I give keshi credit for finding this diamond in a rough especially from china of all places. If he can move to epl, it would do wonders for his career.
HealthRe: Ebola Could Return To Nigeria In December - Dr Haliru Alhassan (health Minister) by easyelliot(m): 10:49pm On Nov 16, 2014
Why is he causing hysteria ?
Just make sure anybody coming from sa lone, Liberia and guinea is sent back where they came from or isolated and quarantined immediately. That also goes for all passengers on board.

American Football is having a bad year from a PR standpoint and Lebron who has a growing influence is taking a stand for his kids and other kids of America. Good for him.

Which Position do you think is the Most Important in Basketball ?
I used to think its the point Guard now I think its the Center
Point guard who can also score, sort of like tony Parker is ideal in today's game. A center is at the mercy of his teammates to get him the ball, but the pg, the ball is in his hands all day he determines who gets touches.

Pg is the more important position, IMO.
SportsRe: Where Is Kelechi "Nacho" Iheanacho???? by easyelliot(op): 5:48am On Nov 10, 2014
No offence but Wetin concern me with negredo?

I mean is nacho even playing soccer actively?
What is going on?
I want to see him play not train , this is none sense.

I heard his father is his agent.......if that's true that might be a mistake. Why not sign your client
For a team that were going to play him or loan him somewhere he would actually play.......at an age when he should be firing at all cylinders he is training MIA.......
SportsWhere Is Kelechi "Nacho" Iheanacho???? by easyelliot(op): 11:24pm On Nov 09, 2014
APB out on Nigerian prodigy Kelechi iheanacho.

First reports have it that man city were waiting on him to turn 18 in October.....well, we are in November and I have yet to see him feature for city.

Then we heard he needed to secure his permit to play in UK, so he was being loaned to MLS team Columbus crew. Well I'm watching said team and I'm not seeing him and their list of players don't have him listed.

Anybody with info concerning where he is playing please inform ASAP.

I'm a concerned fan who is skipping this generation of Super Eagles, and looking forward to the new generation......

FamilyRe: Bearded Ladies, How Do You Cope? by easyelliot(m): 2:40am On Nov 09, 2014
To answer the question, I don't cope at all. I mean it is not sexy at all. Any man that thinks a bearded woman is sexy needs to check themselves.........they might be a closet homosexual.

Women that have this problem, spend every waking day removing it a beg.

I remember seeing a bearded woman as a kid and I followed her through the store, cause I couldn't believe my eyes and I thought she was an alien from anoda planet.

SportsRe: Who Is Nigeria Greatest Number 9 ? by easyelliot(m): 2:21pm On Oct 26, 2014
Hardtalk:
I will not blame anyone who says, Kanu is Nigeria's best number 9. The reason is simple. Such a person will be btw the ages of 19 and 25. Or must have been born from 1990 upward. Again, becos many of our youths are fond of cutting corners (eg like JAMB and post-JAMB exams), they will never read to know true facts and compare results, or what they have read.

I wished they grew up to see Rashidi's statue at the national stadium in Lagos. This argument would have been totally unnecessary. That I want NFF and Nigerian govt to do, for this unrecognised legend.

Straight to the point. Abedi Pele is regarded as the greatest player ever in the history of Ghanaian football, yet, how many goals and trophies did he win for Ghana?

George Opon Weah, till date, (for me), is the greatest player from the soil of Africa (becos he won Euro and World footballer of the year), yet, how many goals did he score in the world cup?

You may still not want to use that as a basis. If Kanu is regarded as Nigerian best 9, please, how many goals does he have in the nations cup? Besides, in all the qualifiers for nations cup and by extension, world cup, how many goals has his number 9 shirt, scored for Nigeria? How many impossible stunts has he performed that ensured Nigerians victory in crucial events (out Japan Korea 1993 and Atlanta 1996)?

