Resort savings and loans private placement is out. ordinary share of 1N each at 1N per share. Deap capital owns majority shares. Its closing by March 4. but am sure they would have rounded up before then. Minimum unit is 100000. Prospectus put listing date in a year's time.

If we are to judge them by the parents company, this one na another kill oh.

I go use part of my loot for Deap take invest in this one, though I fear return money palavah oh,

As usual , this is subject to  inherent risk associated with investment of this nature.

Happy investing

@all,

Dangote flour certs are out. call your broker or go directly to oceanic registrars to collect your 'tasere' allotment.

I hope First Aluminion don turn for goods oh. Bought some at 4.21/4.22 yesterday. Strictly for one week  CICO. Linkage has not moved the way I thought. Though am in a green territory, make the thing waka reach only 5.50 or 5.80 make I sell. My broker managed to get yatchloads for me at 5.02. This one is strictly for CICO too. one week but it be like say I go extend her to two weeks make it meet my target oh.

There is no better time to buy a stock like when its falling heavily, na risk but it must find its level, The difference between a winner and loser in this CICO game na your appetite for risk. I dey buy stock as If I don care wether I lose my money. Na kamikaze style I dey use. no emotions involved . I just buy,

Japaul too is a good candidate, na N15 i dey target oh. strictly for CICO too. one week with room for two weeks ext if he no meet my target,

@Pumping777, I dey greet oh. He be like say na only u be another identified 1-week CICOan in nairaland,

Linkage,

I don enter am today oh. candlestick or matchstick! as long as this level of liquidity persist in the market, the only way i can guide against sudden shift na to have short time in mind. so my CICO na for only 1week.  10 percent profit after cost  deduction is good for me. so na to bail out on thursday if all goes according to plan.I dont need a soothsayer to tell me  stock wey don dey lose for the past week amidst excessive sectoral bullish run must surely turn back.

Nascon-  Una suppose know say Nascon no fit continue like that, If you dey do CICO. i wonder while u dey expect  50% profit. CICO na strictly for short term in my dictionary. If you claim you dey do CICO for  stock wey u buy 6 months ago, na hyper CICO be that oh. The rule is not to be too greedy unless of course you get better backup like the recently declared bonus and dividend  for DEAP CAPITAL. with that you fit stay with the stock for as long as u want. no problems.

we know  say NSE is sweet but dont take it for granted. ur profit can evaporate before your eyes as quickly as you make it. This time, its better you lower your exit threshold . If you dey make 10% each month, you know where you go dey by the end of the year- the level at which u operate notwithstanding.

This you Nascon - which kin profit you make on it oo? the price has not add much upswing - maybe 10% after commission? Most people wont be selling now - a lot of people are waiting for it to reach at least 20
10% is good for me. I am a volume player. still selling tomorrow.
InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by ebony9ja(m): 8:16pm On Feb 11, 2008
I sold all my Deap capital stocks today. mainly between 10.44- 10.48. Did I sell too late .Nah! smart investors have started selling since last Friday. This is one of my biggest loot till date. 15m in a month is my very own example of  money well made. From now on, na CICO i dey oh. buy on monday to sell on friday. week in week out.

I will reiterate that Deap is still a cadidate for short term gains if you can play it smart. I think they will use the first qtr result to shape up the price before slamming T.S on it. My intel tells me they are coming out in April. so if the price goes down post declaration, u better stsrt buying before they release the result.

wapco is not a good CICO candidate in my books. I am skeptical of a solitary upward price movement of WAPCO. Its too wobbly. I will rather stay outside than join the larfarge train. maybe I will change my mind in two weeks.

Getting set to sell Nascon tomorrow. The price may start going down by wednesday. The stock has passed my weekly CICO test. Am offloading tomorrow. If you get nerve or a long timer, please stay oh.

@oxfordkid,

sorry for my late response. Yes, I plan to sell Deap capital, how many units are you looking at, my exit period is between wednesday - friday of next week, unless you are asking for more than 3m units, i dey kampe, 'aseju lo ku'. This gain is enough.

Ha-ha-ha-ha Ololufemi, very funny.
While not sounding like a killjoy, you may be celebrating your flight take off too early, what is making BCC drop that cannot affect WAPCO ?. As far the current environment persist where herd mentality and sentiments have driven fundamentals to one side, WAPCO may experience turbulence by monday. it might as well shed the current gain before you say FO2!

people will rather buy penny stock than all these highly priced stock unless bulk of the shares are concentrated on few hands, Another is fantanstic dividend and bonus, I don't see what can move the stock right now, just my 2cent.

I am actually thinking of getting into Nascon. when am thinking, it means am already in 25%. Dont ask me for fundamentals oh. we all know what the basic indices are on this stock.My hunch on this fell on the side of sentiment and others factors that pple may find ridiculous- that is if you are all so technical about stocks,  Some of my biggest gains in the market were made as a result of my propensity to follow my hunch.  One thing is sure however, it seems it has bottomed out. N15 to N16 is a good stock up price for me, you dont make reasonable gains if you keep going with the masses, You should strive to look into areas where others are not looking or better still - fail to look as a result of fear, At this price, if It gains N3, I can get out smilling.from where i am sitting, Nascon should be able to do that with 3rd qtr result, The ridiculous part, I will say it later.

Sorry, don't know nothing about DVCF Oil & Gas. Seems like it's some kind of fund. No idea what it is.
DVCF oil and gas is partly owned by Deap Capital and management plc, So you can safely infer that substantial part of their profit goes to Deap Capital.percentage ownership: 29%. They finance oil and Gas projects . like given money to contractors to execute projects and share the profits afterwards, They are in to other business too. That all i can remember about them.

hope this helps.

This is really important. My friend gave my stockbroker half of her PENSION/GRATUITY money to do short to medium time.
my broker bought AIICO & LASACO.
aiico has been on TS but we are waitng, please do u know if LASACO is also going on TS.
i don't want to be in trouble if she wants to collect her money before end of TS. (SEPT 2007 to MARCH 2008 )was the agreement with my broker & he promised 60 - 70% return.
If you go by BID volume behind AIICO, then you are in for a good time. one thing is sure,  AIICO will not stop until its price is at par with others.  Wouldnt know about Lasaco. it depends on the price at which the broker got the stock for her. But the 3rd quarter result was good. The only concern is the high OS- Most insurance stocks seem to be suffering from overbloated OS,
