A 19-year-old boy in Iowa, United States of America, Helmon Betwell, has been arrested and charged by the police after he raped and killed a woman because he 'had nothing better to do.'
After he was arrested, Betwll of Dubuque told the police that he sexually assaulted and killed the woman because he was bored and did not have anything better to occupy his time.
He also confessed he did not know the victim and had chosen her at random, believing the woman 'was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.'

Betwell has been charged with first-degree murder, first-degree sexual assault and two counts of third-degree theft.

Lt. Scott Baxter of the Dubuque Police Department, said that the woman who was found without identifying information and with serious facial injuries was later identified as 66-year-old Nancy Ann Krapfl.

Kayla told local press: "I turned around and he was getting down on one knee. As he opened the ring box it fell out of the box and fell through the cracks on the deck and into the water."

The incident cause quite a panic, but hope wasn’t lost as onlookers helped launch a search for the ring.
Kayla even started running to nearby restaurants to ask if anyone had goggles so she could dive for her brand new engagement ring.

She added: "After ten flashlights, and five pairs of goggles and over 1.5 hours of searching in the water…the ring was found.

"Everyone at the bar was cheering. All of a sudden, everyone was chanting “Propose again! Do it again!”
"It was the best feeling in the world. My fiancé, soaking wet, smelling like salty, fishing water, proceeded to get down on one knee and put the beautiful ring on my finger!"

When Jennifer Cramblett and Amanda Zinkon, a white lesbian couple approached an Ohio, USA, sperm clinic to be artificially inseminated, they thought they would get a blonde white daughter.

But a mistake by the clinic turned out that they were 'blessed' with a baby of a mixed race and they have vowed to sue the clinic.
Cramblett who carried the baby, told the Daily Mail that she picked a white, blonde-haired, blue-eyed donor labelled No. 380 but she was inseminated with a black man's sperm by mistake and that clumsy mistake by the sperm bank is causing her and her partner untold hardship and mental suffering.

The couple say the are suing the clinic because their daughter, Payton, will feel out of place in their mostly-white hometown in Ohio.

The sperm bank has already sent the couple an apology note and a refund but they are still going ahead with the lawsuit which reads:

‘Getting a young daughter’s hair cut is not particularly stressful for most mothers, but to Jennifer, it is not a routine matter, because Payton has hair typical of an African American girl.
Jennifer was crying, confused and upset. All of the thought, care and planning that she and Amanda had undertaken to control their baby’s parentage had been rendered meaningless in an instant.
Jennifer’s excitement and anticipation of her pregnancy was replaced with anger, disappointment and fear.’

Cramblett also told the NBC News:
"I am happy that I have a healthy child but I’m not going to let them get away with not being held accountable. You can’t just go, 'Well you got a baby so you should be happy.'"

Law enforcement told TMZ, who reported the news, that the police found drugs in his motel room but it is not known if that was the cause of his death. The outlet reports that his disappearance could be in connection to a recent breakup with his boyfriend. Since the sad news broke, fans have mourned his death on Twitter.

Toby, whose legal name is Tobias Strebel, was last seen in West Hollywood on Aug. 18, and was speculated to be driving a grey 2009 Toyota Camry. “This is very unusual for him to be missing. He hasn’t done any, not shown up for no reason, no note or anything,” Toby’s friend Mel Espinoza told ABC7 after he was reported missing.

Toby, 35, is best known for appearing on E!’s Botched and TLC’s My Strange Addiction. He made his obsession with Justin known, revealing he spent $100,000 to look like the “What Do You Mean?” singer. During an episode of My Strange Addiction, Toby said, “Some people buy fancy cars or fancy mansions. What I do with my money is I get surgery to look more like Justin Bieber.”

A 22-year-old man simply identified as Emmanuel, reportedly went to ease himself in the early hours of Tuesday, leaving his father and sister inside their one-room apartment. His sister, who had waited for his return, went to check on him in the toilet situated at the boys quarters of the building on Alafia Street. She reportedly found her brother on fire on the ground which made her raise an alarm, which attracted tenants. They rushed him to 2 hospitals which were said to have rejected Emmanuel. He reportedly died before he could get proper help.

While the deceased’s family alleged that Emmanuel was set ablaze by the landlady and her children, the latter, who is on the run, alleged that the former intended to set the building ablaze but was caught in his own web.

Investigation revealed that there had been a lingering disagreement between Emmanuel’s family and the landlady. It was gathered that both parties had been to the Ajeromi Police Station several times to settle quarrels in the past.

A resident, who spoke on strict condition of anonymity blamed policemen at Ajeromi for not preventing Emmanuel’s death.
According to the resident:

“I blame policemen at Ajeromi for the death of this young man. Emmanuel’s father and the landlady have reported their misunderstandings to the police several times. Nothing was done to bring a lasting solution to the quarrel. Had they acted when they were supposed to, this would not have happened.” “I woke up with the alarm raised by some tenants that night. We were told that it was the deceased that lit the fire.

“However, the question is how is it possible judging from the distance between his apartment and where the fire was said to have been lit? This is what the Police should look into.”


Another resident said:

“How come he sustained fire burns if he was in his room? How come only the window of the affected room was gutted by fire if he did not intend to set the building ablaze? “Many are of the view that the petrol could have spilled on him as he struck the match. Besides, he was alone at the scene of the fire.”


Police sources said the landlady, whose identity could not be immediately ascertained, is currently on the run, adding that effort was on to apprehend her with a view to commencing investigation into the matter.
Operatives at the homicide section of the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigations Department, SCIID, Yaba are currently investigating the matter.
