer go ahead with the task is rated as good team spirit ).

2.) Are succesful persons assembled in controlled environments for the personality test or is it an online do-at-home assessment??

Godysien: Read ur GMAT again cos of d Paper-based test, though not as hard as u may think. Prepare well for d oral interview (just follow d latest format of answering interview questions. Knw urself well and what u've in ur resume). Be ready to interact well with others by contributing salient points in d course of d group task. Don't be a stupid talkative, lol. From here, u get urself set for ur personal task as would be directed by d fbn officials. Do well in packaging ur power point presentation. Be bold to present ur points convincingly to ur interviewer. After the official engagements, back it up with prayers (to God Almighty alone - don't do juju o) lol, thus u are gud to go. Hope others will read and follow this guide. Let me take my rest for 2morrow's engagement. Gud nyt.

Godysien: Congrats to the would-be fbn colleagues! Pls note that Assessment Centre Exercises normally takes bw 8 to 10 hours of intensive activities for each set, so tighten ur belt well. Corporate dressing is basically required, so go, get, iron and package ur suit well for ur day. Exercises include: paper basd test, oral interview, group task, individual task and finally presentation of ur task using power point. Pple do fail @ this stage, while others do also fail @ either d doc/med screening stage and Training School finally. Note: if u are using Neco u are @ a higher risk, while Waec is d gogo- u knw what i mean(DOB being carried by Waec cert is the magic). It is not that fbn doesn't accept Neco, but delay is pre-eminent. Pls don't pm me. Just ask ur reasonable questions on this platform. Wishing u success @ d remaining stages of ur career pursuit!

Take note dat so many questns come from ur area of studies. For instance, I knw a maths grad who was askd to define normal distributn and state d value of epsilom (hope I got d spelling ryt).

They have to first of all locate your village and talk to your village-chiefs to ascertain the kind of family ure from; then proceed to all your institutions for a recommendation letter (infact, they mailed me about and Ejike, could dat be u?? ).
