fairfora:d gaffes r unbelievable! yet, go to Facebook and c praise singers everywhere! |
Excuse me @lasg dis eye service of closing schools an places of worship- r u people ok? So, parents should go about sharing d gift of #covid-19, in buses, clubs, restaurants, markets and offices; so they can return home each day to BLESS their children with d virus? Dis is ur plan abi? D only thing u guys have to do is copy wot successful nations like South Korea have done and paste it here. Yet, simple lockdown announcement is too hard 4 u to do. It's understandable dt testing thousands is hard 4 u to do; but even to order "iya l'ojas" to inspect every trader for covered faces with scarves and for each trader to have spray bottle of antiseptic- how hard can dt b? Just how bad of an olodo r u people?! If d heat's too much, get out of d kitchen! Or u want us to face u for ur refusal to protest against d airport staying open? Were u showing allegiance to buhari, or to lagosians- who're now paying for d fg's gross dereliction of duty? Did it even occur to u people? Our lives r too important for anyone's laziness or ineptitude. Enuf is enuf. |
favoryte33:pray. have a plan. discuss it with her. get critics of d plan from both ur families. (they'll b d ones supporting u guys anyway) redo ur plan. decide on a "kwashiorkor" wedding; an elaborate one can come later. enlist both ur friends in ur plan and ur wedding. minimalist traditional. children will be discussed when ur more buoyant. if ur both in agreement, pray about it. go to church. marry ur wife. end of. |
chinchonglee:lol world economy is in d toilet, d year is being talked about in past tense, but people should put their lives on hold, abi? d hilarity. |
Demichaels:mods, b like dis bros don miss road, loss for nairaland. kindly move to business section. |
I know dis topic is terrifying, dts y it's hard to even think about it. but do we have a choice? (actually, we do- we can pretend like ostriches) oya, lemme set d ball rolling: I sanitize before leaving my room and once I hit the streets. my peeps at home know to keep their distance, even when chatting. all friends and family living outside- all visitors are barred. to ur tents, o Israel! local man canor shout. ![]() lol oya, lalasticlala, mynd44, seun tell us how ur practicing SD at home ![]() |
I know those of u in relationships will hate to hear this. carriers of covid-19 are usually asymptomatic, therefore: if u still enter public transportation, go to work, market, etc u are advised to avoid ALL forms of intimacy- to avoid infecting ur partner. or ur children. use face masks AT ALL TIMES, because when u talk, u spray saliva up to 6 feet! .... if you've been practising social distancing, how have you been coping with all the restrictions? |
poiZon:it's ridiculous, but how can they do more? we use about $19 to produce a barrel. at under $30 per barrel, wots d gain? we're in serious trouble. |
johnmartus:mods, woton earth r u doing? how can someone post dis kind of fake news and u guys keep quiet? seun, lalasticlala, if ur mods r tired, change dem! unemployed youths everywhere. if d state decides to institute a lawsuit, wot defense will u have for dis piece of rubbish being on ur site? and d original post is even on nairaland! https://www.nairaland.com/4365032/governor-kenya-donates-oversized-shoes curb dis potential disaster. a word is enough. |
OrinAgba:wots d retail price in d market near u? |
Leoniine:d problem with cohabiting- after all d talk of sex, etc- is d false impression dt the wedding will take place. actually, post engagement is d best time to get life lessons from family members, instead of being distracted (and deceived) by living together. and space offers a lot for objective assessment. I'd prefer spending time in each other's family homes on a weekly or monthly basis: u get to c ur partner in their natural habitat, hear and observe things that they might keep from u, enjoy closeness and d other's family bonding with u. after all, when ur still in ur respective places, u can always shag ur brains out like bunny rabbits! ![]() |
Phenomenal16:u should. if u marry a level headed guy, discuss real issues and plans with him, instead of enjoying frivolities- more money is icing on ur family's cake. ur dating observations will give u a clue. my sister earns more than her hubby, travels out for work frequently, birthed 2 of her children in d US- from her pocket. which man with a brain will be vexing?! lol he looks after d kids a lot, cos his job is less demanding. my only grouse with him is, he should be challenged to do more with his free time to start a side hustle. I'm working on him, small small! ![]() |
fastlane84:kindly read thru my previous discourse with oers above. if u still have questions, lemme know! ![]() |
kikero:kindly read my previous discourse to see why ur summation is slightly off course. cheers! |
ojesymsym:d price in 2012 was d exact price of a litre as landed in a filling station, based on source at d time- d us. interestingly, it was also d naira equivalent price of 1 litre of petrol in d us, as at 31/12/2011. considering wholesale purchase, transportation costs, etc I expect d marketers had a healthy margin. I checked. u can too |
Xisnin:how many direct govt subventions do farmers enjoy? fertilizer, seedlings, tools, training, etc? and u still think d price of ur garri is market driven? |
Xisnin:in developed nations, many deregulated products r under caveat of govt's ditrect management- from petrol and diesel to dairy products. in d us, govt gives farmers subsidies or buy up excess stock- just to stabilize prices. d UK govt regulates pump price on a regular basis, pardon d pun. grants and stimulus packages r also ways of helping specific industries. so when prices change with external factors, it's deregulated- despite occasional govt interventions. |
Simplyleo:u sef., must u reply? go to d link below for d full list and some reasons behind dem. https://www.nairaland.com/4113366/what-difference-exclusive-concurrent-list |
u read d tweet: ANNOUNCEMENT: The official Price of Petrol in Nigeria is now N125 per Litre. A Price Modulation Mechanism is being introduced, to be managed by the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA), to henceforth adjust the price in line with the market price of crude oil.- https://twitter.com/NigeriaGov/status/1240318731781386242 did u miss it? lemme ep u joor -"A Price Modulation Mechanism is being introduced, to be managed by the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA), to henceforth adjust the price in line with the market price of crude oil." so. d deed is done. without d slightest hint of noise, protest or discussion. did I predict dis one dis year? I'll have to check. enjoy! ![]() |
helinues:lol ol boy, u don give me wetin I dey find. cheers! |
helinues:well done. dts all I needed from u. good luck! ![]() |
LordReed:I believe a generalization is open to all. so I responded. but u- wetin cari u enter him mata? |
LordReed:who's "we"? r u his bodyguards? or his mouthpiece? or voltron? |
helinues:guy, I'm still waiting for ur mockery of Islam o. try face who face u. |
LordReed:r u helinues? |

helinues:lol oya, say something similar about Allah, Mohammed or d Qur'an. since insulting people's faith is easy. abi? let's all just wait with popcorn handy. |
CotenantNIG:let me help u undastand: 3 pipo don sick wit d virus. u c any pastor near dem for healing service? shey it's only laying of hands, wot stopped dem from using their anointing to heal d sick? him 4 just keep shut. but relevance seeking is real. |
