This is my 3rd time of writing jamb and God finally answered my call with double admission from 2 schools.. (federal university otuoke bayelsa state and federal university ndufu alike Ebonyi state..)
Am very happy but at the same time confuse because the two institution offered me a different course..

Federal university otuoke bayelsa state, offered me Biology
while Federal university Ndufu alike Ebonyi offered me Microbiology..
Am in a confuse state right now because the two school didn't offered me the course I choosed.
please I have come to get some advice from Nairalanders.. Between Biology and Microbiology, which is better in Nigeria.. which of them should I accept...
The institutions can also be used as a criteria for the decision making.

Neither am i an undergraduate nor a graduate of the aforementioned courses but I am studying something quite close to them and i would say both have their ups and downs.MICROBIOLOGY is very versatile.It has Industrial,medical and some other branches.Although,one tends not to work with one's Certificate these days in Nigeria but if you would want to use your Certificate to get a Job in Nigeria.I think Microbiology is more versatile than Biology.This is my opinion though.

Finished skul 2014 and having written jamb twice even through i passed d first one with a score of 207 for d first jamb i wrote while i was predegree at ife oau and because i flopped d pre degree .i decided to apply for their post utme which was lastyear.i read for noting less than 6 hours a day but when d result came out.i had 187,when i saw d score i almost had an heart attack.when my mom saw d result,she was like "teni what kind of child are u"but i think she was angry because of the over 200 thousand naira that got wasted through pre degree and post utme....

I was banned from watching tv for more than two months................... After sometime my mom asked me d school i picked for second choice in jamb and i told her yabatech so she told me to apply for d exam which i did ............

I started preparing for d examination ................... When d examination day came, i left home for d exam venue which was yabatech ict center or so i thought ........
I sat down and faced d question which was cbt(computer based test)which was very simple dat i finished them in less than 25 minutes

the nxt day when d result came out ...............;;;; the score that showed up at my face was 49 percent .....i. Almost cried my kidney and lungs out..............

Fasttrack to dis year..... I took anoda jamb which was a little bit hard but not too hard..................... So before i got home my mom had already seen my result cos my exam center was at gun state and my house is located in lagos......so i got home and asked her what my score was cos i used her phone number to register for jamb and i knew that the score must have Been sent to her as a msg by jamb


she told me i had 185
................ It was then i thought that my village pple are following me
so some things came up and 40 marks was added to my score which made it 225

fasttrack to my screening at futa which i picked as firstchoice in jamb and lasu as second choice
........
When i got to the screening officer who was to conduct d screening,what he said was i don't think you are qualified cos u don't have a credit in biology in waec
note::I choosed applied geophysics
i just walked away after he was true with d screening procedures

fasttrack to when d admission list came out,i decided to check and what i saw was something like dis

SORRY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN OFFERED ADMISSION YET PLS TRY AGAIN LATER





I was really heartbroken that i almost died(just exaggeration) .... It was then i thought that my village pple are very serious with me.............

So anytime my mom or any of my relative ask me if i have been admitted i would just lie to them that d list is not yet out

so i made a pledge to baba GOD that if i can be admitted i would do many things for him which giving a testimony is one of them(nairaland testimony not church own cos am d shy type)

weeks passed and nothing was fort coming and since i wasn't sure of futa anymore i decided to try lasu since i registered them for second choice in jamb

so a day after i purchased lasu second choice screening form i heard that futa second admission list was out;;;;
i decided to check even tho i knew i may not be admitted...;;i just checked for checking sake and behold what i saw was

Please how can get a nation wide recognized ID .I have enrolled with NIMC since last year Feb but they are yet to issue me with the permanent id. The slip they is being rejected. Also since I cannot drive, Can get driver license.

What you actually need is an International Passport.
Go to the Immigration office in your state of residence with your Birth Certificate issued by the NPC,letter of identification from your local government of origin and two passport.

The issuance fee is 25k.
