In debt from the subsidy

IN 2011, subsidy costs tripled compared to 2010, due to rising oil prices. Nigeriawas begining to spend more and more government revenue and saving less. GEJ tried to stop that by removing subsidy, but people like you went to Ojota and said no, so subsidy spending continued.

By the time oil prices crashed, in 2014, we were left exposed. And we continued spending more and more on subsidy...leading to the debt worsening. Buhari came in and kept on spending more and more and because oil was not high, he then printed more money to pay for the subsidy.

Bad idea

That's why tinubu, obi and atiku all said subsidy would go if they were in charge...in the run up to 2023 elections.

You don't understand how subsidy damages the economy, that's why you are speaking like that. Tinubu was like you until he entered office and he saw what GEJ saw.
