Because chief of staff is the acting governor...they run the state. Deputy governor is the worst job to have. I don't know of a deputy governor who became a governor except if the governor died or incapacitated.

Lol. Anybody who thinks APC will lose in edo has got their brains taking them for a low ride! Yes edo is niger delta and south south but edo is equally so far from the South South and niger delta, it could pass for a middle belt state. Unlike other south southern states which could be 80 percent PDP, edo state is just 55 percent PDP to be generous. With the incumbency of Adams, the Federal might, and the 'fakeness' of the Pastor, APC wins edo hands down. If any thing contrary wants to happen the election will be declared inconclusive! Swallow me for this comment. Iam ready to bet my left kidney and my left ball, Obaseki is the next governor.
