This is more like company ownership tussle gone wrong.

What seem to have happened is that she was the 2nd wife of one of the company's owner who had died in 2004.

She tried taking over the company in 2014 by appointing a new company secretary, changing the company registered address, changing the shares structure of the company and then removing 2 of the directors of the company.

Then 5 years later in 2019, the company did a project and was paid some money.

The directors who had been removed 5 years previously went to court because she collected a substantial part of the payment. Some of the paperwork she used in changing the ownership structure in 2014 seems to have been faulty.

They wanted a pound of fresh and seems to have gotten it.

This is more like finding a way to criminalize a civil matter and succeeding.

In Nigeria of today, many of the people are very stupid.

If someone comes to your house and falls sick and dies, you will be arrested for murder. Majority online will say you used the person for rituals. No autopsy, no investigation, just quick conclusion that you are a murderer, most especially if you are a man, and the dead person is a woman.

The police are the most useless of them all. Very dull.

There need to be a law that all deaths that are not natural deaths must be followed by autopsy, paid for by the government, to know the actual cause of death.

I read through lots of the comments here and no one asked why no autopsy or any investigation by the police.

The Constitution requires the man accused of the crime to be brought before a judge within 24 hours, how will the police be able to take the man to court within 24 hours when they have not done any prior investigation before arresting the man? At the end of last year, when I consulted for a former head of service (HoS) on the management of his farm, I thought every retiree should do the same for financial security - planting a tree that’s never enough for global consumption.

- Get one hectare of land.

- Plant Brazilian cashews because they have huge nuts. That’s what we’re interested in, the nuts.

-The tree is very tolerant of drought and can survive a 2-5 month dry season (Duke, 1983). Usually, one rainy season is enough.

- It will start flowering in a year and get established in three years.

- The spacing should be between 6 to 8 meters between trees. That means you should plant 165 to 175 cashew seedlings on one hectare. But just go for a round figure of 200.

- A cashew seedling costs from N200 to N1,000. So that’s between N40,000 to N200,000 investment per hectare.

In three years, your one hectare will give you one ton of cashew nuts. Using the current market price, that’s N3 million for your one hectare.

- Just contact the National Cashew Association officials in your state, and they will buy from you or connect you to buyers.

But if the cashew plantation will take up to three years to give you money, what can you plant between the cashews that will earn you money within a year?

- Plant papaya.

- Each papaya tree will earn you N30,000. Since you can plant up to two papayas between cashew trees, you will be tempted to plant a lot, but limit it to 200.

- So, from 200 papayas, you will earn N6 million yearly.

- Papaya should take only seven months before you literally start enjoying the fruits of your labour.

But is there a plant that you can benefit from monthly, even before the papayas mature?

- Yes. But that’s for another day. Stay with this page for an update.

P.S. Plant the trees in straight rows because we need the spaces between rows to plant other crops that will give you daily or at least weekly income.

It’s equally a promising venture for our teeming youngsters and women. Agroforestry is a decent poverty alleviation mechanism. I challenge us to put more efforts in shaping the mindset of our people. It means a lot.

Nice writeup. But I doubt some of the things you wrote. I don't think cashew can flower in 1 year after planting unless it is grafted cashew plants.
But if it is grafted cashew plants, then it will be difficult to get it at 200 naira per plant.

Moreover at the early stage of the life of the plantation, the yield is normally very low until the plant grows big enough to support heavier production, so I don't think you can get 1 ton of cashew nuts in the 3rd year. Maybe later in the life of the plantation.

Anyway it is still a good writeup and establishment of tree crops is a good way to ensure future financial stability.

Is there large market for pawpaw? Inter cropping pawpaw with trees can easily lead to production of large quantities of pawpaw and if the market is not there, then the farmers will lose.

I am interested in the other crop you hinted that can generate monthly revenue from the plantation. What crop is that?

Based on how it's done over here, it can be watered atleast every 2 weeks until rain comes, even after the rain it can take up to 3 months that's if you will water it again before maturity.
12 months is enough to cashout on sugarcane I love it because it has unending market demand

My brother used his bare hand to mix Force Up weed killing harbiside.
Unfortunately, he had a wound in his hand and I think through the wound the herbiside with an active ingredient of Glyphosate has entered his blood stream (I might be wrong but this is how we think the herbiside entered his body).

It's been about 3 months now and his kidney function test shows it has been degrading. He feels nobness in his hand and his eyes is also getting affected.
He has gone to many hospitals and they didn't believe it's the herbiside. After conducting many tests, they just leave him in limbo.

He has spents so much money at Evercare hospital in Lekki and they also just stopped attending to him.
We have been looking for Toxicology and Poision control centre but we have not seen any reputable one.

there are 3 layers of medicare in Nigeria. You have the primary health centres, which give primary health care like immunisations, antinatal care, treatment of simple illnesses like malaria. Next you have the secondary health care centres, these include the General Hospitals you have in most cities and towns. they are design to manage the more challenging illnesses and routine surgeries.

next in line are the tertiary health centres. these are specialist health centres designed for research and treatment of the most difficult health challenges. examples of these are the University Teaching Hospitals and federal medical centres.

from what you have described, your brother has a medical condition that needs to be handled by the tertiary health care system, unfortunately he has been going to the secondary health care centres. I deally, they should have referred him to a tertiary health care centre. I wonder why he has not been referred.

Take your brother to a tertiary health care centre, somewhere like the teaching hospital of a federal university should be able to diagnose and handle his problem. take him to the federal university teaching hospital close to you. Any teaching hospital of the old generation federal universities should be fine.

The man can legally marry the extra woman sleeping with him. So the single woman might be sleeping with the married man in the hope that he marries her as his second wife.

These seedlings were produced with potting soil, but there's a possibility of adding sterilised loamy soil at a certain ratio to your grow media (potting soil, cocopeat, peatmoss)
