Netochi: I feel ashamed to use the word "low IQ" but watching my son been pushed around can be heartbreaking. He does not even have a mind of his own most times. I really need him to be tougher and I thought a military school will mould him. A secondary school Teach him how to have his own mind. Make him understand he has a choice and a voice. He should utilized it. Since you always monitor him, I suggest you help him out. Each time he wants to back out or down from conversation with his peers, or being threatened by any of them. Make him stand up to them. Don't pet his feeble mind. I could remember as a child, my elder brother will always come home crying because he was beaten by his agemate. My mum could not tolerate that nonsense from him. Whenever he comes crying, mum will send him back to retaliate. "So you are crying because of your mate? I am ashamed of you. Go back and beat him and make sure you do, if you don't do, then there will be no food" mum always tell My brother. With the mention of no food for food, being a food lover, my brother will dash out to complete that mission. My little brother at a time suffered the same fate, mum used same method. This time she told my little bro anytime he sees his opponent, he should start beating him. Whether he is going to school, market anyway at all.( the boy look for his trouble and his mum came to his defense) Mind you, my mum don't indulge them when they look for troubles ooo. They always have their piece of cake when they looked for trouble. One mistake you will make is fighting for him or standing up for him. That's his duty and fight. All you need do is encouraging him and he should not look for people's troubles o Also, engage in children's activities. Every opportunity to get him exposed should be utilized. Children debates, Children's football etc. Any activities to get him in children's group. It will help him build his confidence and face crowd. He doesn't need to be perfect but to be involved, with time he will be get your motives and find his purpose. No time is too early to fix your child's deficiency, if you let it be, you might not correct it again. Remember care and support with love will help him define his identity. No time is to late correct a child's deficiency. |

lefulefu: well i get u though ...dont know if u have heard of this writer who writes horror books and scripts for hollywood..he is called stephen king.do you know his first book Carrie which was made into a hollywood blockbuster movie was dumped into the trash at first? It was his wife who went through the trash dug out the writings read it through and pursuaded Stephen king to give it to a publisher. After so much pursuation stephen king did just that and the book became a success and when hollywood adapted the story it became an instant success.Maybe if he was married to an emptied headed wife whose only function in life was to slay then stephen king would have never been a succesful writer but an unknown teacher in some unknown high school.Part of his success today can be attributed to his wife .And the way king and his wife first met was through the library.Stephen king he was looking for a certain book then he saw her then asked if she saw any book of such in the library and she directed him where the book was. From there he said he asked her out cos he was attracted to her and thought her beautiful and she said she agreed cos she thought him handsome and was attracted to him as well .oyibo their own woing no dey take long.if the girl likes u and u ask her out she will agree..but naija the girl will be playing and using u as her maga .i bet if stephen king was nigerian his wife would have been nagging to death and rarely giving him time to concentrate on his ambition as a writer . Yumi. Stop painting every Nigerian women with one black brush. Many women have helped their men achieved success and it went under carpet. Nobody talked about it. It's quite unfortunate you met brain-draining-ladies. it's nobody's fault, you choose them over earnest women out there on your search for big ukwu. Nigeria women love to their men successful. No dey asslick white woman and blackmail your women. |

therealMcCain: LESSON 1:Never reveal an unregistered domain name unless you are willing to loose them. Always blur them out.
LESSON 2: That SH rejected a name doesnt mean its a bad name, there are so many reasons. eg if SH has too many of such similar names, yours will be rejected, its no longer a matter of quality but quatity.
This advice does not in any way validate the names you submitted. You were close with the 1st name. Ok. Thanks dear. I really appreciate this. Lemme see what I can achieve with the one I submitted today. |

therealMcCain: Explain further?
SH cannot sell your name without you accepting to list it after approval.
Did you click on accept in the "pending commision approval"?
Have you checked "rejected" tab to see if the name is there?
When you say status changed to sold, where did you see this?
can you send a screenshot Thanks for your help. I have seen them. There were pushed to rejected tab. #Sad. I have submitted another though. |

I know my mistake but some people here actually think I should I shouldn't talk at all because I was at his house. That's insensitive and messed up. Talk to Someone else offline. Nairaland has never been a healthy platform to seek support from esp. with this issue. if possible delete this thread and create a new thread in diary section, with that you don't need to read their insensitive comments. |

soulbroken761: I created this thread because I needed to talk immediately. And I felt better. Fortunately, the two people I told this morning blamed me for my part but they are the right people to tell because they will mess up the guy. Even if I have no case in court, he will live a troubled life for quite some time.
As for me I know I will be fine in no time. I will see it as just bad séx. I have what it takes to make him lose his job and I will do it , if that is the only thing I can do myself .
Staying longer and reading some comments will traumatize me more than the violence and I have to move on asap. you don't have convince nl men to believe your story. every story written from a female perceptive is fake and untrue. Do whatever that will make you justified. Don't listen to their nadada rubbish. Don't ever unghost yourself to any of these men in process of Convincing if want your sanity intact on nairaland. I pray you heal faster. Always place your safety first before that illusion they tag love. Stop Sleeping over in a man house if you don't want to share sexual history with him.