As for Rashidi Yekini, the list for his achievements is endless. This is a man who singlehandedly turned national stadium in Lagos, to a slaughter slab. No nation came there, and never left with a bitter experience. To list a few (tho I am not good in remembering years)...
1. Rashidi Yekini's exploit as in Moroc '88 is still fresh in our memories.
2. Algiers '90, he single handled took Nigeria to the finals (even with homebased squad)
3. As bad as Senegal '92 team was, Rashidi still stood out (not minding the blunders from Alloy Agu).
4. Tunisia 94, we all know how how became a household name, becos of his epxloit. We won. No one will easily forget his ballistic missile in Congo, that secured that all important victory against congo in Point-Noire.
5. Btw 1993 and 1994, no one will foget all his goals that led to Nigeria's qualification in nations cup and her first world cup. Is it the impossible goal (from impossible angle) against Algeria in Lagos)? Is it how he scored a beautiful goal against Ivory Coast in Abidjan (tho we lost). Is it the total annihilation of Burkina Faso, here in Lagos.

What took CAF and FIFA to moan a player, means, he did the extra-ordinary. Note, Yekini has always celebrated his goals, alone. In fact, he celebrated his goals more with security officials, than his team mates.

In summary, who ever chooses Kanu before Yekini, must have been born from 1990 upward. So, I forgive such a person. YEKINI...is the greatest KING of GOALS in NIGERIA.
You are absolutely on point. But I blame those born in the 70s for not passing on the history to those born in 90s.

Before Nigeria qualified for the 94 wc, our first ,my parents wouldn't stop talking about Segun Odegbami, muda lawal, Henry nwosu etc even though Nigeria never qualified during their time. I appreciate players like that for paving the way for the 94 team just as much as I appreciate Kanu and his exploits on and off the field.

Yekini will always be the man and he needs to be honored. I'm sure if they put a statue of him at the Abuja stadium, the kids will be more appreciative.
SportsRe: Who Is Nigeria Greatest Number 9 ? by easyelliot(m): 1:29am On Oct 26, 2014
Yekini
If only he played more frequently early in his national team career 84 to 87 and during italia 90 qualifications .....imagine what his goal rate would have been. Of course Keshi and co sabotaged yekini at USA 94 and between 94 and 98 he was used sparingly.

By my math that is 30 games he didnt play ; then factoring that he scored on more than half his games he would have had an 19 goals.

58 caps plus 30 =88 caps
37 goals plus 19 = 56 goals

Yekini 4 life

SportsRe: If You Are Starting An NBA Team Who Would You Pick 1st Lebron, Kobe Or Durant by easyelliot(op): 11:05pm On Oct 23, 2014
@Adedayo516....I agree Pau is soft as tissue paper but with Kobe he won 2 rings so he couldn't be that bad. As soon as his contract was up he left Kobe...huh?

Dwight Howard is no sloutch he is a former defensive player of the yr multiple times and led a bunch of scrubs to the finals. He is traded to La which was his choice and after 1 season despite LA putting up billboards begging him to stay, he ran to Houston for less moneyhuh??

See who kobe is playing with now
....Jeremy Lin and Carlos boozer......chai!!!!!!

Big ego I agree, Ball-hug I agree.: Scares free agents away?.. How? By making them look mediocre?... Good citizenhuh??
Recent article by Henry Abbott confirmed what a lot of ppl suspected......I mean Pau ran to Chicago as a free agent. Dwight Howard ran to Houston....and with all the money they had this off season they couldn't attract one meaningful free agent.

Kobe's image took a major hit after that arrest for allegedly raping that girl in Denver, that he had to settle out of court.
TV/MoviesRe: Avengers 2: Age Of Ultron Trailer Leaked by easyelliot(m): 8:20pm On Oct 23, 2014
I just hope this movie doesn't suck, which seems to be the norm I.e. iron man sequels were never as good as the classic original and Thor2..huhhuh?...however Capt America 2 was better than the first so there is hope.

It would have been nice if they followed the comics and first introduced Ant Man who created Ultron through an Ant man movie, then follow that into TA2.

Tony Stark is being given too much power in this movie by being Ultrons creator......I mean cmon

We shall see.

Me too, preseason is so boring.....

As for black mamba , If I'm starting a team I want a guy who will play well with others not scare away free agents and is a good citizen....Kobe is wanting in that area but u can't deny his talent and will to win.

.......and this is all 3 players in their prime.

For me I would go with Durant (healthy) his length makes him unguardable, he has the best stroke and defensively he can be even better.

Who y'all got?

But seriously we Nigerians are our own worst enemy making ourselves look like over cooked over educated buffoons.
