Freezy has come to change the Nigerian rap game in Nigeria forever. After his previously released single titled ‘Badman’, which gained widespread reconigtion and airplay, he has taken it up a notch this time around, with this very capturing freestyle. I’m one person that believes this dude has got a great future before him, and he is surely going to move up in the ranks very soon. In this freestyle titled ‘The UGK(Underground King of Rap) Hot Freestyle’, Freezy recognizes and pays tribute to some fallen stars, including MC Loph who hailed from the same state as himself, Anambra, and most recently, Goldie Harvey, the Nigeria Pop star who died just a few months ago.
Freezy has got to be one of the brightest rap musicians coming out of the South-Eastern part of Nigeria currently, and when you listen to UGK Hot Freestyle, I’m sure you’ll confirm that with me.
According to him,” rap music is beginning to gain acceptance right now in the local music scene, and it’s up to us to give the people what they deserve to hear, which is meaningful and at the same time entertaining stuff”.

Listen carefully to, and download this hot freestyle, ‘UGK Hot Freestyle’ from Freezy. You’ll enjoy, and be sure to share with your friends.

Sorry Guys the link has been fixed now http://www.naijareplay.com/2013/04/ruff-coin-sweet-music-remix-ft-rugged-man-m-i-2shotz-ella.html

One word to describe this new piece by Frank Edwards is 'Beautiful'. Barely two weeks after releasing his Gospel Reggae song 'Papa Nara Ekele', the Gospel Maestro treats us to a new soulful music titled 'Beautiful' where he sings about how all things are beautiful..."cos in His time, He made all things beautiful". This is truly a 'Beautiful' piece (pun intended).

Its been a long time I had this kind of feeling, feeling special being a Nigeria. Yes, even though I've been around in this country for too long, but from what I hear from the older folks, things used to be like this. We used to be the giants of Africa. We used to be Africa's powerhouse, in all aspects of life. Economy, sports (especially football), culture and what have you.

It has been really saddening watching my beloved country slip into a long bout of comatose, of decay and insignificance. It has heartbreaking watching my country become a laughing stock on so many fronts. Bad Governance, infrastructural decay, corruption in high places have played their roles in trying to cripple Nigeria. Its been a long rough ride. But wait... isn's there any hope?

The events of the past few weeks have been an astounding testament that things can change for good. Things can work out if we want it to. There is always light at the end of the tunnel.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have given us a timely reminder, that given the right mind frame, each of us, each Nigerian can be a story changer.
Nobody gave them the chance. It was never envisaged that the Super eagles would go thus far Africa's largest sporting event, the Africa Cup of Nations. Who believed Nigeria would knock out the clear pre-tournament favourites, Ivory Coast, and relegate them to the background? With all their big name 'stars'?

Who believed it was this group of largely 'untested' players who would finally begin the process of reclaiming our lost glory?

Though there were sheer moments of individual brilliance in the Eagles' performances, think about the Victor Moses' heroics that kept us in the competition after what seemed like an unending run of poor results in the group stage. Think of Nigeria's prolific striker, Emmanuel Emenike, who went on to grab the medal for the tournament's highest goal scorer. What of the bravery of the home-based player, Sunday Mba who has already made a name for himself? he scored the winning goal that dumped the mighty Ivorians out of the competition, and he scored the trophy winning goal in the final match against Burkina Faso. Yet in all these, the team worked as a unit, and no single player was seeking a personal triumph, and this was the secret behind their success in South Africa.

How much of a leaf can we Nigerians borrow from these group of youngsters? How much part can we play in in transforming Nigeria, not just in football but in all other aspects of life? Each one of us has a major role to play.

My people say that 'when a lot of people gather to urinate together, it foams'.
For the first time in a long time, I feel proud being a Nigerian. Long may this feeling continue!
Congratulations Nigeria and Nigerians!

Istn't this guy a complete joke?

Chelsea's interim manager is under immense pressure after a run of disastrous results that leaves them one point above fourth-placed Tottenham FC, out of the League cup and facing a major task ahead in the FA Cup.

Rafa’s Bridge reign is in disarray after a disastrous run that includes Saturday’s 3-2 loss to Newcastle

Mourinho, who is sure to leave Spanish champions Real Madrid this summer, is ready to listen to Abramovich, although he has already been bombarded with lucrative job offers.

All the Special One is waiting for is the call from Blues’ billionaire owner Roman Abramovich, who is desperately seeking a new manager to take over from reviled interim boss Rafa Benitez

But it remains to be seen if the trigger-happy owner will once more take back a manager he sacked rather unconvincingly in 2007.

The Nigerian Government has liquidated it's power corporation, The Power Holding Corporation of Nigeria (PHCN). Consequently, employees of the liquidated company will be absorbed into 18 newly registered firms.

Additionally, the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has also withdrawn the funds it had previously allocated for the maintenance of the PHCN head office.
The Minister for Power, Prof. Barth Nnaji confirmed this during the weekend in Abuja.

According to him,

“PHCN is no longer legally in existence and as a result, the regulatory agency simply in its responsibility had instructed the market operator that the PHCN headquarters is not a market participant and it should no longer get funds in effect from this month and that is just in carrying out the law; implementing what is stated in the law.
Lack of infrastructure maintenance has also contributed to the below par level of power supply in Nigeria
“Now, the PHCN workers in order to get paid, they need to be transferred to where they can be useful. You talked about redundancy, what’s the point of people just sitting in their offices doing nothing? Who is benefiting? Nigerians are paying their salaries and they need to be working to continue to advance the power sector.”

The Nigerian government has for a long time been battling with decay and and decline in its power sector, which many has attributed to widespread corruption that has bedeviled many sectors of its economy. But the current government has been said to be making significant structural and policy changes to effect a lasting improvement in the sector.
