You can not compare 2004 to now. The number of applicants now is far more than before.

Not all departments have released full list of admission. If it is still under consideration that means there is hope as long as you have not received a rejection mail or waiting list mail.

I heard that all admissions will be out on or before the second week of May.

I will advice you accept it. Some people going to Norway see it as a transit to a country of their choice. It will be easy to move to other countries after your studies in Norway .

Got an admission to University of Stavanger since last week, with a cgpa of 3.88/5.00.

But won't be accepting, even though i have the resources ready. The feedback about getting work after study isn't encouraging.

Select in the filter option, Master and choose the subject area you want to study. It will bring up all the lists of programmes.

Students and their spouses do not pay the same visa fee. Their visa categories are different. Find attached the visa fees for family immigration and for studies.

I am currently in Norway on a family immigration permit. After foreign exchange, what I paid as visa fee amounted to N640,000 for myself and N280,000 for my wife. This was before Naira:Dollar became 570:1. So I can bet that that amounted would have further increased.

Another look just before posting this and I discovered that study permit visa fee has increased. When my wife applied for her visa, it was 4000 and something NOK but I can see that it has now been increased to 5,900 NOK.

Prospective students should brace up!

Doubt if that figure is accurate. 640K for partners? �. Children under the age of 18 are not required to pay fees. So multiply 280k per applicant by 2 = 560K.

280K per applicant over the age of 18.
It should be 560K (for student with his/her spouse)

The international passport I used for my application is expiring by May. Though, I have gone for a renewal. I hope this won't affect my admission. Admission letters are expected to start rolling out by March 30th.

The passport was still valid during the admission application deadline. It won't affect your admission.

I want to start the renewal process of my stolen passport but on the application form, no option to specify that it is for renewal of stolen passport.

The information I'm seeing is biodata, next of Kin, address, contact information, passport processing office, passport booklet type. No option to select renewal of stolen passport.

You need to show maintenance funds of 9207. Add this to 7500 or 6000 depending on whether you got a discount of 1500 or not.

Times this by 567, 580, 600 or 650 depending on the oanda rate you want. You will know.

Add the visa fees, ihs fees, and TB test.
Also priority /walk in fees if you want.

Norway schools evaluate applicants educational qualifications. They don't use WES or depend on WES. All requirements for each MSc programmes can be found on the individuals school's website and BSc is normally the minimum requirements. You can contact the schools you're interested in and also look up their websites to get information.
