eph12:Don't mind the coco nut head. Why can't Uche Oga as well wait till Ikpeazu has exhausted his options? Why the rush? |
Chukazu:How If I may ask? Until the SC says so, your conviction is as lifeless as the word itself |
Ikpeazu is the governor and remains so. Period! Uche Ogar is one of the subsidy criminals that put Nigeria in its current state. Ikpeazu is from Aba and he's already working to restore Ana's lost glory whole Ogar us from the same locality as the two stupid governors that destroyed Abia. Ikpeazu's Abia South has not smelled the government house for the past 16 years while Abia Central and Abia North has held sway for 8 years each whole abandoning the town that supplies 80% of Abias IGR. Ikpeazu's Abia South people have kept cool for 16 good years on the basis of the gentlemanly agreement that one of thier sons will be in Government house cone 2015.it came to pass. Thier son is working hard to restore Aba, the pride of Abia, the Japan of Africa and his own hometown and an impostors oil subsidy criminal is coming to be a governor in a state he did not campaign in? What rascality! Ikpeazu's Abia South/Ukwa Ngwa people make up 65% of the total population of Abia having about 9 out of the total 17 LGAs in Abia, pray tell me how would theyot be able to vote in their own in a free and fair election? Ikpeazu has worked for Abians, heading the Abia State environmental protection Agency, and served in that capacity until his election, Abia State Government is his boss. His tax is deducted at source. Why not question the Abia board of internal revenue if there are any irregularities in his tax receipt? A people's quietness, hoteliers and hospitality shiould not be mistaken for cowardice and stupidity. A word is enough for the wise |

Barely one week after the freezing of the personal account of Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, is set to probe Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, over the withdrawal of over N11 billion from the Government’s account that occurred between October 2015 and February 2016. According to a report published by Punch, the anti-graft agency was directed by the Attorney General of the Federation, AGF, and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, to conduct the investigation. The Director of Finance and Administration of the Rivers State Government House, Kingsley Fubara, allegedly withdrew the funds from the Government’s Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, account. According to an EFCC source, roughly N5.1 billion was withdrawn by Fubara in ten tranches between October and December 2015. He withdrew another N6.1 billion from the same account in eleven tranches between January and February 2016. The EFCC will also be investigating another suspicious transaction in which N1.5 billion was transferred from the government’s CBN account to a Zenith Bank account, belonging to one Samuel Anya in January 2016. “We were also asked to investigate the withdrawal of N1.5 billion on or about January 27, 2016 by one Samuel Anya of 69B Forces Avenue, old GRA, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, from the State’s account with CBN through the transfer of the money to his account 0248922015 with Zenith Bank,” an EFCC source disclosed. Rivers State Commissioner for Information and Communications Austin Tam-George, denied the allegations made by the EFCC. “It is clear that the EFCC is now a fully integrated unit of the All Progressives Congress with the sole mandate of hunting down opposition politicians and critics of the federal government,” he said. “When will this embarrassing media roulette they call anti-corruption come to an end?”. This development is the latest scandal to rock the Rivers State government. http://trend.com.ng/3377/wiked-efcc-set-to-freeze-another-governors-account/ |

DBISHOP1:Everything cannot be fixed at once. The decay in Abia was monumental. Keep calm and observe the transformation. |
Activities and vehicular movement were put on hold today, 15th June, 2016 as pensioners and other government workers blocked a major roundabout coonecting various parts of the eastern city of Owerri. Some of the pensioners who were seen carrying placards and mostly on black attires lamented the way in which the authorities have abandoned them, even as they are being owed arrears of up to 17-19 months. The senior citizens were also singing very touching solidarity songs, threatening not to leave the location until their cries are attended to. As at the time of filing this report when Trend NG visited the location, there was little or no vehicular movement, as the old men and women sat even under the rain on the ground of the roads leading to the Imo government house, Okigwe road axis, Wetheral and Assumpta Avenues. When Trend NG approched a a visibly angry and worn out old pensioner, he told us “…Rochas is owing us, many of us have not been paid for almost 1 year and six months now, some are being owed up to 1 year and eight months. We are not leaving here today until some talks to us to reassure us…we will even defecate around this whole place, and you know what that means…infact we won’t leave”. Trend NG did not observe any visible signs of any government representatives addressing the aged crowd. https://trend.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/IMG_20160615_114414.jpg https://trend.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/IMG_20160615_114422.jpg https://trend.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/IMG_20160615_114428.jpg https://trend.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/IMG_20160615_114439.jpg https://trend.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/IMG_20160615_114456.jpg https://trend.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/IMG_20160615_114531.jpg https://trend.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/IMG_20160615_114557.jpg https://trend.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/IMG_20160615_114657.jpg https://trend.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/IMG_20160615_114726.jpg https://trend.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/IMG_20160615_114400-1.jpg https://trend.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/IMG_20160615_114805.jpg https://trend.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/IMG_20160615_114823.jpg Our attempts to reach the necessary quarters proved abortive Meanwhile in a related development, some pensioners have slumped and died, after being manhandled by security operatives who were sent to disperse them. https://trend.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/IMG_20160615_114823.jpg https://trend.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/13435521_917487751693138_4735084671023922820_n.jpg https://trend.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/13427917_917556485019598_4397026911323224847_n.jpg Source: http://trend.com.ng/3311/many-slump-and-die-owerri-shut-down-by-pensioners-over-unpaid-arrears/ |
Latest on Buhari's trip to London! For the record, Buhari is not coming to London for ear infection treatment but for a secret negotiation meeting with the Niger Delta Avengers An insider who is privy to the behind the scene arrangement on how to stop the further threat of the Avengers to oil installations in the region says Buhari will be in London to meet with Jonathan and the representatives of the British government funding truce to the impasse. It would be recalled that Jonathan was briefly in Nigeria 4 days ago and met with the President in his office before jetting out again, back to London. A day after that, Buhari met Obasanjo to seek his advice on the crisis in Niger Delta. The Duo, Obasanjo and Jonathan advised Buhari to meet with the agitators in a neutral place away from the media - prompting the London trip. According to my source, the Intel at the government's disposal on the Niger Delta Avengers revealed their connection to two Arabian oil producing countries who are said to be angry with Buhari's government for treating the Shiites as nothing and the continuous detention without trial of its leader, Zakzakky. Also, the weapons and technology at these guys disposal is not something a serious government should take lightly. There are speculation that they also have connection to the North Korean government. Nigeria is currently bleeding seriously because of the activities of the Avengers, my source told me that some of the boys behind the Avenger will be arriving London tomorrow on the invitation of the British government to be part of the peace process. Obasanjo and some other south south leaders are expected to join the meeting in London anytime from tomorrow as well. All of these will be away from the media. But you will see the pointer as the week unfolds! President Buhari is not in London because of ear infection, he is here for something more serious! You read it from here first! www.trend.com.ng |
