one thing is sure,

we are not yet in rainy season

so the op is scared that the rain is not yet forthcoming,

Op why dont you tell those rural farmers to contribute and pay for boreholes that can be used by most of them,

they can do it like this,

Did they use it to sponsor their kids to germany or america?

There still must be a way,
they just really need to think hard and stop complaining

Tell them to go look for alternatives or go find fertile lands closer to the rivers and streams and use for farming.

thats why farmers needs to look for alternatives and stop hoping for the rains to come

stop complaining about the rain and create a borehole in your farms,

go and watch youtube videos to learn how to make self watering techniques for farming nowadays,

people are not really bothered because there is still enough foodstuffs and crops in the market,

when it is scarce then will you see everyone crying and complaining

with greenhouse farming and sack bags you can grow things all year round,

we are not in the primitive age again,

thnigs can now be grown even in the deserts
