I don't think its as vague as u think...last year dey struggled to admit to their limit...dey don't want a repeat...so as many as registered and had da right jamb combination were invited...as.many.as.loved.to.write.wrote.simple...

Will UI use the Fg criteria for admission in admitting students this year??..

Merit - 45%
Catchment - 35%
Elds - 20%..

If you are observant over the past few years, You will observe that UI only uses the Fg criteria for admission when shortlisting.. They dont use IT for the admission list..

Owing to the fact that no cutoffs for shortlisting were released and all candidates were shortlisted this Year, I think that UI will use IT for the admission list this time..

But we get issue oh.. A recent post just revealed that UI invited less than 8000 aspirants for putme this year.. Meanyle more than 8500 registered.
What does that signify??

UI's method this year is very vague but I believe God will see me through. My visit to Ibadan was my first time of going to Ibadan and it will definitely not be my last..IN JESUS NAME. AMEN!!!

There are basically 2 lists in u.i...The 3rd one last yr was as a result of mistakes while compiling d 1st n 2nd list...For example,a grl is dentistry had 72 and she wasnt on 1st n 2nd list(cutoff was 64).......
The 1st list is for those who met the cutoff for their departments,the 2nd is for people who will be given fallback courses.....

but dis one wey some persons don chose same course as their main course as fallback one and two...wahala dey be dat o...

For anyone who cares to know...d statistical information given by dr. hesjay is true...an mbbs aspirant scored 83percent which was d highest, 7767 were invited, 7064 sat, 703 absent....53.3percent which equal 3746 students scored above 50percent...an education management aspirant scored 15%...from da most reliable source ever...the university herself
