Car Talk › Re: 2015 Porsche Macan: The Cutest SUV On Nigerian Road by eastsense(m): 1:32pm On Sep 12, 2016 |
AutoJoshNG: The Porsche Macan is the most successful model in the Porsche line-up with buyers waiting about 9 months before taking deliver of their order.
This N28 million Macan was spotted in Lagos and the ride was absolutely awesome. Nigerians should be respected as we usually buy these vehicles cash down compared to our foreign counterparts who usually buy them on credit and pay over 4-5 years.
See more pictures and features of the Porsche Macan:
1) Engine type: 3.0L V6 Twin-Turbo. 2) Transmission: 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK). This means the vehicle has a dual clutch system which allows it to change gears instantaneously and the driver won't even notice. 3) Drive train: All Wheel Drive 4) Fuel economy: 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. 5) Fuel tank capacity: 19.8 gallons (75 litres) 6) Horsepower: 340 hp @ 5500 rpm 7) Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+): For improved stability and agility as well as reduced body roll.
Launch control: This feature is meant for speed enthusiasts who want their car to take off like it has jet engines. 9) Sport plus package: On center console, affects throttle characteristics, systems such as PSM and PTM 10) Porsche Rear Seat Entertainment: Includes two high-resolution 10.1-inch colour touchscreen displays with internal 32 GB flash memory for the storage and playback of up to 4,000 MP3 files. 11) Six-disc CD/DVD changer: You have to pay $500 if you want this feature to be added to your vehicle. However, most would probably not want it in this day and age of satellite radio, blue tooth audio etc. 12) 12V Cooling Bag: It has a capacity of 3.2 gallons (12 liters) for cooling drinks and food. Porsche Connect Plus: Apple CarPlay, 4G LTE Module for internet connectivity, Real Time Traffic Information, Google Earth and StreetView.
http://autojosh.com/2289-2/u buy a car that will pay for twenty workers in europe for 2 months and ur happy , mr man Ferdinand Porsche is from austria later he immigrated to germany there he established his company ok u said white people buys on credit? Now tell me how much u pay for your insurance in nigeria pls pls stop this joke biko so now it has reached a situation u compares naija with maker's of car u buy ? |

Why don't you speak for yourself, the truth is this is the time when some are making it of which I am included and I thank God for that. Though I am fully aware of the sufferings of the masses but we just have to remain focused on our own personal life and try to find every means of making it better and pray to God to lift us up and make our lives comfortable no matter how bad the economy is. u dey make am still we no dey see u for tv and u ve time to come on naira land to defend ur saint buhari |

davodyguy: You Nairalanders are mostly Jokers.
See Someone saying another should not say what he doesn't know, whereas you are not sure of what to say.
Has that stopped flooding. Here this
'A massive flood swamped parts of southern and eastern Louisiana in August 2016, the latest in a string of more than a dozen flood events that have affected parts of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and Missouri since March 2015.'
'Over a 12-month period ending Aug. 14, 2016, Baton Rouge, Louisiana (98.83 inches), and Bergstrom Airport near Austin, Texas (67.86 inches) had their wettest Aug. 15-Aug. 14 12-month period on record, according to the Southeast Regional Climate Center.'
Mid-Late March 2015
March 12: Streets closed, cars stalled in high water in Shreveport and Bossier City, Louisiana. March 21: Stalled front lead to training storms near the Texas, southwest Louisiana coast. Numerous cars stalled in high water in Jefferson County, Texas.
April 16-18, 2015
Wall collapsed at recreation building at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. At least 65 homes flooded in Houston.
Anyone of you that comes on this thread to abuse the Lagos government will prove how lowly knowledgeable you are about the environment and environmental science. so u call those over hyped lekki a world standard city i laff in cambodia, if what happend in katrina God forbid if that happens in lagos just for 10 seconds lagos will seize to exit pls lagos is still 6th world city pls if tokyo can stand every year earthquake then ur talking about ordinary lagoon the way lagoon circled lagos the city dont even need bus cus they can connect lagoon to every parts of lagos just like Amsterdam' but the technology is not there,u travelled out nigeria to europe from london to vienna to madrid abd u still hype nigerian city?ur type made our sitting governors to steal more cus in ur mind they ve transformed ur lagos to dubai or singapore anyways u might be a goverment agent |
Politics › Re: Gafaru Street In Lagos Flooded After A 12 Hour Rainfall by eastsense(m): 10:01pm On Sep 06, 2016 |
davodyguy: Rubbish and nonsense.
Cities like Lagos are found in different continents and it's not unexpected.
Couple of cities around the round suffer similar fate, even in the united States.
Many people would start talking nonsense now, cos of their ignorance and little knowledge about their environment or environmental science
As a coastal state, the city of Lagos lies on the belt and essentially surrounded by water. Just dig a hole, all you see is water, water and water. It can never ever be completely prevented cos of the fact that Lagos is practically under water
Many areas have been left flooded due to ceaseless rainfall
Some low lying areas of the city are prone to flood and also, Poor environmental practices such as dumping of waste in drainage often lead to flooding
But the beauty of that of Lagos is this, as soon as the rain stops, go back to that same spot 3-4 hours thereafter, you'll be shocked to see the waters drained off completely. That's the essence of good drainage systems mr man dont talk what u dont know if u want lagos to say bye bye to things like this just invite holland engineers for about ccc u can check about holland on tube even after hurricane katrina america invites them |
