Dietminute:The admission requirement for most Norge universities is BSc.. This means they might only evaluate applicants based on BSc... |
Donmegalin:Yeah, Norwegian embassy don't issue visa for BSC study permit to Nigerians. |
Rakel4032:Congratulations.... What role did you applied for? |
Luzznation:I didn't applied to Nord University. The school does not offer programmes in my area of specialty. |
Augustofficialx:From your questions I know you have not taking some of your time to do little research about Sweden. Do some research about Sweden at your free time because it will help you a lot. 1) Application fee doesn't guarantee a place. (but when you say application fee, do you mean for admission application or for Visa application?) because you need to gain admission. In your admission letter all the procedure will be there, like payment of tuition fees, visa applications etc. 2) On the admission portal, you will have the option to apply to four universities with four masters programmes and rank them according to priority. 3) With regards to English test, Nigerians don't need to document it. WAEC or NECO and bachelors study is enough requirements. 4) with regards to official transcript, you only need to send 1 copy of your transcript to the admission postal address. This will be access by all 4 universities you have applied to. So no need of sending individually to all four universities. This helps to save costs. You can follow the links below to get more information Nigeria, master's admission and required documents for Sweden https://www.universityadmissions.se/en/apply-to-masters/provide-application-documents-masters/required-documents/nigeria/ Residence permit for studies https://www.universityadmissions.se/en/fees-scholarships-residence-permit/residence-permit-for-studies/ Residence permit studies - required documents https://www.swedenabroad.se/en/about-sweden-non-swedish-citizens/nigeria/going-to-sweden/studying-in-sweden/residence-permit-studies---required-documents/ |
Efair12:You can check the programme website to see all the required documents. Then upload using *others* if you don't see the option. |
Augustofficialx:What information do you need about Sweden? |
kingsman4u:(1) My advice to you is to apply. Check the school requirements and make that you have them. Also submit all required documents. (2) Upload the two results to your application. Also upload a scratch card from both WAEC and NECO. |
Jermaie0009:BSc programme is taught in Norwegian and the embassy don't issue visa to BSc applicant from Nigeria. |
Easternheart: |
teewaik:Yes, you can used a Master degree if you have completed the Master Degree and it is related to the programme to intend studying in Norway. Also note that some schools will only evaluate your application based on your BSc. Depending on your programme, some schools required work experience while other do not need it. You will see information on the school website. you can also email the respective schools if you are confuse at any point. |
Efair12:The affidavit will do. |
victor54:You can use google to check the conversion. It's between 5.4m and 5.5m. |
Miscellaneous:1: you can upload both documents to your application. But some schools only access statement of results that are few years old(like 2years). Both documents are not enough as you still need contact your issuing university to mail the hard copies of your transcripts in a sealed envelope to the schools you're applying to. 2: Yes, Mail the hard copies. The document will have to be in a sealed envelope that has not been tampered with. I think your school will send it directly. With regards to sending documents by email, You can contact the school directly because most schools accepts mailed documents. The method on how to send the documents can be found on the schools websites. 3: Sending hard copies to them is a cateria for your admission application to be considered. So you need to send hard copies. This way, they will know that you truly have acquired the educational result that you're applying with. 4: No, you don't need the sponsor letter if you have the said amount on your bank statement. 5: Jobs in Norway? This I can't make conclusion on because I'm also a prospective students like you too. From what I have seen online, a little or more of the language is required and it depends on the jobs you will be applying for. |
Emmalexpharm:The language of instruction for BSc is Norwegian and the embassy does not issue visa to BSc students. |
Miscellaneous:I can't really tell if it is applicable to other countries. I heard of someone that travelled to Canada on a visit visa. She put the money in the account, printed the bank statement then withdrew out the money from the account. I think this method can be used for school admission not sure about Visa purposes. |
Emmalexpharm:Master's degree are taught in English while BSc are taught in Norwegian. |
Miscellaneous:What they are interested in, is only the closing balance on the account statement and also sponsor letter (if you have a sponsor). so even if you put the money in your account this week and get the bank statement next week. It won't affect anything. |
Ufemia26:Yes, You have to send hard copies of your transcripts to all the schools you applied for. It is a key requirement for your admission application to be considered. |
Toheebbello:I'm also an applicant. The admission application opens on 15th October. |
Ge0grapher:@adedejis2 said it was for admission purpose not visa application and will repay over 2 to 3 years after getting to Norway. He asked if it was OK to dropped the said amount in his account, get the statement and then transferred the money back to the owner. I only responded to the question he asked and nothing more. However, after gaining admission, he will be required to send the amount to the Norwegian school for Visa application. |
adedejis2:Yes you can upload the Bank statement before 1st December as long as it shows the NOK 123 519 equivalent. The schools will not contact the Bank that issued the statement. |
tmodeltoluene:Some schools exempt Nigerians, check the schools. Like NTNU exempt Nigerians but still required that a letter from your university confirming that the language of Instruction was English be uploaded on the application portal, see the attached photo of the response I got from them. So check with the individual university Use the www.studyinnorway.no It's their official site.
|
Dietminute:Yeah, they don't give visa to undergraduate applicants. I just read it. |
Dietminute:I have not read such information. What are the reasons? Can you post the link here from where you got the info? |
