However you relied on your fathers words and evidences to accept him as your father and your mother being your mother. This is how the Bible procress came to be through family chronological records.
Most of the things in the Bible are what happen before the Bible was made, the pieces of those events what was put together to make up the chapters of the Bible are what occurred in specific generation..

Now Adam passed down his story to his sons and his sons passed it on to his grandsons to grand grand until it reached to Noah generation(the second world), he continued the trend to Abraham's time and his lineage and to Moses time.
Mind you, the book of Genesis was written by moses himself and now that book with other chapters of the Bible has been passed to us to continue the trend.

You once told me that God might exist.
When I was born and I had the energy to reason and think, I first had this confusion in me, why am I here?, who did this work?, why is the sky hung up there but when I jump I fall to the ground? I saw the birds and i tried to fly but can't fly because I don't have wings but I can fly when I develop a flying carrier or buy an aeroplane. And I feared that these might be a work of some other person elsewhere who orchestrated all this things.
Mind you All these questions came spontaneously before I was able to read and understand before then I've always assumed that all these work is not the work of man but some supernatural being who is greater than all these things.

In the actual sense, nobody told me.
My local dialect first gave me the semantics to fix the puzzle myself. My native name helped me a lot in this aspect.
