I don't know if the Seahawks winning would be an upset. I don't see any major weakness in any side of the ball. Even at WR widely touted as a weakness Jermaine Kearse is a very solid play

Lol at your Ravens! I'm a Steeler so no love lost! Can't believe you guys pissed that game twice!
Why didn't u start by saying u were a Steelers fan?.......lol.....at least we showed up to beat y'all.....
SportsRe: Africa Solidly Behind Blatter, Football Officials Say by easyelliot(m): 8:13pm On Jan 28, 2015
This is where CAF should unify and say Blatter, we need 1 extra spot at future WCs and then a potential extra spot via playoff against a European or South American team.

I think the Seahawks will pull off the "upset" over the patriots who, once again have the dark cloud of cheating hanging over them.

If my ravens hadn't chocked away our game we would be here instead of the patriots embarassed

And yet we still haven't seen him play for city or anywhere on planet earth (somebody correct me if I am wrong).

They should let him play now, this is hurting this kids development.
SportsRe: Hayatou’s Regret: Okocha Deserved CAF Awards by easyelliot(m): 12:24am On Jan 12, 2015
I don't know if Caf has this already but if not they should create a CAF legends award for retired players like JJ who were not fully appreciated for what they were.

CultureRe: Culture Or Cruelty? Do We Still Need Tribal Marks?(pics) by easyelliot(m): 1:47am On Jan 01, 2015
My first post of 2015.....happy new year!!!!!!!! May this be the year naija completes her ascension to the top.

Now, to address tribal marks.....this is grade A barbarism in the name of culture. How can we as a country go forward when we are still marking ppl to establish where they are fromhuhhuh?
Who cares where you are from?
Do u have good character?
Are u an honest and true Nigerian?

I don't care if u are from the north south east or west.......

what are u bringing to the table homiehuh??
Oh, u bringing ur tribal mark identifying where u from.......

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Lost $7.92bn To Corruption In 2012 by easyelliot(m): 6:57pm On Dec 17, 2014
Honestly I think the number is low, with no independent organization autonomous enough to audit or check and balance our financial growth and prosperity, we are at the mercy of elected officials to tell us what our worth is and ask us to believe them cause they said so.

Let's not insult ourselves by thinking this administration is the most corrupt........

If a man stole 1000 naira today, does that make him more corrupt that another man who stole 500 naira yesterday......huhhuh

Then u wonder why today's player of Nigerian heritage don't claim Nigeria, but rather claims other countries.

Nigerian leaders have turned this land into an unforgiving place that doesn't remember what u did for country but how much unsubstantiated wealth can be flaunted and who you know.

I know another Nigerian Olympian who is struggling after having served his country, living on the streets and afraid to go back home.

Nigeria is an unforgiving nation, kids, pick somewhere else to represent.

CareerRe: Age Discrimination In The Nigerian Job Market by easyelliot(m): 2:16am On Dec 05, 2014
Swizdoe:
At over-45, you should already have your retirement plan if you work in the civil service.
At that age you should be your own boss and not someone bossing you around except you are uneducated. At that age, your working class days are almost over
No offence, bro, but you are sending a very wrong message. What is this man supposed to do? Kill himself? Give up?

Ur post makes a lot of assumptions that continue to hold us back as a nation.

So if u are a recruiter and you have the power to hire this guy would u? Sounds like your mind was made up as soon as you saw him and realized his age.

SportsRe: Nigeria Football Federation offers Stephen Keshi N84million contract. by easyelliot(m): 2:07pm On Dec 01, 2014
We have no senior competition to participate in, so where was the urgency in signing himhuhhuh

He was owed money understood, pay him and his staff what is owed and start a search for a replacement who will guide us for the next 4 yrs.

Now he gets a raise and its only for 1 yearhuh?? Where is the long term vision? Where is the plan for wc 2018.

We are wasting money on a sport that we no longer have the edge in with players and coaches that treat football as a job not a career. They collect their money and they are gone.

What a waste
SportsRe: Is Mikel Obi Moving To Sunderland? by easyelliot(m): 11:31pm On Nov 29, 2014
I noticed it too. I'm guessing they probably worked on some kind of charity work in the past or maybe they party in the same circles....."see u at the pub for a quick pint?"

Or maybe January he will come knocking.
SportsRe: It Will Be Hard To Find An Original Like Me – Jay Jay Okocha by easyelliot(m):
Goke7:
okocha was just an entertainer, nothing more, it was the entertainment he brought to the game that gave him fame if he was so good, Nigeria should have 3 afcon titles in a row, am not taking anything from though. I just love him for his entertaining skills, that's all.
Blame Abacha for that,
We won in 94, Abacha and his beef with Mandela caused us to pull out in 96 and caf banned us in 98. That era was wasted through no fault of okocha and co
SportsRe: Sacking Me Won't Solve The Problem -keshi by easyelliot(m): 11:25pm On Nov 21, 2014
Arrogant and stubborn to the end. If your players took SA for granted is it not ur job to coach them against that? You are throwing your players under the bus when these are ur players you picked. Our defence has been atrocious, were u not a former defender of notehuh?

Have some pride, the ovation has stopped.
SportsRe: A Call For Disbandment Of This Present Super Eagles by easyelliot(m):
The rise and fall of keshi is complete.

He is an abismal failure as a team manager.

That's not to say he didn't try new players and use that youthful exuberance and luck to win a title and get us to the elimination round of the wc, but his arrogance and stubbornness has ended what should have been a great reign.

Team selection favoritism over actual form will be what they say about his reign. Sticking with out of form players, fighting like a woman with your players, not knowing when to walk away, not knowing when to shut up and be humble.

I went from rooting for him as a coach to absolutely despising his era. Good riddance!!!!!!
SportsRe: Keshi & Crew, Players, Or NFF: Who Is To Blame For Poor Eagles Performance? by easyelliot(m): 9:20pm On Nov 19, 2014
Fifa for not banning us till next year.

I can't wait for the weekend so I can watch premier league, tired of these bunch of amateurs.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs South Africa: AFCON Qualifier (2 - 2) On 19th November 2014 by easyelliot(m):
This is rock bottom.....hopefully we can start working towards 2016 Olympics 2018 wc.

Keshi and his bunch of flops can go count their money and let fresh blood in.

Very dissapointed in the whole team.

I have always thought Peter Rufai was our best goal keeper....but I'm here to declare Enyeama is the best. He is fully deserving of all accolades and I hope he wins African footballer of the year.
