Joyglo: Your best bet will be to buy private land. Getting government land is not that straightforward in my experience. I will check around for private land in Delta state and get back to you. Send me an email so that we can communicate by email. I have 100 acres of personal land at Ogbomoso, Oyo state, that I could have sold to you, but that land is too dry for oilpalm. It will be good for things like cashew. |

LandMann: You are wrong. There are 3 marriage systems in Nigeria. 2 out of the 3 systems permit polygamy. Of the three marriages systems in Nigeria (Statutory (English) law, Customary law, and Islamic law, only the statutory law forbids polygamy. The customary law is used by non Muslims in southern Nigeria to marry multiple wives. 3 Likes |

Stephen2324: The man can legally marry the extra woman sleeping with him. So the single woman might be sleeping with the married man in the hope that he marries her as his second wife. But a married woman sleeping with another man can not be legally married to both men at the same time in Nigeria. I am just trying to find a logical reason for a nonsense situation. Sleeping with another man's wife is a foolish high risk venture. 18 Likes |

HellVictorinho8: I thought it was fasting that caused your malnourishment. Anyway, I stopped giving money to Nigerian beggars since 2015. Since millions of Nigerians believed that a school certificate holder, who did not even know the whereabout of his secondary school certificate, was better than a PHD holder in being president of the country, I just give up on Nigerians. Sorry, try someone else who has not given up on Nigerians. 1 Like |

Romance / Re: Why Is Diabetes So Common In Nigeria by Earthstorms(m): 11:22pm On Sep 29 |
HellVictorinho8: BMI is body mass index. It is the ratio of your weight in Kilograms to the square of your height in metres. If you weigh 80kg for example and your height is 1.6 metres, then your BMI is 80/(1.6x1.6) = 31.25 In general, the following BMI ranges (in kg/m2) classify different weight types: Underweight: Less than 18.5. Optimum range: 18.5 to 24.9. Overweight: 25 to 29.9. Class I obesity: 30 to 34.9. Class II obesity: 35 to 39.9. Class III obesity: More than 40. If you have a BMI less than 18.5 (underweight), you may be at higher risk for developing the following conditions: Malnutrition. Anemia. Weakened immune system, which could lead to more frequent infections and illnesses. Osteoporosis. Infertility. If you have underweight, your healthcare provider will likely order certain blood tests and other tests to check your overall health and to see if you’re malnourished. In general, the higher your BMI, the higher your risk for the following conditions: Heart disease. High blood pressure (hypertension). Type 2 diabetes. Gallstones. Osteoarthritis. Sleep apnea. Certain cancers, including colon, breast, endometrial and gallbladder. Depression and other mental health conditions https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/9464-body-mass-index-bmi |

Politics / Re: EFCC Arrest Ex-Taraba Governor, Ishaku Over Alleged ₦27 Billion Fraud by Earthstorms(m): 5:55am On Sep 28 |
No politician steals alone. They are aided by others who do not have immunity from prosecution. The fake contracts they use for stealing are awarded by civil servants without immunity. The padding of the budgets to accommodate looting is initiated by civil servant without immunity and rubber stamped by the legislature that have no immunity and the payments are made by clerical officers and bankers without immunity. Payment clearance for jobs not executed is done by the civil servants without immunity. In summary, public looting in Nigeria is enabled by collusion between a few politicians with immunity and lots of civil servants and other politicians without immunity. If the EFCC wants to make a dent on stopping public looting they will focus on the civil servants that have no immunity but are signing away public funds for politicians to loot. And they will do this while the politicians are still in office. Going after politicians after they have left office is medicine after death. Why go after money stolen a decade ago while allowing stealing to be going on today, only to come back in 10 yrs time to try to recover money that is being stolen today. 16 Likes 3 Shares |

Jeo Igbokee should turn off all the AC if he can not pay for the electricity that they are consuming. Only you have 7 ACs and you say it is a small office. Joe is a staunch APC supporter, he should not disturb us. He might just be making noise so that they will remember him and send him some palliatives. |
Romance / Re: Why Is Diabetes So Common In Nigeria by Earthstorms(m): 12:20am On Sep 28 |
brodalikeme: Hope you realize that diabetes can be cured. Moving around with sensors and watching the glycemic response of the different food you eat does not lead to a cure. It only leads to you giving more money to the medical companies and the medical professionals. Simply removed all carbohydrates from your diet. Carbohydrates is not an essential nutrient. Having type 2 diabetes means that you are obese, so you have stores of fats in your body that can keep.you going for over a year. Burn those fats instead of eating more carbohydrates. Switch to keto diet for 6 months and see if the diabetes will not go away. Without carbohydrates in the meal you don't have to take insulin or any other diabetes medications. Within 6 months the diabetes will be cured. Op, Type 2 diabetes is caused by several factors. They are in order of decreasing importance. 1. Insufficient fasting 2. Obesity 3. Eating excessive carbohydrates The number 1 cause of type 2 diabetes is non stop eating. We now eat from 6 am when we wake up to 12 midnight when we about to go to bed. So blood insulin levels are continuously high 24/7 In the old days when we were growing up, there was no electricity. No fridge. We ate dinner latest by 7pm. And there is nothing else to eat after dinner because we go to bed between 8 and 9 pm at most. And you have nothing else to eat until about 7 AM the next morning. That is a minimum of 12 hrs of not eating anything every single day. Today most people don't even have a 10hr window where they don't eat anything. We eat 3 large meals and uncountable snacks in-between those meals. We are continuously eating The human body is not designed for continuous eating. A period of regular fasting is required to make the blood insulin levels to drop so that the sensitivity of the cells to insulin is preserved. If blood insulin levels remains perpetually high, then the sensitivity of the cells to insulin decreases and that is type 2 diabetes. Continuous eating causes the blood insulin levels to remain continuously high. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Even you OP, how are we sure those oilpalm seedlings in that your picture are not F2 oilpalm seedlings? How did you come about the sprouted seeds? Do you do the cross breeding to get the hybrid seeds? |
