Truth be told , Ebonyi is the most backward state in the southern Nigeria. Most places in ebonyi state doesn't even have drinking water, no road, no school, no health facility.

Ebonyi produces only illiterates and miscreants. Our citizens are all over Nigeria hawking gala and bread but our leaders doesn't see the need to invest in human resources and education. For instance, is Ebonyi building mall for army of poor people of Ebonyi state? Human capital development and education is the future of Ebonyi state.

There are different dialects in Igboland just like in every other places. I'm from owerri and my dialect would be a comic relief in the ears of an Ntezi man. Does that mean owerri language is not Igbo? There's also the central Igbo language used for academic purpose.

Can you compare the unique peculiarities of the Ebonyi spoken Igbo to that of Badagry people in Lagos State?

Ask Yorubas and they will tell you that Badagry language is totally different from Yoruba language but they are still Yorubas!

Ebonyi language in all its uniqueness is more Igbo than Badagry language would ever be Yoruba.

I understand their language vividly.

Lets face reality for once. I am from ikwo in Ebonyi state, but truth be told, what we speak in Ebonyi is not igbo. Do you know that I dare not speak Ebonyi direct where igbos from say Anambra folks are gathering. Our language and culture is quite different from what igbos speak.

I have been seeing pictures of my governor inspecting Ebonyi mall of recent. But what I usually ask myself, what will they sell in that mal? Will they upgrade gala hawking there? Why borrow money to build a mall when most Ebonyi people are poor and uneducated.

Wait a minute, recently poverty ranking was released and poverty level in Ebonyi stood at almost 90%, this is among the highest in Nigeria right now.

How will shops at that mall survive considering the fact that aside the NBS report it is manifestly clear that Ebonyi people are among the poorest people in Nigeria. The mall is another waste of resources because our people are still very very poor, the poorest in the entire southern Nigeria. It is a total waste, just like the flyover in state that hasn't seen up to 50 cars since it was constructed 2yrs ago. Our people are scattered all Lagos, PH, Onitsha, Warri, Kano, etc, hawking one thing or the other. Are these people the ones that will patronize the mall?

Our people are mostly illiterates, and do majorly menial odd jobs. Educationally, Ebonyi state is the most backward in southern Nigeria. I was thinking that our governor should focus on education and human capital development to move our state from this demeaning level we are.

This is uncalled for, though Ebonyi is a backward state with some of the most uneducated Nigerians. Ebonyi needs our help
