The only thing that keeps the black man going.
The only reason why a Nigerian will wake up in the morning and tell you "E go beta" with no clear plan of how e go take better.

Our parents prayed like this with no clear picture of what and how they wanted their children and grand children's life to be.
All they told us to do was pray. 2018 has been my best year so far since I was born.

I got to understand the concept of problem Identification and problem solving. And this has given me the highest I have ever made in my entire life. All our parents and grand parents were supposed to do was understand that there was a constant fight between good and bad. And good had to work twice as hard to curb bad.

Good requires building (difficult), Bad requires destroying (easy). Thus Good needs to work twice as hard. But all they did was pray, pray, pray and pray. This is why I have no regards for prayers. Because I have solved problems for clients and I have traveled to different states in a very short while and well payed. And in about 4years, I have not uttered any prayer and whatever I touch becomes gold.

I'll see where all these prayers, retreat etc will take us 10years from now, when oil prices would have dropped (due to alternative energy sources etc), and unemployment rate would have risen by 30X probably. And crime rate would be at the all time high. To think of it that someone invited me to go and waste my time at the retreat listening to things that are abstract.

I don't wish Nigerians / Africans bad. I'm just a realist. People hardly like us.

It's my greatest honour to hear you are making progress bro. I sincerely wish you many more in good health and happiness.

However, whatever you do, wherever you go and whenever you take a step, there's need for God's factor sir. Soon and very soon, you will know sir........... Either by kissing or kicking you into the kingdom of God.

Hope: As Deeper Life Bible Church Starts Her December Retreat (dec. 21-25, 2018)

Dear fellow Deeper Lifer,

Retreat Is Here! again
21st To 25th Dec.,2018.

I took my pen to write this after tears have rolled and prayers offered for days before the Head of the Church. I want you to pay attention and make this viral so as for many if not all would read and I hope majority will get their ears and hearts circumcised to understand and cry out to the chief harvester before harvest day is suddenly declared in heaven.(Jer.6:10)

Retreat started over 3decades (30years) ago in Deeper Life Bible Church when some of you, my readers, were not yet born and many also were. It has always been a time of solemn assembly and time of fresh reconnection with dynamic Grace and spiritual renewal. Alas! it is unfortunate to discover today that the Spiritual essence of retreat is long and fast forgotten and replaced with fantasies and almost like a ritualistic moments to some.

It is sad to observe that many;

✔Now gathered to listen to God's word to get their Facebook/social media accounts updated almost immediately after the message when the messages has not even been absorbed and prayed through into their own lives.

✔Listen only to update their ego and head information. Tranformative word has no impact in them again.

✔Majority are usually busy chatting/receiving calls even within the halls of meetings as messages are ongoing.

✔Majority get their notes updated and bible well marked during the messages but failed to tarry on their knees till the word of God fully MARKED their hearts and the word became flesh in them and now.

✔Many prefer to rush for Physical food when sins are still daily meals in their lives though they are workers or leaders in the church. They neglect to tarry till SIN weary out of them by Grace and faith in him.

✔Many are so much chocked with activitites at camp and time to seek Help in Shiloh past them by.What will become their Hannah is a concern.

✔Some see it as a place to hook up to a partner or meet old &new friends.

✔Fashion and self parades.They use the toilet/washroom at odd time to shift attention to themselves.

✔Time to Express hypocrisy of highest order. You are an hypocrite to post a message you have not fully digested and pray over into your life. Enough of presenting Abraham as your father when God of Abraham is far to your heart.

✔A time those we look up to as leaders give time to talking while children are listening to the word/praying.

✔A time jotting and taking notes are no longer necessary because of familiarity with the Word or preachers.

Here are the main reasons you are to be at the reateat;

✔ A place to study and dine in the word in a more expository way.

✔A place to Get your ears attentive without distractions before God.

✔Gathering together of, men, and women, and children and strangers (Invited guests) before God to seek him in retreat for renewal, rekindling, revival and reexamination of lives.

✔A place to learn from saints that have gone ahead and Jesus. A place to learn of Jesus and pray in his likenesses into our heart.Matt 11:29.

✔ A place the referential fear of the Lord God that makes one depart from evil is to be instilled into the deepest heart.

✔Time to observe to do all the words of this law.

✔ A time prayers are offered at all corners by thirsting and hungry souls seeking For God like Jacob. A time real encounter with Jesus is a norm.

✔A place we get our hearts saved, sanctified, baptized and other blessings.

✔A place we see matured believers praying and paying attention to the word.

✔If you are part of those technology is almost replacing God in you, leave the phone at home and face essential at this retreat.

✔Associate with those that are ready to see God not the indiscipline ones that give to talking and distractions during messages.

✔A place to ensure our Moses's "Rod" is still valid-(Authority and current Christian experiences of salvation,sanctification and Spirit power).

✔Be determined like Jacob to receive. Settle your accounts with God. Seek him passionately till he reign true holiness on you.

✔ A time friends choose to sit in separate hall so as for distractions to be subdued, except the time to have joint intercession.

Deuteronomy 31:11‭-‬12.

Is it nothing to you that TRUE HOLINESS is fading away in our time? Is it nothing to you that the retreat is turning to casual gathering in your life? Is it nothing to you that the word is no longer having impact in your heart and life? Let not this pitcher of holiness break in your time. Jesus only is our all in all.

I call you to a solemn assembly before God as you determined to make this retreat a time to cry till his image is stamped in your heart. Declare fast and prayers to ensure you connect to the same power that brought Christ from the grave. Be not too encumbered, one thing is needful at this retreat, tarry to learn and cry out till his Grace is poured upon you.Waste not your life further,the time is far spent,harvesting is here.

Many of us have turned to the Israelites that are giving to doing the physical skin circumcision but the Spiritual meaning is long forgotten.Circumcision is to be a covenant relationship with God that should set them apart for his glory.Many now attend retreat but the Spiritual essence is long garbaged/forgotten.What a delusion! Lord have mercy on us.

Baba Kumuyi has not changed,we are the deluded compromisers that must seek help lest we are replaced by God.

Professionals from the prison-related agencies all over the country came to present papers on the way forward.

Dignitaries at the two days conference include: President, Prison Fellowship International, Mr. Ian Elliot; Prison Fellowship Nigeria President, E.D. (The Law), Controller of Prison, Lagos Command, Mr. T.O. Ladipo; Lagis SMEDAN Coordinator, Mr Jide, President of PRAWA, Dr. Uju, South East PFN, Archdeacon Agbo, delegates from different prison Fellowship membership churches.

"Indeed, society's peace is determined by its prison" Mr. Ladipo.

On a personal note, it's a privilege to be one of the delegates.

A 7yr old sunday school boy asked his teacher, 1st John 2:15-16 says "do not love the world" but John 3:16 says "for God so loved the world". So why did God love the world and He is preventing us from loving it too? If you were the teacher what would be your answer?
