Have we even honored our past heroes like yekinihuh? Abeg let the boy go play for England I support this.

Nigeria is an unforgiving and forgetful nation when it comes to past accomplishments.
Sports › Re: Samuel Okwaraji's Death Made Nigeria Not Qualify For The 1990 World Cup by easyelliot(m): 1:42am On Aug 07, 2015
A statue that is visible only if you are looking for it. Shame there is no union or pension for ex players who struggled or are struggling late in life when the ovation is over.

The way yekini was allowed to die and rot away with his issues is sad for a player that was a legend. Up to now no one has come close to scoring as frequently as the gangling one.

Okwaraji gave his life for his country and yet no celebration no acknowledgement except for a measly statue.

Muda Lawal died while he was Nigeria's soccer ambassador....who knows thathuh

We mock our past heroes when they go bankrupt or lose their money or are homeless....you don't treat heroes like that. You honor them for eternity so the nxt generation can look and aspire to more than a glimpse or whisper (I.e. Mikel I'm talking to you)

when u talk about midfield maestro Okwaraji was like a European player back then...intelligent passes not nonsense backward passing and bench riding.

If I'm advising any young dual national who has the option to play for either Nigeria or the other country, I'll tell him to pick the other.

Hopefully Pinnick can change this narrative. First honor the past and the future will be honored to play for Nigeria.

END RANT

U can't eliminate them from the process but you can control the narrative and be strong in your conviction. I support doing a court wedding private ceremony, then do a big one or more inclusive one later.

But if you have understanding and open minded family members who are not stuck in archaic times, then please involve them.

Good news indeed. We need this lad to do well and pave a new era. Oliseh, don't forget this boy o. Mikel is a relic of the past content on riding the bench collecting his check. Forget him Nacho is the future.

I guess I have to watch it first....but I grew up a fan of FF and I actually liked the first two....but they have decided to reboot again, maybe that's the problem I have with it.

Sports › Re: Does Mikel Obi Deserve A Starter Role In Chelsea FC & Nigeria National Team? by easyelliot(m): 4:13am On Aug 05, 2015
Mikel needs to force a move out off Chelsea so he can salvage his remaining skills. Sitting on the bench for community shield is a slap in the face. What is matic doing that is so extra ordinary? Does he want to ride the bench for the rest of his career? I 've seen him make sublime passes but he doesn't play enough to warrant any mention.

Ordinary community shield u no fit play haba!!!!! Your coach sees no value in you if he can't throw you into a game that they are losing in a competition that is a glorified warm up game.
And we expect him to be midfield dynamo for Nigeria....how can he be? His muscles have forgotten how to. He won't show his displeasure and force a move to a team that will play u more often. Look at Czech....left as a back up and now a starter....Thats a guy that doesn't accept he is a bench warmer. But Mikel? Sits on the bench like its ok.
He has his passport so now what? Even ramires, who I still don't know his value except for being brazillian is ahead of Mikel. Even Zuma sefhuhhuh

At least he'll speak English during interviews; not some crooked twang.
Exactly and he is in shape no pot belly protruding under track suit. That's one thing that I give sia sia credit for; when he was coach, he looked sharp.
